Nice to see you doing what I often do. Tight spaces, a lot to watch out not damage anything, people walking behind the machine, trees scraping paint, slow operation, marked and unmarked cables but finally got things done.
Thanks for your enthusiasm!🙏🤗 It is fun to do stuff like this now and then, but I always remember why I chose to aim for larger machines..😅 I like it simple, to find unexpected stuff underground while minding all surroundings feels stressful for me over time..😄 I really appreciate your feedback!🙏
Viewed 7-20-21 4;30 pm USA, Hey Bernard, noticed the house has a crop of grass on the roof. What is thinking about that concept ? I would think winter snow would overload the roof rafters !! :-)
Hi Arza!🙋♂️ Well, this is a common way of building timber cottages! The logs depends on a heavy roof, so that they are pushed down by the roof to reduce leaks of heat from inside!😋 When a house or cottage are built like this with logs, they often sink down with about 25 cm(10 inches) during the first year! All doors and windows must have a large gap when new, otherwise they will be crushed when the logs settles down! This is a very solid way to build a house or cottage, roofs like this can stand more downforce than a regular roof!🙂
maybe you could go to work for HEDBLOM in Sweden, they do a lot of landscaping! also watching road grading in brazil, so far i haven't seen a single rock, just red dirt, you must get tired of rock rock rock! thanks for the videos, appreciate your effort
Hi!🙋♂️ Hehe, it would have been fun to work with Hedblom, but they seem to manage perfectly on their own!😄 If I wanted to do this kind of jobs daily, I would have several opportunities to change arenas as we speak!😉🙃 My family has tried for years now, to make me start for them, and there are other companies that I am pretty sure that I would be able to be employed very fast.😅 I started out as a landscaper back in ‘98, as a “hand guy” on regular basis..🙂 I got my first machine in that same company in ‘01, and was doing these kind of jobs on my own all along until I got tired of moving around so often..🤪 There was also all these challenges that always appears, like unmarked ground cables and other stuff in the ground that always makes the job complicated..😝😂 I finally got assigned to a 40 ton machine in 2008, and have never gone down in size regularly since that!😋 Rock loading is not boring, but a task that I feel that I have good control over!🤩 I rarely find challenges in piles that I’m not familiar with, and I really find comfort in knowing what I’m up against! Thanks for watching this stuff as well!🙏 I think jobs like this is fun for a short while, but I always miss swinging the large bucket of the 390 when I’m in smaller machines!😅
Good to see an operator know when it's time for hand work.
Thank you!🙏😄
With miniexc the operator steps down to earth many times as the work is often quite delicate
