I'm guessing Efren is fully retired and no longer competes.
I caught him in a pool hall in Denton, TX a couple months ago. I don't know why he was there, but he did play a 9-ball race to 9 with the bartender.

Hate to be a negative nelly, but here I go. At 1:35, apparently "speed control is key". On this shot!!?? Yeah...nahh.
Very key... If you hit it at speed, there's a higher chance of not getting the combo right.
It looked like she played a safe shot and it ended to be a combo/fluke on the 9 ball.
I agree but she said because of the tightness of the pockets. Hit it too firm, and the pocket will rattle it. Slow roll it, and miss, and it will be right there for the opponent to hit an easy 2-9 to win
I really wish these videos didn't put terrible music in all of them.
