Few understand the breath of skills the guy working on their equipment has to have. Thanks for sharing.

Good stuff. I had my first experience with the CORE controller back in 2022...I found it to be an easy interface and easy to use. I like it. Good video as always Steve

great video, its nice you don't need a service tool to connect to that board

Thanks! I agree. The app is easy to use as well, I like it better than Symbio.

Great video. Thank you for sharing. Can it work without internet tablet , and the board ?

Thanks, ZE. It will work without the internet, but not without the board. This board controls the entire unit

I had one of the Bluetooth buttons not even touching the actual board on a unit I installed a few months back I removed the black cover and pushed the actual button on the circuit board itself. It has crappy feel on the black plastic imo😊

Yeah, the plastic does take some getting used to. Guys over do it as well when it doesn't work, lol. Pushing it harder doesn't usually help

@@EverythingHVACR it’s like a thermostat gas pedal the lower you put it the faster it gets there 🤪

Don't know if you care or not, but there is an address visible on the box the board came in.

I didn't notice that, but I appreciate it. Thanks, Topher.

How much was that board? I replaced the main board in a Trane Symbio heat pump condenser back in December. It was almost $1200.

I don't know, honestly. It was warranty. They just asked me to install it

It's probably comparable. I had to program mine from an app. I think it can be done manually, but the app streamlined it. Couldn't copy anything from the failed board, it was DOA.

I would think it would be comparable. I haven't had to replace one on Trane yet. I like the Core app better too
