- With only 4 days left before our official due date, this sheep farmer got a wee bit overconfident.
I was SURE we would make it to the finish line with these ladies... we DID however get close.
But sometimes, if there are issues... a mama may just lamb early.
In this case, we had two healthy lambs and two mummified ones.
The launch is finally slowing down, and we've caught up on packing up all your orders!!

Hi Sandi. Maybe put a disclaimer on your website to let everyone know that your sheep’s welfare comes first so orders will be fulfilled when they make it feasible. The little mamma’s make the rules😂

Sandi, please please don't feel like you have to justify or prove yourself. 99.9% of us would never question your stock and that you have what you say you have. Also learning demand of your customer base is HARD and even when you think you've nailed it, it will change from drop to drop. You're doing a great job.

If you have a migraine that long please see a doctor. A dear friend of my family had a blood clot that turned into a bad headache and she ended up in hospital. It could just be stress but please look after yourself, the ladies need you!
Some of us are just unlucky… I had one for 6 weeks (my average is 10 days)… no cause was discovered. Sucked SO MUCH

Hi Sandi....as a 70 year old I have lived my life "having to get things done," totally disregarding my body telling me to slow down...I am now "slowed right down" due to health issues that would not be here had I listened to my body... ( my mom was like that as well)... as difficult as it is to lightened your load, I wish I had done exactly that...just passing on my 2 cents...love your show...wishing you love, health and happiness
Me too, always worked 2 and 3 jobs at tge same time, and always took care of others now it's all caught up.
Me,too trying to recover from gallbladder surgery ,and my right knee acting up ,doing PT for that .don't like the therapist ,she's kind of rude,not very attentive .
Me too! It took multiple spinal cord injuries, a brain injury, breast cancer and endometrial cancer ,bacterial meningitis and a host of other life threatening health issues and complications that left me disabled to force me to slow down. 13years after I discovered the first breast cancer I discovered2 lumps in my left on just recently and I have been getting mammograms every six months and later years ever since the first year I was diagnosed in 2011. I go next week to hear my treatment options. It's not going to stop me from living my life and being here for my daughter and husband.
And...as a 75 yo, I've seen a lot of hard working women....but honestly have NEVER seen anyone push themselves to the limit as you do. Orchid2223 gave some pretty good advice...slow it down now, before your body does it for you....because there are too many women now who wished they've listened sooner. I'm one of them. But I'm happy lambing has started. You become so animated..its the boost you needed. 😃

My daughter has her own vet hospital in Texas and she started out as a vet tech! Good luck to you in your studies. You can go so far! I never imagined my daughter having her own vet hospital, but she’s quite business savvy and I’ll be darned if she didn’t make it happen.

Sandi ! ! ! I am so proud of you. I truly, truly am. You are being your unique self to the full extent and you take us along for the ride ! And what a ride it has been. I love it when you talk to us through your camera. I feel like "I'm doing chores with Sandy - greeting new lambs, feeding, and helping to clean up. Whatever it takes to get the job done. " I'm sorry I am not with you in person but I am with you in spirit and I try to help that way. I have never told you but I am a 79 year old retired Lutheran minister who will be 80 in June and I am just shell shocked by that fact. I was raised on a dairy farm in central Minnesota. Just this week we were talking in Bible Class about family and working together on our farms. My sister and I attend the same church. I said, "My father had a heart attack at age 50 so my sister and I had to take over some work in the hay field. Dad was to drive the machinery and my sister and I built the haystacks." The ladies just looked at us and finally one asked - "how do you build a haystack." "Well, you start with rectangular bales that weigh less then 100 pounds and you lay them on their side. You had to built a foundation. We couldn't lift bales that weighed 100 pounds - consistently - so adjustments had to be made." My sister and I took great pleasure in having this responsibility. We really enjoyed our Sunday morning trips to church and driving by haystacks that the neighbor boys had built and they started falling apart during the winter. These haystacks were long and narrow. My sister had to build the top by slanting the bales. The whole idea was to lay down the hay bales so inside the stack would never get wet from rain and snow. The hay stacks served another purpose - we learned to parallel park next the them ! Well, I had to build something else this winter and I was totally mesmerized by it. I offered to build an hour long presentation on my 8th generation great grandmother who was hung at the Salem Witch Trials in 1692. I had been aware of this event but I knew nothing about it. I lacked the vocabulary to even talk about it. So starting in January to May I did nothing but read and write anything I could lay my hands on about the Trials. There has been a monumental amount of analysis on what happened during that time and it may never be fully understood. Grandma was hung 332 years ago and I feel like we know each other. So, I presented at 3 different events. I was video taped and will put it on You Tube. So then Sandi you can see who vicariously helps you with chores ! My grandmother was described as being short and well endowed. The apple doesn't fall to far from the tree. The Salem Witch Trials should be on You Tube soon if not already. I'm thinking about preparing something else

3D printing is great for prototypes, oddball one offs and fun little trinkets, but it is way too slow to produce merchandise for broad distribution/sale.

I think you're doing great! Don't beat yourself up about the launches. You're doing what you can. I'm also a childhood cancer mom so definitely adding Kayla, Keaton and family to my prayers. My daughter Bekah passed in 2012 after a short battle with Ovarian Cancer. She was 14. Lots of love to you and how it affects you. It does that to me to and I'm 12 years into this life. It stays with you. ❤❤

😅 I heard Sandi say “ruminate” and I turned to my husband and said, “Sheep are ruminants, which means they have a 4-chambered stomach and chew their cud, like cows and our deer [we have a herd of deer that lay in our garden every afternoon to chew their cud], and giraffes, which is weird because it’s hard to imagine a giraffe getting its cud back up its neck but it’s true….Anyway, the word ‘ruminate’ derives from the word ‘ruminant’ - although now that I think about it, they both probably derive from the Latin that the Order or Class of ruminants is named - …anywho…it just shows how connected she is to her sheep that she uses the word that most describes their activity. It’s so sweet.”

I hope you feel better soon! I had pneumonia last winter in sunny Phoenix, Arizona! It felt like it lasted forever. Sending imaginary chicken soup and real prayers for your quick and total recovery!❤
I’ve had pneumonia. You may be better soon (and I hope so!) but you will feel wiped out for months. Please be gentle with yourself. You will be stunned at how long it takes for your lungs to fully heal and start to send oxygen throughout your body in good fashion. Easy does it. Don’t take on too much.

I hope that gives people some empathy when they're mad that they didn't get an item from the launch or that it takes a lot of time for your family to pack and ship everything. Sandi, After 79 years of care giving and working hard I have come to a position of stillness and having to wait till my very broken body heals. I know I’ll never be the Energy level I use to be, but getting my body rebuilt is my focus for now. Take care of Sandi and perhaps a re- evaluation of life will need to be. Sometimes taking a hour or half-hour even to rest each afternoon is a good thing. God created our bodies and we need to be good Stewart’s of them! Praying you will soon be feeling much better! That was awesome that the babies waited so long to be born. Last time they were coming early and fast and furious. We just love your loving and caring for your sheep, us and family and friends. I just love Christmas too. Mark made such cute Christmas 3 D decorations. When I saw the snowman I just went awww. I didn't realize there was so much work in ordering, packing and shipping merch. You sell out because we associate your merch with live and sweetness. I'm glad that loooong migrane is gone. I have been having Vertigo for a week and a half so far. I only had two days of feeling like the whole world is violently spinning and the throwing up. Now I'm just dizzy and trying to move slowly. The new Mom with her adorable babies are so cute. She is doing so good. You are the best sheep farmer. Plus all the things you do on a daily basis puts us to shame. I'm so glad I found you years ago. Your vligs just fill me up with what I need.
Thankfully only had vertigo once hit me like a lightning bolt in the middle of the day ended up going to emergency room thought maybe I was having a stroke they gave me an injection and 2 meds to take home I do understand maybe talk to your doctor

Her other books are The Vagina Bible and Blood (great for starting conversations with your daughters). She also has a podcast & I've seen her on talk shows & a TED talk. So refreshing to hear words of wisdom from someone who is living the walk.

I consider myself a huge supporter of you and your videos. I don’t order merch and probably won’t ever simply because I’m 77 years old and figuring how to order and doing it quickly is beyond my computer knowledge. Just know that I admire you and love your videos. Keep up the good work and just ignore people who are negative.
