@lueear1 For sure, she's starting in the wool business and unless she outsource her wool from other farmers quantities will always be modest, making every launch a bit of a gamble.
So true! I am tickled that ALL THE WORK put into those Advent Calendars reaped such a reward for your farm! Tremendous effort went into that single product, and I applaud the creativity and all the effort and ideas it took to produce these. I also look at just HOW MUCH WORK went into building the warehouse, figuring out labeling and shipping, getting the wool off the ladies and into many desirable products. For so many farmers, wool is nearly worthless - which I think is a crime because it’s so incredibly useful and has been part of farming and humanity for millennia!
Dear Sandi, Please tell us exactly how many you made and how many hours hours you invested. Perhaps if the return is great enough, next year you can hire part-time help putting them together. High school kids are a great source of pre-holiday help. I had an assembly job in my teens. It helped prepare me for college and made getting jobs after I got my degree a snap because I had a reference letter going back to high school. Sandi I (F) look at your your advent calendar’s as a limited edition, limited quantity, special event. I don’t understand people who think your shop is able to produce tens of thousands to allow every one to get one. The whole idea is to produce quality products using wool produced by your sheep that you design. We literally got to watch you and your friend put them together while you took care of the sheep and helped Mark with harvest. And went down sick. This is what makes them so special It is giving us a little piece of you. I did not even try to get a calendar #1 because I knew they would be gone in minutes. I am thrilled for you that they sold out so quickly. And doubly so that you recorded your reaction because the look on your face gave me joy when you realized how quickly it happened. You can tell in the video that you were just humbled and amazed so many people were on the site looking to purchase. Mark is Right there with you supportive as ever. I hope you never move to mass production to satisfy everyone It will take all of the charm out of it. Those that did not get a Calendar and are angry with you don’t deserve your calendar. That is not what character you display on your channel ❤ Sometimes you just don’t find the Golden ticket❤

i too completely agree. ppl can be disgusting and too get mad at sandi because she can't do the impossible is terribly entitled. ppl have to understand we are talking world wide billions of ppl all having the chance to get a limited number of calendars. when u put it in that perspective its not surprising they sold out in 3 mins. when literally hundreds of thousands were sitting on their computers trying to get one. its like winning the lottery. i'm sure those same ppl don't email the lottery corporations every time their ticket doesn't win. ppl need to grow the heck up. poor sandi spent soooo many hours working on these she's only one dang person even with help it was still a ton of work. congratuations Sandi on a huge success story. we all love ya.
Sandi!! Oh, my heart goes out to you that people were actually mad at you that they couldn't get an Advent Calendar! You told them NOT to be mad you're doing your best. Because of your increase in quantitiies you were able to quadruple the number of people that even got them in the first place. We appreciate you endlessly and love your videos.

I sat there since 3 minutes before then saw a screen flash, reloaded and bought 2 of them IMMEDIATELY!! Glad I already had an account with the site with the right payment method. WOOOO I got lucky. I am working with my bestie to make them. I'll do one, and she'll follow along with me. She had a severe TBI a year and a half ago, and is working to read and write again, as well as re-develop her fine motor skills. So thank you, Sandi, you're helping someone heal!

I have wanted quite a few things from you in the past and was never able to get anything before it sold out, not once did I feel "mad" at you about it. Anyone who shops online should know that limited items go very fast. I didn't even try because I have a feeling that once all the kinks are worked out, there will be more product available. It may not be in the 1st couple of years, but it will eventually happen. If you search history on some of the bigger online stores, you can bet they encountered similar problems. It took me a min and then I shook it off and felt really happy for Sandi. And then I thought I hope I create out of my little brain something so cool that it sells out like that. Without a "pre order" function to see how many people would buy. It's always going to be a guess as to how many to make. Is there enough wool to make 2000+ kits, enough $$ to cover up front costs, add'l labor costs? Something people don't consider when complaining about availability. I think you did a GREAT job working with what you had. I look forward to winter launch!

Ditto! Get a grip people. Do you complain this way to Target or Walmart when they run out of a product? Probably not. Sandi is selling a very unique, artisanal product and there will be a limited number available. It's like buying a painting. Don't complain because Da Vinci only painted one Mona Lisa.
People need to realize that a product requires lots of upfront costs and effort, and the bigger the stock, the more resources it takes. I don't think most are mad; they are just disappointed they didn't get one. Hang in there and keep doing all that you do.
Even so, why would they send her a complaint mail? If they are disappointed that's fine and understandable, what I don't get is putting that negative energy onto Sandi when she did as much as she possibly could. Be disappointed by yourself, maybe start journaling but putting it onto others is just mean and unnecessary.
I would have loved a coffee mug from last launch, and my granddaughters would have loved the calendar… but I got neither and amazing I’m still alive and happy. Complainers, stop looking on the bad side, be happy your alive and able to enjoy this wonderful peak into these amazing peoples lives

Hey, everyone. What? You have people complaining that the calenders sold out in 3 minutes?? You know there are limited supplies of everything. Each item is mostly a "one of a kind" type of thing. Even Amazon runs out of product. Please remember why we come to Sandi's channel. It's to experience her love and compassion, her determination and perserverance, her strength and passion. And we want to support her and celebrate with her. She doesn't need to do the "shop" or any kind of retail products for herself. The ewes and rams don't need her to spend precious time on wool, and packages, and felted cuties, mittens and candlesand learning how to distribute and ship items around the world. She started offering the skeins of wool because we asked her to allow us to share in her business success. We begged her to allow us to use the beautiful wool her sheep produce. We asked and she gifted her time and talents to give us something from the sheep. She has had many sleepless nights, additional worries, new equipement expenses, hell, she and Mark even built a new building to create space to accommodate the products WE asked her for. Golden Girls dont benefit from her being extra tired from spenind days organizing and packageing products for us!! I am furious to think that those who did not get a calendar are being mean and hateful! Obviously, you have not been following Sandi's channel for very long or you would know how hard she has worked to make her viewers happy. Stop acting like spoiled children and Grow up! The rest of us will celebrate Sandi, and her successes. I am going to explain this for some of you. We are in a public setting. Use appropriate manners and treat people how you WANT them to treat you, NOT how they DO treat you. Also, we live in America. I don’t get people who get mad at you if they didn’t get a product the wanted. We literally see you make these things! I didn’t get one though I wanted one, and I thought how great it was that you were able to sell out so quickly - the hard work you put in is worth it.
Next time you might consider taking pre-orders. Like book publishers do. It lets them gage demand for items in advance to either gear up production or warn very early that supplies are limited. These calendars are very specific and seasonal, so if people are prepared we'll in advance that supply can't match demand, there's no need for anger. Limited production of high demand or hight ticket items is just a fact of life. You can have enough money to buy half a dozen latest Lamborghini Revueltos, but there's a waiting list.
@@gregedmand9939 Book sellers are dealing in units of thousands of books, not dozens even before they're wanting ta gauge future sales. It's easy for them to do pre-orders. If Sandi did pre-orders with the limited volume she has/will have, there'd be no point in her promoting an online sale. People would get extremely mad at that, saying she's got favourites.

You have produced a product that more individuals want then the Sandi Company can produce. People love you. They also love your product because it is creative, unique, fun and covers a special holiday. It is not surprising that they sold in 3 minutes. I have competed in a seating at a restaurant that opens their reservations once every 3 months. I have competed in a special wine that is available once a year. The son of one of my faculty while still in high school started selling hats that were specially created for surfers and beach wear. They were artistic, limited to 50 of 5 designs. He sold out in minutes then designed 50 new ones. The designs were never repeated. Enjoy your success you certainly worked hard and brought joy to many.

I was one that got kicked out during checkout too. I was bummed but not mad. I’ll try again next year if they are available. Definitely some glitches, but not your fault. I don’t believe many blinked at the price. I was glad to see it was under $100 USD with shipping included!

Yes, living here in Australia means that there are so many products from overseas that I simply can't afford to get just because shipping is often more expensive than the item itself. Definitely frustrating as a consumer. But sandi is doing great and one day maybe we'll have cheaper shipping options here down under

Please, please know that we love and and appreciate you. My daughter showed me your page in 2020 and I have been hooked since. We watched together until she moved away for college. Our children are close in age! I watch each episode and love the sheep husbandry you share. I am a teacher so my husband was on at 11AM. CST. He was able to put the item in the cart but he was sent to a que (spinning icon) to check out. He was not able to purchase the set. I am not mad, I just want to support you and your family. If EVERYONE who wanted one got one, not as many people would want it. As someone who didn’t get the mugs on the last launch and was disappointed, I was happy to get a calendar. You are a special lady and somehow having a piece of what you created makes viewers feel a special and direct connection. That’s not for you to manage peoples feelings. Mine included. So sorry for your personalizing the disappointment. I would encourage you to feel pride in the accomplishment and the cheer you brought the ones who were able to get one.

I use Shopify regularly and I’ve never had a problem. My details load automatically every time, so I’m not sure why they are having problems unless they have never used Shopify before and if that’s the case it’s not your problem Sandy.😉

I generally don’t make comments on your videos because you have this amazing heart, you do everything in your power to make sure your sheep are happy and comfortable. So true! I am tickled that ALL THE WORK put into those Advent Calendars reaped such a reward for your farm! Tremendous effort went into that single product, and I applaud the creativity and all the effort and ideas it took to produce these. I also look at just HOW MUCH WORK went into building the warehouse, figuring out labeling and shipping, getting the wool off the ladies and into many desirable products. For so many farmers, wool is nearly worthless - which I think is a crime because it’s so incredibly useful and has been part of farming and humanity for millennia!

Dear Sandi, Please tell us exactly how many you made and how many hours hours you invested. Perhaps if the return is great enough, next year you can hire part-time help putting them together. High school kids are a great source of pre-holiday help. I had an assembly job in my teens. It helped prepare me for college and made getting jobs after I got my degree a snap because I had a reference letter going back to high school. Sandi I (F) look at your your advent calendar’s as a limited edition, limited quantity, special event. I don’t understand people who think your shop is able to produce tens of thousands to allow every one to get one. The whole idea is to produce quality products using wool produced by your sheep that you design. We literally got to watch you and your friend put them together while you took care of the sheep and helped Mark with harvest. And went down sick. This is what makes them so special It is giving us a little piece of you. I did not even try to get a calendar #1 because I knew they would be gone in minutes. I am thrilled for you that they sold out so quickly. And doubly so that you recorded your reaction because the look on your face gave me joy when you realized how quickly it happened. You can tell in the video that you were just humbled and amazed so many people were on the site looking to purchase. Mark is Right there with you supportive as ever. I hope you never move to mass production to satisfy everyone It will take all of the charm out of it. Those that did not get a Calendar and are angry with you don’t deserve your calendar. Anyone who shops online should know that limited items go very fast. I didn't even try because I have a feeling that once all the kinks are worked out, there will be more product available. It may not be in the 1st couple of years, but it will eventually happen. If you search history on some of the bigger online stores, you can bet they encountered similar problems.

Ditto! Get a grip people. Do you complain this way to Target or Walmart when they run out of a product? Probably not. Sandi is selling a very unique, artisanal product and there will be a limited number available. It's like buying a painting. Don't complain because Da Vinci only painted one Mona Lisa.
People need to realize that a product requires lots of upfront costs and effort, and the bigger the stock, the more resources it takes. I don't think most are mad; they are just disappointed they didn't get one. Hang in there and keep doing all that you do.
Even so, why would they send her a complaint mail? If they are disappointed that's fine and understandable, what I don't get is putting that negative energy onto Sandi when she did as much as she possibly could. Be disappointed by yourself, maybe start journaling but putting it onto others is just mean and unnecessary.

Hey, everyone. What? You have people complaining that the calenders sold out in 3 minutes?? You know there are limited supplies of everything. Each item is mostly a "one of a kind" type of thing. Even Amazon runs out of product. Please remember why we come to Sandi's channel. It's to experience her love and compassion, her determination and perserverance, her strength and passion. And we want to support her and celebrate with her. She doesn't need to do the "shop" or any kind of retail products for herself. The ewes and rams don't need her to spend precious time on wool, and packages, and felted cuties, mittens and candlesand learning how to distribute and ship items around the world. She started offering the skeins of wool because we asked her to allow us to share in her business success. We begged her to allow us to use the beautiful wool her sheep produce. We asked and she gifted her time and talents to give us something from the sheep. She has had many sleepless nights, additional worries, new equipement expenses, hell, she and Mark even built a new building to create space to accommodate the products WE asked her for. Golden Girls dont benefit from her being extra tired from spenind days organizing and packageing products for us!! I am furious to think that those who did not get a calendar are being mean and hateful! Obviously, you have not been following Sandi's channel for very long or you would know how hard she has worked to make her viewers happy. Stop acting like spoiled children and Grow up! I don’t get people who get mad at you if they didn’t get a product the wanted. We literally see you make these things! I didn’t get one though I wanted one, and I thought how great it was that you were able to sell out so quickly - the hard work you put in is worth it.
Next time you might consider taking pre-orders. Like book publishers do. It lets them gage demand for items in advance to either gear up production or warn very early that supplies are limited. These calendars are very specific and seasonal, so if people are prepared we'll in advance that supply can't match demand, there's no need for anger. Limited production of high demand or hight ticket items is just a fact of life. You can have enough money to buy half a dozen latest Lamborghini Revueltos, but there's a waiting list.
@@gregedmand9939 Book sellers are dealing in units of thousands of books, not dozens even before they're wanting ta gauge future sales. It's easy for them to do pre-orders. If Sandi did pre-orders with the limited volume she has/will have, there'd be no point in her promoting an online sale. People would get extremely mad at that, saying she's got favourites.
Sandi, you have 1.17 million subscribers there is no way on Gods earth that you are going to be able to supply every one that wants something. Well done for selling out and well done for getting one if you managed it. 😀🇬🇧

Even if you never did any more merch, we would all still love you for the joy you bring into our lives. I usually set an alarm at 10 minutes before, and I go where my phone has the best signal and right when it drops I get it asap and keep my fingers crossed. It worked out for me this time. I'm excited to see what the rest of the launch will bring later on in November ^^ Just keep trying!!

Don't let it get you down. I was one who hesitated so I did not get an advent calendar, my bad. You're an amazing person who cares very deeply about what you do and your customers. I support you totally. There are those who will be ugly, those who do not have a sense of reality. That's on them, NOT YOU. Keep up what you are doing. You have produced a product that more individuals want then the Sandi Company can produce. People love you. They also love your product because it is creative, unique, fun and covers a special holiday. It is not surprising that they sold in 3 minutes. I have competed in a seating at a restaurant that opens their reservations once every 3 months. I have competed in a special wine that is available once a year. The son of one of my faculty while still in high school started selling hats that were specially created for surfers and beach wear. They were artistic, limited to 50 of 5 designs. He sold out in minutes then designed 50 new ones. The designs were never repeated. Enjoy your success you certainly worked hard and brought joy to many.

I made it to checkout for your launch but others got there quicker! Please don't feel bad for not having enough for everyone. You put so much work into each one, and I thought your price was very reasonable - I was expecting to have to pay twice that much. I was one that got kicked out during checkout too. I was bummed but not mad. I’ll try again next year if they are available. Definitely some glitches, but not your fault. I don’t believe many blinked at the price. I was glad to see it was under $100 USD with shipping included!

Yes, living here in Australia means that there are so many products from overseas that I simply can't afford to get just because shipping is often more expensive than the item itself. Definitely frustrating as a consumer. But sandi is doing great and one day maybe we'll have cheaper shipping options here down under
Sandi. There is always going to be people that get mad that they don’t get the things they want. That’s a part of life. I would love for you to see it on the bright side. You made four times more than last year. And had higher shipping costs. But the fans that love you and wants you to succeed with everything you do came though in you sold out in 3 min. Please, please know that we love and and appreciate you. My daughter showed me your page in 2020 and I have been hooked since. We watched together until she moved away for college. Our children are close in age! I watch each episode and love the sheep husbandry you share. I am a teacher so my husband was on at 11AM. CST. He was able to put the item in the cart but he was sent to a que (spinning icon) to check out. He was not able to purchase the set. I am not mad, I just want to support you and your family. I am a crafty girl and hard to buy for so my husband tried. We will try again. Stay strong and don't let the angry entitled people get you down. Sending our Love from Kansas USA.

Sandi. Small consolations. But listen. Demand vs supply is a thing. Part of the “excitement” and the other side “disappointment” is will I get one. If EVERYONE who wanted one got one, not as many people would want it. As someone who didn’t get the mugs on the last launch and was disappointed, I was happy to get a calendar. You are a special lady and somehow having a piece of what you created makes viewers feel a special and direct connection. That’s not for you to manage peoples feelings. Mine included.
So sorry for your personalizing the disappointment. I would encourage you to feel pride in the accomplishment and the cheer you brought the ones who were able to get one.

Whoo hoo! SOLD OUT!🎉 I remembered the morning of the sale and then got into sh*t and forgot, by the time I remembered I was, ‘oh,well maybe next time’. It’s a limited edition and nobody should be surprised if they don’t get one! But it shows how many people are invested in her content videos and are on board with supporting her channel and merchandise…we should be proud of her……remember people, this is a small side business complimentary to her sheep farming which is the real commitment.
Show support instead of complaining about a missed opportunity….it’s not like she sits on her butt all day…..busiest person I’ve ever seen!❤❤❤ And shipping is expensive everywhere, and has been for quite some time now, if you really want it then you know what to expect from shipping costs….this isn’t new news people!

I use Shopify regularly and I’ve never had a problem. My details load automatically every time, so I’m not sure why they are having problems unless they have never used Shopify before and if that’s the case it’s not your problem Sandy.😉

I just feel bad that you have had such a terrible week. You started off on such a happy note with everyone loving your advent calendar, but then it all went bad with the terrible doctor you had to deal with and then losing your beloved Ruby Sue and other lamb. I set reminders so I could get onto your shop asap when the Event Calendars dropped. I managed to grab one this year!! Yaaay!!! I generally don’t make comments on your videos because you have this amazing heart, you do everything in your power to make sure your sheep are happy and comfortable. Only selfish, rude people will make derogatory comments when they don’t get their way, whether it’s making a purchase or watching your videos. YOU are my HERO! Farming is not an easy job, there are good days and really bad days! I have not purchased anything yet, I do want a shirt with your logo which will be sometime in the future.
