The lack of cosmetic in this game is holding me back to buying it, it might be stupid but I hate when they instead of add more the actually remove stuff from previous games, like robin has only one playable outfit? Even boa has like only 2

@@RikXtreme4 Yeah, especially since at this point, the season pass came out and it's all just additional characters. Which is nice, but the lack of additional outfits still bothers me. Luffy's got like, 10 different costumes, and I feel like every character that has had that many different costumes in the actual manga/anime should get the same treatment.
@@MoostachedSaiyanPrince , I just wished the all of the Strawhat Pirates had all of their Wano costumes in Pirate Warriors 4 because the Wano Arc had the best costumes next to the Skypia Arc.

The thing that bugs me the most are Zoro's, Nami's and Robin's since these 3 are the ones who have the most wardrobe change.. each and every arch they different outfit..
Just look at Nami for example, East Blue (original), alabasta, ans enies lobby, she has 3 entirely different outfit.. alabasta she wore the dancer outfit, and enies lobby she wore a denim jacket..
Zoro has a lot as well, Drum, Alabasta, Skypiea, Enies lobby, etc..
And Robin as well, She has 2 alabasta, 1 without coat & 1 with, skypiea, foxy, enies lobby, thriller bark, etc..
Why the only character with a lot of outfits is only Luffy?? meanwhile his outfit change are mostly are colour change..
The funny and sad thing is that they had models from this and previous PW games but they just decided to go with the main costumes from the story. Zoro's costume from Enies Lobby is not on the game, while being the main costume for Pre-Timeskip Zoro in the other PW's. Nami FINALLY has her first appearance look and apparently we can't use it for some dumb reason
my question is why are nami, chopper, robin, franky, and brook’s old costumes not playable. like they finally give us nami’s right outfit but it’s not playable? that just doesnt make much sense to me.. and i love robin’s old outfits ;-;
Same for Zoro mate, speaking about his Enies Lobby costume which was playable in the third game

The reason might be because nami doesn't really fight before alabasta so they might have tought why have her east blue costume But it would have been nice if they added it

Honestly, I like the game, but it could be SO much better. They left out a lot of good levels, especially Zou. Like, that would’ve been the perfect way to introduce Carrot and Jack. They also didn’t bring in characters from the previous game?? I don’t understand why not. They reuse a lot of the same moves from the old game, so implementing the old characters shouldn’t have been so hard.
The third and the fourth game have different Engines

Their alabasta outfits should've been their desert outfits. Plus, there are so many notable pre TS outfits.
Zoro's blue tank top in Skypiea? Nami and Chopper's jacket outfits in Enies Lobby? Usopp's anti-ghost outfit in Thriller Bark? Also his Sabaody outfit with the open polo and shorts. Sanji's variation of dress shirts, vests, and coats? (also his ball hat in LRLI)
Hell, you could just give Sanji the shades he wore in the Crocodile Casino and call it Mr. Prince and I would constantly use it.

One Piece: Unlimited World Red has a BUNCH of references to movies (especially strong world)! However, it was made before Dresrossa finished, so no Boundman and everything that came afterwards, sorry...

Such a shame that there is so much content not used but I get that this is mainly an advertisement/way to hold us over while the story either wraps up or gets far enough to make another really in depth game.
All I know is that I can’t wait for the final game that will have everything. All the characters from the entire series, all the arcs and maps and just everything and hopefully the movie characters. I can wait but man this wait is gonna suck cuz I just got the game a few days ago and I love it but I really wanted to play the entire story and have fun what if scenarios for months. But that’ll have to wait till either the next or final installment.
We recently got the Onigashima Law for the new season pass they're doing but god, I wish his Dressrosa outfit had a variant without the hood up. Hope that's something they add in the next game.

i believed eventually they will add the other outfit of PW3 like black suit crocodile? or Empress suit of Boa. In fact i hoped, when Magellan back (when he was a dlc character rumor but he didnt) they put some old costumes. The gameplay is awesome but...the other content is very lack.

For newcomers just so that you don't get exited too quick, half of the characters shown here aren't playable.
So from what i kind gather only the charcters with at least 1 alt costume are playable idk i only got it yester day.

It's good,but it could had been better.
My bigger complains are about Buggy and Teach.Why can't they give Buggy his Marinford costume?And a one power Teach to be the normal version of him,instead of dual power Teach?Other costumes that should be put in the game:-Doflamingo(Marinford);

They couldn't just copy paste characters and their move sets from PW3 to this one, as they've changed how combat in this game works. For instance, now you can jump and attack from the air, whereas in PW3, there were characters that could do that, but it was just part of their ground combos, but every character in PW 4 has both ground and arial combos. Also, the super attacks were replaced by a slightly different system where you can have four abilities/attacks equipped at once and choose to use any one of them by holding R1 and then pressing one of the face buttons with it. They reworked pretty much every characters move set to accommodate this new system.
Wait, those guys were playable in Warriors 3 dang, I would’ve maimed the heck out of God & Clown!

Can someone tell me why Jozu so important I don't recall ever playing with Vista so he is ok but Jozu seems to never go away in One piece games and his attacks are kind of boring.

Mano, uma coisa que eu não gostei é que eu tenho a versão pra Switch, porém tem muitas skins que não tem lá, sendo que comprei a edição deluxe. Além de por exemplo, não dá pra ver o sprite do gear fourth, Kaido dragão ou o Pica como gigante de pedra

this game had so much potential in terms of roster and they just cut majority of the anime lol, like i get it removing some "less relevant" characters but they straight up chopped a lot of major ones like nothing, i really hope they get their shit together in PW5 like they had in PW3

I brought this game 'cause I love OP and because I don't played the prequels. This musou is good, but the lack of content... The better part of Musou for me is new weapons, combos and skins... But there's characters that don't have any skins. It's sad.

Is it just me, or donthe outfits suck in this game? Like, Luffy‘s the only one who‘s got a great set of outfits. Samji and Robin have good outfits as well, but there are still some missing that looked great.

I never played other Pirate Warriors besides this one but I've seen gameplays of the other game and I'm loving the game but I feel cheated out. The lack of story arcs, characters out of the game and costumes that are not used for some reason, like I want to use Pre-Timeskip Nami and Franky but NAH

it's a downgrade only cause some characters got nerfed and some are missing from the last game
As far as gameplay goes, I'd say it's a step up, and that goes double for level design since it feels like you're actually fighting in real places now instead of just mazes of corridors that don't make sense, but it's taken a noticeable hit in two notable areas: cosmetics and replayability. This is all you get for costumes even with DLC and the fun Dream Log mode has been replaced with a series of boring lists where you just pick a fight from the menu.
