But Meera given the circumstances same is aplicable for other countries as well, as i myself am looking forward to persue my masters in UK, I wouldve gladly went with the US but with the recent devastating news of Indian students has made me think of the later, So i am left with no other choice than UK? i'd rather go to UK than canada. What are your thoughts? would love to see your input on this as well.
Hey! Yes, the rules in every country are changing for international students, so it's quite difficult to make decisions based on it.. I would suggest that instead of being depended on the country for PR, think of this as you need to have a good education first and then good job.. For eg. I need to have good education, so the affordable option for me was UK bt then again, did I choose this purely based on getting PR of UK? NO. Hence, I came to conclusion that, make the best out of it.. I did the same while studying full time in UK. I build the during portfolio that incase rules even changes I would only focus on building portfolio that help me to get a good job or help me to sustain long term.. rather than making decision based being PR of that specific country.
hi Meera good informative videos keep it up 👍,is the new rules applicable to all students or just the 2024 batch students? just to know out of curiosity
Thank you...🌟 I'm glad to know that you found it helpful. Well, it is applicable from April 2024 to all. So basically, those who are on PSW and also on student visa and haven't found employeer to sponsor them, then it will be difficult from April 2024. Hope that helps 🙌🏻🙂
hey meera. im a computer science engineering graduate . i got admit from warwick business school for MIS course. the reason for choosing this course is because i do not like coding and came to know that this course has less to no coding. am i likely to get a job in UK as a fresher ? is it a good choice ? i would really like to know your input on this .please tell me what do i have to secure a job
After completing Masters from India and directly looking for a job in UK will still require to meet threshold salary range. I.e, if your job position provides you 38700/year then you will be sponsored... else they won't even think to hire you. It's better that you find job in India itself in any MNC companies and then switch it abroad after few years!
Hi.. how r u ?... i hope u doing well..!!!! one small doubt ..i m planning to study "MSC CANCER THERAPEUTICS" so this visa rule is applicable here????? and another doubt is this worth to study??
Hi! I am not in healthcare sector. So, I would recommend you can get in touch with someone pursing similar course through LinkedIn and have conversation regarding the same. Hope that helps :)
hey meera i am thinking of doing my masters in uk, but i know it going to be nearly impossible for me to get a skilled job after my studies, can i do care takere or warehouse jobs at uk there and extend my visa and settle their
Hey! Yes, caretaker people are getting sponsorships as they are considered under healthcare workers.. for logistics, umm I am not sure... bt some companies does provide sponsorship ik that. For eg. GXo. Someone ik got sponsorship ik that... so yeah. . Best wishes to you :)
Hi Meera! I am planning to move to UK in September as I have got an offer from Westminster to study Public Relations MA...what do you think I should do?
Thanks Meera for your insight...I am assuming that you have also studied the same course..how are you managing there, what are your plans ahead? I would love to discuss this with you personally if there's no problem.
Hello! Being teacher... ummm Idk much about it... bt afas ik, they usually hire teachers who have studied in the UK for their higher education and have knowledge of it... If it's through research degree then, the scenario is different. My mentor did use to get the teaching part time jobs at different places while pursuing full time phd in UK... so yeah...
The rule is for all except those that comes under healthcare workers in NHS. If you are not part this then, yes it will be difficult! Hope that helps :)
I'm planning to apply for an ms in computer science, should I go on....can you say anything about the job market in cs related fields like AI and ML, would be grateful if you reply this...
There is no sponsored job recruitment for any non healthcare field... You can have a look that KPMG, HSBC and all have not hired the international or immigrants due to strict rules of UK on visa... As of 2024, it is difficult to get a job as no company would be ready to sponsor you as a fresher... So yeah, look into twice before making final decision.. Hope that helps, Thanks :)
There's no good or bad choice when it comes to doing and learning things you love. One thing is for sure to have a look at the scope of the same in that region.. for this, you need to connect with someone who did this course or in your field... I am in Media & Communications, so I won't be able to throw light on your Q. Hope that helps :)

Yes, for education wise, UK tops with loads of best universities which ranks highest around the world. Through my experience, I would say it's 100% true.
No offence to this girl but her entire videos are demotivating for people planning to go to the UK. Firstly all these hardships in finding a job is hard in any foreign country and not just the UK, secondly she really need to up her accent and language skills.
Well, firstly, it's offense.... so make sure you learn your language skills right. Secondly, if it's demotivating you, don't watch it it's as simple as that. My role is to showcase the reality... which I did. If you want to go or not, it is your decision. I am not here to motivate each and every viewer. Lastly, judging someone by not knowing the whole truth will never get you where you want to be...
