- One of the most used routes in Turkey is between the capital Ankara and Istanbul. There are plenty of route options to reach Ankara from Istanbul but the most convenient and shortest path is through the paid Istanbul-Ankara highway that reduced travel distance to less that 5 hours . the fee for the highway is about 30 TL .In the longest video ever posted on the channel I recorder almost half of the road. There's an obligation for companies. They need to hang the flag their entrance. Skyscrapers also need to. But for cars you're right.
BTW if this video recorded about August 30th it explains why there were so many flags.

Was the gopro mounted on the roof of the car?
At times I thought the footage was from the UK or Cyprus because of left-hand traffic, i.e. with three lanes, the left lane is for those driving very slowly and each right is overtaken. Since when has Turkey switched to left-hand traffic? ;-)

what was your average speed during the trip?
I found it. :) Each lane line is 15metres long with gaps. I counted the lines for 1 minute, there are 128 lane lines. So, if we multiply lines with 15 metres and 60(because one hour is 60 minutes), we found your avarege speed. It is 115 km/h :D (If it is wrong, tell me the truth.)
Your speed absolutely can be change time to time. It was just a guess :)
