There’s a big difference between entry and first contact. Reyna has always been a great first contact agent, but people have always seen her as a traditional entry duelist. The same goes for yoru. They have both always been solid agents when used correctly.

The Reyna lurks actual make a lot of sense when you realize the Reyna is not replacing a duelist in the comp she’s replacing a sentinel, and she’s holding map control and lurking.
its really kind of just prx tho, prx loves to try new stuff with different agents. they are basically the team that plays the least meta teams on every map
PRX does this quite well and shows potential for a lot of agents. I think they lost a game with this comp but it was such a close game that it seems came down to game decisions rather than comp decision. I think the Reyna on Bind (especially after the introduction of Harbor) makes much more sense than Jett.
@@kurocon6235 Oping into Reyna really isn't ideal cause of her Leer change and then comboing it with Skye utility it's quite oppresive and pretty efficient in clearing the OP. Also you don't typically see Raze OP anyway on Bind and OP isn't guaranteed anything at this level so I don't see your point. You'd also notice most teams don't flank quickly on Bind, due to the assumption the Attackers are falling back cause of easy rotations. High level isn't comp.
@Kurocon economy is a really big thing at this level. Harbour is really good at denying an op angle due to his abilities, and mindfreak probably has some orb lineup for heaven anyways, so there's no good spots to op at. PRX is also a rush heavy team, so if they retreat or somehow gets a kill they'll get overwhelmed anyways, costing -$4700 to the team

I feel reyna is a solid agent when people have a skill gap. If you are decently better than everyone on the enemy team, she gives a slight edge in 1v1s that no other agent normally gives making her doubly as hard to beat if there is a skill gap. Basically a one man, but weaker jett and sage combo. Helps you make use of your aim skill gap more but leaves you lacking utility wise. In these matches she shouldn't work due too how good everyone is, but does anyway because this guy seems to play a slight cut above them.

No it does not. Actually Skye (from showers) killed Viper after she shot the flash based on the kill feed. The 3 agents behind the smoke is Reyna, Harbor, and Brim.

I agree that conceptually lurking duelists feel bad, but for a character like reyna, I feel like she’e made for lurking. Almost like a sentinel in disguise, classified as a duelist bc she has flashes. Think about it. The best thing you can have from your lurker is to stay alive and cause confusion to the other team. Reyna can heal to full or just get out for free with dismiss while lurking. And with her flashes not being great for helping an entry character, it’s perfect for 1v1s. I think the moment the player base realizes that reyna is actually a sentinel, triple duelist will be meta in ranked and we’ll have gone full circle back to the beta test days. Good times.

with the Reyna pro comp we will probably see a bit of movement in the meta at least in pro play with teams building comps around stopping that Reyna play or deny her to win the game for her team
Really,it's Something they need to stop. Reyna didn't do anything that someone else couldn't, other than the Dismiss entry. Pretty much everything else, someone else can do but better. At least, that's how I see it.

wdym defenders just getting superflashed like that even a bot can kill them see what happened to rb in round 5. doesnt need to be cracked to capitalize on that especially in pro play
15:38 there isnt a problem with a lurking reyna. If you have two duelists (raze and reyna in this example), raze is the entry duelist out of the two which can allow reyna to lurk. Letting your reyna lurk can get you free rounds, i know cuz i let my reynas lurk if we have another duelist.
Reynas flashes are trash in pro play. At high level they’re easy to break and then they get no value. The reason paper Rex is getting value because they combo them with other util to make them harder to deal with. On their own they suck.

I really hate it when we talked about something. Like, why isn’t it someone, why is it something? Sometimes, they need to be someone somewhere to speak to find someway or something to be done. It is somewhat silly that we somehow need someway to talk about something.

In all fairness i like the fact i saw reyna here in a vct game but this doesnt make her a good agent what so ever. Because in Ranked ppl dont really care if the agent is bad. Thats why so many (for example) Yoru players show up dominating servers. Like Eggsterr, RedValorant and Ziptie. Its always a nice change of pace to see an agent that seems bad to just show us the light into trying them out and seeing their potential for growth.

Flash + Eye is amazing! If you turn and dogde the flash, you can't see for the eye, but, if you shot the eye, you get blinded. Is spectacular.

To rotate fastly, if the carrier dies, the opponent know where the spike is. Since, split push is not strange in pro
