The Secret is the Holy Spirit- but what did William Seymour do in order to allow the Holy Spirit to work so powerfully through him?
At Azusa, blacks, whites, Hispanics, and nationalities worshipped together, crossing formerly impossible cultural lines.
God raised up William Seymour because of his wondrous heart. He was a black man in a time of severe racial prejudice and violence. Seymour had every right to be bitter but instead, he was filled with love seeing the true enemy. God used him powerfully to help launch Pentecostalism into the world
God is no respecter of person and what He did through Seymour He can do through you. It is all about the heart

William Seymour was the right man at the right time to receive the latter day outpouring of the Holy Ghost. And to restore the church of Yeshua to the victory that it had on the day of Pentecost when the Holy Ghost came as a rushing mighty wind in the upper room in Jerusalem.

A few of the believers were crying with broken heart for revival. They knew that sooner or later the revival would come and with earnest expectation they wrote a song under the power of Holy Spirit that,”There shall be showers of blessings, this is the promise...” A few years after that the revival broke out in 1901. In 1906 William Seymore came and he started preaching in a baptist Church. They invited him to come in the evening to preach but when he came the church was locked. He was disappointed and didn’t know what to do. A lady of that Church told him that they could use the horse barn and hold the meeting there. They cleaned the place and started worshipping there. The year was 1906 and the Holy Spirit came down in its power and the Church is not same again. The Lord restored the Pentecostal Church that was once hijacked by Constantine. Thousands of missionaries went throughout the world and now there are 1.5 billions of Christians with Pentecostal experience. I am praying for such or more powerful azusa type revival. I may not see that in my lifetime but I know in my spirit it will come.
Pray all Christians humble themselves and with broken hearts rely on the Holy Spirit to direct our lives. To reach the prisoners and truly set the captives free. I want so desperately to be one sold out to Jesus that I'll do whatever He says. Thankyou for the encouraging stories of men of faith

But is it me or is this brother trying real, real hard not to place that Racism on Charles Parham, & William Durham, he keeps saying, "I don't think William Durham was acting out of Racism & when Azuza split....Majority of the members went with William Durham & only a few Black members stayed with William Seymour....It was racism, just tell the truth with all Transparency.

I think we need to tell the truth about Charles Parham. He not only had Seymour learn outside the classroom because it was the law. Charles Parham had a lot of racist views and convictions outside of the law of that time. Last he had an issue with Seymour leading the church. We can't heal skirting around the truth

I agree. I have much more respect for Seymour than Parham! Seymour would NOT ALLOW any racism. The blood of Christ erased the 'color line' at Azusa! Seymour was the Father of the Pentecostal movement and it's really sad that he was not recognized as such by the Pentecostal churches...due to the fact that he was black. But THE LORD KNOWS!!!

If he was a white guy many will be talking about what God achieved through Jin but just because of his color and people are missing the work of the Lord. Glory to the Lord Jesus, He uses any one He wants to accomplish His word.
I listened to this video with full attention and my point was proven that racism stopped Azusa Revival but can be restored now in the name of Jesus. This teaching has several revelations
I'm so blessed.
Personally, my focus is on the revival. What was that made way for the move of the Holy Ghost, for people to be healed, etc. It all started with someone who cried out for more of God. Revival starts in the heart of an individual & it spreads like fire.

We so honor brother William today. Do not believe racism was the issue because we have seen so many Churches split even today. Our interpretation of Scripture seems to a major issue. Very good summary of the life and ministry of William Seymour.
However, the speaker underestimates the power of racism in the nation of America and how many of the actions of the white people that left William Seymour and betrayed him were motivated by an implicit racism within their own lives.
Azusa street was the Holy Spirit’s attempt to use the church to break down the racial prejudice of the time, sadly the church at the time failed to pass the test.
I pray the church in our days will model Rev. 5:9-10 and pass the test. God bless.

Wait on God. Stop working and start to walk with Him. As I see it has taken often many years for someone to come to the place where God can use that person. Running, activity, follow programmes, is easier than wait on God for many years. It needs more faith. The bible has many examples. "Man have dreams. They want to see them fulfilled. Can I find someone who stands long enough before me, because I have dreams to see them fulfilled as well."
What are the lessons for us - the persons being in unity - in one accord?? What broke it down? Disunity.

The devil always divides. And the showing of it. Tells the inward story. I’d reather stay with righteousness then to cling on to negative flesh
I have spent most of my Christian life in Penticostelism. But over the years, and through the Study of God's Word, I have observered Practices and behaveiors that just don't allign with scripture. One is the teaching of being filled with the Holy Ghost is always signified by speaking in tongues. The Bible doesn't teach that. Paul asked, "do all speak in tongues?, do all prophesy?, no, but desire the gift that is appropriate". So, that would indicate that it is possible to have other gifts in operation, while not having the gifts of tongues. Just because something seems to happen, does not make it sound doctrine. The practice of prophetic words, not conducted as Paul instructed. The whole church being encouraged to speak in tongues with out interpretastion, (prayer languege? Again, what did Paul say? "when you come together toungues should be interpreted and words should be no mopre than three. if there is no interpreter, keep yer mouth shut". Loose paraphraise, I know. But!, the greatest concern and the one that disqualifies, is, "Works/legalism." They say, "Grace, but to stay saved or to get more saved, (santification? Holiness?)here's your list of dos and don'ts. So after examining the fruits of the penticostal movement, and realizing it's not scripturally based. IT'S NOT OF GOD! mILLIONS OF pENTICOSTAL BELIEVERS, HAVE BEING BEWITCHED, AND CONVINCED THAT WORKS KEEP THEM SAVED, OR GIVE THE TAXIC HOPE THAT ,"THE WILL BE GOOD ENOUGH TO GET INTO THE FAIRY TAIL HEAVEN, BUT BECAUSE OF TRUSTING THEIR WORKS, WILL FIND THEMSELVES ETERNALLY LOST. sO, i'M MORE APT TO SAY THAT WILLIAM SEMORE WAS AN INSTRAMENT OF SATAN AS WELL AS ANY PREACHER THAT CONTINUES THE LIE!
The book Asuza Street by Frank Bartleman is a good reading. I recommend this book to everyone.
John G. Lake stated that Seymour said he was so hungry for God he started praying 5 hours a day for 2 and a half years. He was more hungry than ever after that and God instructed him to pray more. And there more greater things that must be sought out with faith and prayer. So Seymour increased his prayer time to 7 hours a day and continued praying for another 1 and a half years more. When the glory of God came because of all that praying and sacrifice it went all over the world. Men may not give him his due credit, but his witness is in heaven forever. I have little respect for Parham. He died in disgrace.

Friends, I was wrong in asking if the speaker in this video knew Seymour was right. Upon reading the things Seymour recorded upon all matters concerning Saved, Sanctification and Holiness, William J Seymour by far had the most power, spirit of God and understanding beyond the men in his area and time. I Honour William Seymour and keep in my heart his thoughts on such important things as Seymour brought the power down, yet him and 7 others. My goodness, he had such Power in his weakness. A man who fasted and earnestly desired more Holiness. A man who got more Holiness and with it more understanding as the Word in Solomon described. I believe Seymour to be among the greatest 3 prophets of the 1900’s and the 3rd got his Blessing through him in 1907.
Good is speaking to me again about the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. It was for Cornelius and his household 10 years after Pentecost Acts 10 and God summoned Peter the Apostle to witness Jesus Baptize Cornelius and his household which God taught Peter that salvation was not the Gentile too and Baptized them in Water in Jesus Name. Then 20 years after Pentecost Paul the Apostle 12 disciples in water and then Jesus Baptized the 12 in the Holy Spirit. Conclude Baptism in Holy Spirit is for 2022 with the evidence of speaking in tongues because that is what happened to Cornelius and the 12 disciples.

We will not see another move of God like Azusa until the church learns to shun the flesh and get back to fasting and prayer....now for the most part all you have are these big mega churches and big fancy buildings with pastors flying around in private jets.... that's not going to get it....

Charles Parham's problem unfortunately was a bigot himself, he struggled with that, there were some things Parham said that was very controversial concerning Black people...It wasn't just because of some segregation laws.

Most people don't realize Azusa lasted for 3 years. Seymour believed in loss of salvation? That's surprising. He was praying over 5 hours a day and stepped up to 7. How do you do that?

Many blessings! Where there is the power of our Heavenly Father Satan, will come in the heart of the most vunarable one's.
This is why we can not critize a brother or sister. This is when the Spirits or demons take the advance to move and divide then later to destroy.
Our wrong words is the door for Satan and the demons to take an advance move, but where there is Unity and Holiness, these things can not happen.
Satan takes an advance to get in the minds of one or two leaders and even the members, but if the leaders continue to be in Unity and in Prayer, God will answer the prayers.
There must be muturity in our lives through the Holy Spirit, we must know that we are here for a little while. We are not of this world.
The enemy on the other hand does not want us to Live in a beautiful world that Jesus offered us, NO! he the serpent dies not want us to have of that inheritance. The serpent never wanted us to be of existence.
There must be Unity, not division in the church, for this is where the enemy (Devil) will have the advance.
It has happen in many places. Satan is like a roaring lion to destroy, the work of our Heavenly Father. The serpent like to mimic, but only to do evil and to lie. To distroy the Heavenly Father's Work, because he wants to take many people to the burning pit.

When I was 11 years old I received the Lord.
I saw a young lady receive the Holy Spirit. I was surprised that I spoke in a loud voice what is that and every one looked at me and another young girl said It is the Holy Spirit.
I said, I want that! I want that! My mother continued to take me to church and we acepted the Lord as our Savior and also my little sister.
When I was 12 years old, I received the baptismal clases and I was baptized in the Waters. At 13 years of age I was baptized with the Holy Spirit after a few months.
It was a beautiful moment in my life,

Many people become scared or others will spook them, Pushing them away from the narrow path of the Lord, our Jesus.
We need to preach to the people the truth.
Many churches are not preaching the truth.
