Happy belated birthday and glad you are feeling better! I bought the Tonic colors and can not wait to see what Lindsay put them in because I bought them all!
Thank you, Heather! I'm so excited about the Tonic watercolors! I think Lindsay may only have the mixing set and used an old Jane Davenport palette to put them in. I'm not sure all the colors would fit in it. Looks like we are all going to have to find creative ways to store them!
Glad to see you back to posting, want monster is locked up. Of course I have good number of those items because Lindsay and Angela are equal opportunity bad influences!
First of all, Happy Birthday Shana!!! I hope you had a great birthday 🎉🥳 and, wow! This Birthday hul, it's huge and yummy!😅 I love it soooo much, and dear, welcome back, I'm very happy for you, and for me lol😂 I love all, but, I love to see in action the tonic watercolors...I guess it's their name? And and Lyra watercolor sticks, and the liquid graphite! So, Im glad you are ok, and I'm very happy for you! Enjoy your birthday presents ❤🎉❤🎉❤
I had a wonderful birthday, thank you! I'm so glad to be back! I have a lot I need to get caught up on, but I'm super excited to jump back in and play around with my new art supplies!
Great haul! We definitely help each other find great supplies 😂 I have been enjoying the Caran D’Ache Gouache you showed me. Now seeing you and Lindsay with the Tonic colors I am thinking I have a gift card, I might have to give those a try! I’m intrigued by the liquid graphite, can’t wait to see how you use that. Great Daniel Smith choices, welcome to the Datk Side 😉 So many wonderful choices, enjoy all the new supplies!
Thank you! I'm super excited about the Tonic watercolors. They are so cool! I can't wait to try them! I'm glad you have been enjoying the Caran d'Ache Gouache! It's one of my favorites!
Oooh I love to live vicariously through other people’s hauls. I cant wait to see what you do with the Fluid graphite. You inspired me to use my MuseumAquarelles - I just finished up my Christmas cards with them and had a blast. That chicken witch is so cute!
I'm so glad I inspired you to use your Museum Aquarelle pencils! I bet your cards came out beautifully!! I'm excited about the fluid graphite, too. I can't wait to see how it works!
Happy birthday!! You have a new room to store & organize all of these supplies, right?? 😉😅 The Aurora Borealis and fall vibes are gorgeous!! 🥰 Lots of fun supplies!! 😍 I think Mira Byler uses those butcher palettes a lot!! 🤗
Thank you so much! I managed to find space for most of the supplies, but I may need to reorganize my inks to make room for the new ones! Lol Now that you say it, I think I have seen Myra use butcher tray palettes! I think it's going to be perfect for what I need it for!
@@CautionArtistatPlay It looked like a good fit!! 👍 The ceramic palettes are so cute, but I would totally break them!! 🤣 Ink would also be everywhere!! 😂 You are quite welcome!! 🤗😍
It was great seeing you back - I had been wondering where you were 😊 I definitely would have snatched up the Sennelier palette too! I only have their halfpans but love the colours 🤩 Luckily I don’t think I can get the giant ceramic pans where I am, the are sooo tempting 😅 Have fun with your new art supplies - looking forward to seeing your videos using them! 😎
Thank you, it's good to be back! I am so stoked about that Sennelier palette. I'm so excited about all the new supplies, I'm not sure what I want to explore first! Lol Yeah, those Tonic watercolors are so interesting. I just couldn't pass them up when I saw the ads for them!
This was such a juicy amount of supplies and colours Shana 🥰. A belated Happy Birthday! I too have not been on TH-cam, and so, I had no idea you were also MIA. I do hope you allowed yourself a good amount of recovery time. I loved those Tonic watercolours in the huge ceramic pans, and I can’t wait to see what you think of them beside your other more conventional looking tubes and pans. They remind me of the Belgian brand, Blockx. They too come are available in the most enormous ceramic rectangular pans, as well as tubes. Seriously huge! There are 72 in that line, and they are made of the more rare pigments and all are purportedly lightfast. Now off you pop and play!! 🖌️🎨👩🏻🎨🥰
Thank you, Anita! I'm super excited about all my new goodies! It was a mich needed rest for sure. I'm feeling pretty refreshed now! Now I'm going to have to look into the Blockx brand, I haven't heard of them before! That sounds really interesting. Thanks for mentioning it!
@@CautionArtistatPlay Oh dear Shana, you won't thank me when the price becomes apparent. I have a feeling Lindsay tried them, but don't quote me on it. I know you can always grill her on it though! 😂🖌️🧑🏻🎨🎨💜
Hi Shana, Happy Belated Bday! I love your bday videos every year they are so long and nice, love them every time and sometimes I look at them more than once. I love some of the new products you have. P.S. Daniel Smith watercolors have been on sale at Blick and Amazon. I got some new sets this summer. Happy fall, Maria
Thank you so much, Maria! I'm glad you have been enjoying my Birthday Haul series! Thanks for the heads up on the sale! I hope you have a joyful fall as well. This is my favorite time of year! 💖
Welcome back! I love art hauls, living vicariously through them until I can't take it anymore and go back to my art supply hoarding ways! We have similar taste in supplies, that doesn't help! Happy belated b-day btw!
I'm such a nerd and think you need to use the Dr Ph Martins to paint some Doc Martens 😛 You're haul is great. I'm actually surprised you found new things though as I know your stash 🤣 I'm feeling overwhelmed with everything I have. I could buy more too, but I'm struggling to use everything I already own. While supplies can last a long time, I want to do everything soon, as nobody got time for that. In saying all of that I'll regularly search products online when I see Lindsay post something new. It's not always things I would normally use, but she makes me want them. I'm glad you're posting again. You left a hole in my weekends. I'm glad you're actually over the virus.
Thank you so much! I'm happy to be back! Yeah, I was surprised with how much ended up getting too. Buying supplies feels like a hobby of its own sometimes. I need to settle in after this and get using some supplies. You are right. There is so little time! I have some fun ideas for a lot of these things already, so I'm super excited! Love the Doc Martens idea, too funny!
Did anyone else notice that your scull has a missing tooth? Great haul, I'm really interested in those ceramic pans except I'm in Australia so they basically cost us twice as much. With the kuretake set don't use any masking fluid with them because when you erase the dried masking fluid it actually removes some of the paint also & changes your finished pieces. Great to have you back & happy birthday also
Good to know about the making fluid! I will keep that in mind! Haha, yeah, he came with a missing tooth and a baggie with extra teeth in it, but none of the teeth fit that spot! 😂
You asked about the Pastelmat: Apparently it depends entirely on the batches whether the grain is of good quality (fine) or coarse and unusable for colored pencil artists. For a while it seemed to be that the board was great quality and the sheets in the pads not so much, and also like you said the White seemed to be grainier than the colored ones. I purchased a bunch of the pads about a year ago and indeed the white ones seem grainier. But recently it must have changed because people have been reporting bad quality across all of the different kinds of Pastelmat, so I guess you have to depend on luck when purchasing the newer ones. 😬 (I've been in Bonny Snowdon's Academy until recently, and there were many discussions about Pastelmat because Bonny has so many tutorials with it.)
Oh wow! That is such a bummer, especially since it's such an expensive surface! I wonder if they have changed the manufacturers they use? Glad I didn't spend a lot of money on getting a whole pad or something.
@@CautionArtistatPlay Well, Bonny said she was actually in meetings with Clairefontaine representatives several times, and telling them about the quality issues and how important the quality is to colored pencil artists. Apparently the Pastelmat is handmade and so the quality can vary. But some people are actually reporting a brick-like surface that is not at all the "velvety smooth surface" like Clairefontaine is advertising. The representatives seemed very open to feedback and for a while it seemed promising that things would improve. But now even Bonny has given up hope. 😅 So I guess it remains a gamble. I've decided not to buy any more of it, for now.
Happy birthday! So glad you're feeling better, we missed you. I have to ask, why is the skull missing a tooth? Was it included but fell out? I've been looking at little artists mannequins on Amazon and this fit right in!
Thank you! The skull came with the tooth missing. It came with some extra teeth in a little baggy, but none of them fit that spot very well. It does show it with missing teeth on the website, so it's supposed to be that way, but I found it a bit odd, too, lol.
Happy birthday 🎉
Thank you so much! 🥰
I am feeling a bit called out right now!😅
Loved seeing all the new things! I think we need to go out and paint the beautiful fall foliage!
I think we are all equally bad influences on each other! 💖 lol!
Yes, we do! It's such a beautiful time of year!
very fun video to watch 💖happy belated birthday!!!! love the haul and so glad to hear you are feeling better, welcome back🖌
Thank you!! 🥰
wow lots of fancy pieces here!! I've wanted to try handbook journals for a while now 🥰
This will be my first time using a Handbook Journal, that I can recall. I have heard good things about it!
Happy belated Birthday!! 🧁😊
The leaf watercolor journal is so pretty!
Thank you!! It is super pretty, I can't wait to use it!
You're back, YAY!!! 🤗💚
Yes!! I'm so happy to be here, I missed you all! 🥰
Happy belated birthday. 😀
