My buddy Psyph Morrison has never had a "real" sound system before. I have been telling him for a long time i would put something in one of his cars. Due to him living an hour away, having a job and also not having a car he was happy with, we never got around to it. But when he got the Accord, i was all in! This will be fun. WAIT till you see the look on his face. Enjoy the build!

before any more of you shit talking trolls decide to post just remember. He never portrays himself as being rich in his music although he talks about the paper chase a lot....we all do. He is still trying to make it. In the mean time, he works with troubled kids at receiving homes (his job) all day and then coaches youth football almost ALL YEAR long. I actually LOVE this car and i have always loved Honda Accords. It isn't bad at all.

Your attention to detail and perfectionism is greatly underappreciated especially in the audio business. Most guys just shove all the wires and shit behind the dash and act as if the owner will never take apart his dash. But you have amazing quality of work. That's a trait that any job or trade is lacking these days

After all these years isn't it still rewarding to just install a deck and see those lights for the first time in a new install lol. I love the install videos. They are what brought me to the forums and your youtube all those years ago. Right after you popped that poor ladies eye out.
I think the guy will love it after it is installed. My first sub was a p3 12 on a Memphis pr500.1 and it sounded so great until I got attached with the bass and got 2 12s and then 2 15s. That's how we all start off and then the bass is a need.
your going to change his world , people who never sat in a car with a good audio system will never know how music can sound so good.
I’d much rather see a system like this installed than something in an exotic car. And I love the attention to detail you put in. One day soon my car will have a full system like that.

meade916 nice clean build i hate seeing sloppy wires everywhere in big clumps i got my rca wires and remote know wires in a big mess but haven't built center console to hide them yet its been drivin me nuts but when 4 12s are slammin at the back of the dome i got other shit breaking around me been doing little repairs to dash door panels and pilar panels now the mirrors are breaking off .cant wait to see rest of this build .if you get a chance check out my budget build i kept it about 1000 bucks total .its 4 audio pipe bd2 12s on 2 planet audio 2000.2 anarchy ab amps in back window its different looking then a normal set up

A good place for the ground is under the carpet behind the back seat (the part that overlap the gap between the trunk floor) there should be a spot ready to just bolt the ground .

I have a 2006 accord and a box for 2 12s fits perfectly in the trunk, leaving nearly a foot and a half for stuff in the trunk, as well as tons of room behind the rear seats. even with cheap pyle subs on 300rms it sounds decent.

Man Steve, it would be amazing to have a friend like you. Psyph doesn't know what he's missing with the music he produces. I'll tell you, even with a single 10" P3, his song AP will always be the hardest bumping song I've played on my system that isn't tampered with and made decaf. Can't wait to see his expression when he gets a first listen. Keep the good work up!

I have a pair of massive audio ct2's and some PRV 6.5s that im waiting for warmer weather to put in. This is seriously the timeliest video ive ever seen!!

if you are not using the stock rear speakers, you could pull them out, the grills are held in by wide head silver phillips screws on the under side of the rear deck, then the speakers held in by 8mm bolts. Remove the speakers and put the grills back. Also, a 1999-2003 Honda Odyssey Alternator is a budget upgrade for the 1998-2002 V6 accords. Bolts up the same, the plug is ~1 inch off, but will work, direct plug and play swap. 105a stock, 130a Odyssey
i would never waste my time putting a lame 130a alternator in a car. If i am going to do that it will be a REAL high output alternator. Thanks for the install advice i think i have this under control. lol

Nice clean install, best part is the car it's going into, it's not a flashy "look at me" car. It's just an "average" dependable Civic that will last forever and get good gas mileage. Would love to put a system like this in my bone stock 05 Grand Marquis. Great job Steve!

Great vid!! Love Rockford Fosgate stuff !! Several years ago I just couldn’t get my Rockford T1 12 subwoofer to sound the way I wanted. After trying several enclosure types I found Steve Meade’s recommended cut out sheets for the T1 12. Followed Steve’s plans for a 2.25 net box tuned to 33hz. and the result was audiophile bliss. I’m still enjoying the sub daily. Looking forward to the 2nd part of this video. Can’t wait to give it a listen.

I was expecting centra, red steering wheel cover, shifter sock, a Fernando fuse holder, black zip ties, tesa tape, pac/maestro kit, backup camera, extremely complicated harness, and.... Well you get the idea. Great install!

I got a 97 CRV with a simular OEM head unit. I was acually shocked at the amount of output it has for 20 year old garbage. Needs Alot of work before I replace the sound system. I come here to dream a bit.
So I saved up to get a system before coilovers on my ride because you can't drive around with no Bass! Lol got everything Rockford Foasgate because of meade and i just came across this video i pretty much got the same set up but the lower end stuff ): "Prime 1200-1D Amp 2-P1694 2-P1675 Deh-S5000 Pioneer stereo Renegade wiring kit and 2-P2 "12s Lol Damn I need to step my game up asap Big Fan been watching since 09! 👌
