Arguably more difficult in very basic human areas of survival however the kinetics of our current paradigm are not so much worse perhaps more layered and therefore we need to become more creative to survive and be gratefully content and celebrate joyous everlasting life. HU
Need to look harder, then. You can find some wild things if you click on the weirdest album art in your recommendations. Muito Kaballa Power Ensemble - Mamari (2021) was directly recommended off this video, even.
A cup of strong coffee, a post-breakfast Camel filter, the gentle birdsong filtering through the window in rural France, and this...! The world ain't such a bad place. .Many thanks for the upload.
That is so evocative and I think the music could also suit a lazy morning in the city, for example here in London... Sound of trains casually clattering past....slice of toast....people coming and going for various reasons....
I’ve got to quit smoking to. Cheers from STL Missouri, 2024. Unreal sounds. Music moves me forward, to quit smoking is a choice to hear more music. One day at a time. Thank god music can be part of those days.
Yeah this is a weird one. You're right though, with jazz-funk and fusion. If you'd like to dig deeper I would also class this in the realm of fusion; modal, spiritual, bop. There's proggy bits, there's groovy bits, it's got Latin and African influences all the while - stratospheric abstraction.
This album sounds like a spinoff of the band Weather Report which is odd considering that Connexion's other alnums have their own unique sound to them.
I used to think I knew a lot about Jazz. The internet proved me wrong.
Same here...
Looked it up on all my music apps and couldn’t find it.
And then we all realised, one by one, that we are jazz!
I agree.
TH-cam is teaching humility. I thought I knew a lot about electronic music of the 70s/80s …
70's sound ....wow . So much more interesting than today .

💪💪💪💪
Disagree but it is awesome and that 70s sound is very warm and cozy

This is why 77 is my favorite #. It’s when I went to the South, saw Star Wars, and albums like this were being made. 1977 isn’t a year, it is a place.
When de 2 7 clash ....😀
1. Maroon Dance (10:50)
2. The Healer (8:36)
3. Landings (12:43)
4. Ogetnom (8:52)

Sounds exactly like my morning, except the rural France bit. Glad you're tuned in!

Bring me wine
Gotta quit smoking tho

I absolutely love how they mastered this. Big, ringing. Loud mids, heavy bass.
Makes it so good for listening at high decibles
Man, byrd is so cool
Been getting deep into Jazz and Blues lately. So far I really dug Donald Byrd, I also dig this too.
The track 1 is like "Freedom Jazz Dance".
Totally, I heard it right away, you beat me to it.
Yes it is....
This is one of the best channels in the whole TH-cam. Thank you so much for uploading these beautiful albums mate!
Thanks a lot, its my pleasure!

Amazing!
STUPENDO CONTRABBASSO!!!

Me transporte a un capitulo de HEY ARNOLD caminando por el terreno baldío a punto de jugar un partido de baseball, demasiado genial el disco.

Formerly known as Anus; then changed to Brown Eye - finally settled on this name as the others caused a big stink with the public
Jazz + Funk
So-called fusion.
Oh, 50 years...
I am new in the Jazzy court but i like
I don't know *anything* about jazz.
Does this get classed as jazz-funk? Fusion?
Whatever it is.....I like it!

Not a big fan of Jazz but this right here slaps
Esse mundo da música é fantástico...pessoas de outros lugares com seus mundos ...nos fazem lembrar do nosso mundo ... valeuuuu
Awesome stuff ❤. I have many albums on vinyl from this period by different jazz artists and they all seem to have this hard edged progressive sound.
I may never leave
Don't.
This is superb
Beautiful, picture too ❤
Got it ❤ thought I had a wack collection, until this was posted 😂
Timeless
Holy smokes...!!!!!....wonderful upload... thanks bud
