You may not personally like glitter but you show glitters and with the close up swatches and comparisons, your videos are helpful but also entertaining. And you’re so likable that we’ve paid attention to your likes so, at least when I saw the collection I thought eeee I can’t wait to see the video and comment😅😜😆
The pearly sage green is the color of the season. I like Dressed to the Pines slightly more because of the deeper color. Great comparisons as usual!
Yes, so many companies coming out with one this winter. I love it! I would agree. I think I like Decked to the Pines a little bit more than this one.
This collection is definitely more Fall than holiday in my opinion. My favorite Fall/Winter collection has been the Orly Breathable In The Spirit collection. They're all shimmers but they're gorgeous. Anyway, thanks for the review and all the comparisons Laurie!
Essie “row with the flow “ would be a close but slightly lighter choice to “midnight delight”.
You always go above and beyond for your searches! Your favorites are my favorites! I can see wearing 3 of those 4 as winter polishes but I do agree it feels more Autumnal than holidayish!
Just love the Carols and Caviar shade! I think it would look great with a cozy sweater. Also like Head to the Mistletoe and Wrapped in Luxury too for the holidays. Thanks Laurie for another awesome swatch video!

“Carols & Caviar” looks like a really balanced neutral (hints of blue, gray and even a tinge greenish against other navy blues) and exactly what I wear best. It’s funny, I’m really fair skinned but cool tones don’t look great on me but neither do warm tones either though. So really, neutral shades that have a good balance between cool and warm look absolutely perfect against my skin.
I actually feel like this is a perfect fall to winter transition collection, but it's not a holiday collection (maybe Essie will have a holiday collection too?).
I would have to agree with you on that one! Yeah I am not sure about that. I don't think so. They will have an expressie collection coming out fairly soon though.
I definitely need the glitter green,it’s so beautiful 💅 and yeah the rest look’s we have seen them a little before 😊
Out of all the ladies that do polish reviews. I've watched quite a few. You are the best. I love the way you explain every color then do the swatch. Then the caparisons with other colors. It's very informative and fun to watch. I only buy essie. And have over 400 bottles. I now pretty much buy each collection as it comes out. All since I started watching you about a year ago. I like essie original the best. Not fond of the couture even though I have 50 of them. And I have a few expressie. You do a wonderful job. Thank you
My autumn and winter clothes are basically the same so I do wear the same color polishes both seasons.
I like the polishes, especially the caviar shade. But what a weird “winter” collection. Thanks for reviewing it, Laurie!
Hmmm, I agree not reminiscent of holiday colors… for winter I like deep rich warm colors, cool pastel colors, and deep grays that lean purple… I like subtle sparkle but not anything that comes across looking frosted/pearls Ed but more crelly with sparkles/hologram throughout. Thanks Laurie!
If you're poor like me, a great dupe for OPI Rust and Relaxation is the Dollar General Believe Beauty polish, Hot Chicken. It's a great color and formula, and it costs only $1.
I agree with you, a lot of these look like what I’d wear in autumn. It’s a nice collection altogether but the metallics are really interesting to me. I like that Wrapped in Luxury has a jelly type of formula so that one is a maybe for me.

I bought Wrapped in Luxury and love it for the deep red burgundy and squishiness I needed in my collection. Would have been curious to see OPI Taupeless Beach and China Glaze Below Deck in your comparisons for Essie Sleigh It. Thanks for all your hard work comparing all these collections for us!
I don't know what they were thinking- this so does not say "Holidays!" to me. The only polish in the collection that I'm tempted to buy is Head to Mistletoe, but I already bought the OPI Decked to the Pines.

Head-to-Mistletoe is close to your eye color. I tend not to like those glitter shades either because they are hard to remove but that one looks like it won’t be hard to remove. I really love the Navy shades as has come out with.
Yup, definitely a fall collection to me. Not that I mind at all.
I have to paint my nails with My Italian Is Rusty after seeing your nails. Love it! That Milan collection is still my favorite polish collection.
I just wanted to say that I love your comparisons so much!!! I am still only a couple years into Essie collecting and you always show me polishes that I NEED in my life even if they are not from the newest collection.

I saw the display at shoppers today in Toronto Canada, sleigh ride was replaced with chinchilly, midnight delight was replaced with penny lane. I got carols and caviars and head to mistletoe
Yay! I was so excited to see this pop up this morning. Thank you for all of the hard work on your videos. I love them all and never buy without seeing your reviews first. I loved this collection and it reminded me of “old school” Essie when I first saw it. (Mind Your Mittens jumps to mind) I love the red, tan, and navy. Not sure what I’ll actually break down and buy since I need more polish like I need another hole in my head. 😂

I do really love the green, and I plan on buying it.
But yeah, this collection doesn’t give off any winter vibes. It’s definitely more appropriate for Fall or even Spring.

I love your channel. It's funny, to me I see a Christmas theme in the whole collection. The Sleigh It reminds me of wood a sleigh or even kind of a reindeer color. The midnight delight feels like a gingerbread cookie or maybe cookies for Santa. Etc etc. I like this collection but am not sure any of them would look great on me. I like the reddish wine color - am forgetting the name

I think this is more of a Fall going into Winter collection. Carols And Caviar is a good November and January color. Head To Mistletoe and Not So Silent Night are great December colors.
I wonder how that red compares to the red from the China Glaze fall collection last year! Maybe that one is lighter 🤔

How does head to mistletoe compare to China glaze famous fir sure? Winter 2020 I think.
What about O&J comparisons? Is the brown similar to Caramel Budino for instance?
I agree...the colors are nice but only the glittery metallics feel like a winter/holiday collection. Kinda disappointed tbh 🤷♀️
How does the wrapped in luxury look comparec to Essie's Bold and Boulder and their Nail the grade recent releases?? They look so similar in the bottles
I'm annoyed because the essie fall collection is still not available in france. I really want force of nature and i'm still waiting so I guess the winter one is not for now .
It's available in Germany. I bought it in a "Rossmann". Strange, that a L'Oréal product doesn't come out in France!

this collection was boring. the only one I like is the green, at least it's different. OPI definitely tries to come out with unique colors each time

I would l8ve if you would show if some shades stamp! Especially gold shades. I love to stamp Gold and i always use essies stars aligned. I would love to have a copper alternative.
