Another great MadRam11 video! Is the mid-mounted disk brake used in lieu of front disks mounted at the wheels or in addition to them? I'm guessing the former.
MadRam11 Thanks for the confirmation. While 1 brake eliminates potential brake failures at the wheels, I imagine at some point an enterprising rock bouncer will adapt the 'intelligent' 4 wheel braking systems found on new cars to this sport. For example, in this video, after the contestants cleared the tree they had to take a hard left immediately followed by a hard right. The right turn was so abrupt that most of them had to back up multiple times before they could go forward at the best angle. With intelligent (selective) braking, they could select which wheels spin and which don't (assuming they don't always use spools instead of differentials in the housings) and in that way be able to slide the back end down the hill and into the right position without backing up.
It's been a wile, Thanks !! Things are changing in the sport, they always do after things get bigger. Money, Safety, Ins, Power, I cant be there so i'm just guessing. It's not the same as years past.
I'm a few years late. Just got into watching this style of off-roading. Long question short, how is this a $50K deal? What in the world are the entry fees? The math isn't adding up. I'm not seeing huge outside sponsorship like Red bull or Monster energy drinks. What am I missing?
+MadRam11 "destroyed for entertainment" I didn't say destroyed for necessary things like building houses. anyways no hate, it's not like we can live modern lives without destroying the environment.
You would be amazed how quickly this land will grow back when left alone. How long would it take for the land a football stadium sits on to grow back? These people are enjoying nature not destroying it.
I would like to have seen the hill from other angles but this was cool .
Holy shit man! That wreck around the 11:00 mark was insane!
I agree he didn't care he was still going tough
This is a hard trail...respect 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks, the front disc takes the place of wheel brakes

Thx for watching !)
If I ever made one of these I'd want a Jeep body so it still looked like a Jeep
If you built every piece, would you really want it to look like every one else's? Only if it turned out ugly, lol.
+MaRoder No lol. I'm building a trail rig right now, trying my best to keep it different from everyone else's rigs
Sheet metal or fiberglass on a rock bouncer...gee what could possibly go wrong?
1640 that blue one sounds like it's farting lmao that exhaust sounded horrible
Billy loves bongs Hahaha
i have a scottbuilt ford ranger that would go up that, if you want to see it look at my channel, hint it is small...
Hahaa. Loggin!!!

It's sad seeing those beautiful forests being destroyed for entertainment.
Maybe you would be happier if they cut it down and built a mall or neighborhood. Heck they could event run an interstate through it
