I mean he's always respectful for other people's games. Everyone else who played mark almost had silent games. Dave gets on the board and they start to clown him.
I like that Mark plays my opening--the Nimzovich Defense to 1.e4. Recommendation: In the concluding analysis there should be some mention about the end position and why Dave was, more or less, talked into resigning. It isn't going to be clear why the game is lost.
The only thing with Dave's game that struck me a little off was bringing his king up into the battle.... Something about it seemed too risky, any thoughts guys?
Yeah, I knew that the moment when Mark played f5 it was going to be the pivotal moment. e x f6 e.p. was a better choice for white but Dave went with g5. Still, the pawn advances on the kingside were questionable at best. And all trades favored black. White never got any piece play.
amongst the common players (e.g., butcher, dave, the brian hooded guy, and carlini) what is the ranking from best to worst? i've watched a bunch of games but have no clue.
Chris Tanner. They’re pretty much on the same level but imo Butcher is the best. From those you mentioned I would say 1. Butcher 2. Carlini (only because he’s usually playing better against Dave but they have different playstyles.) 3. Dave. Can’t comment on Brian as I’ve barely watched any videos of him.
To beat this guy, dont play his game, he likes to close things up, go for exchanges, build up slowly... typical old school chess... Go for sharp lines ... make him think, put him on the defensive even if its a bluff... he wont move that fast if u force him to think... i see him hesitate in sharp lines, even with the advantage he tends to choose safe lines... Thats how u beat old timers.
Mark aside, i think the butcher is around 2000, the other 1850. Can't see them at 2000 with such bad placings of their pieces (except Butcher), in the opening they always make basics mistakes. Same in the finals, they could learn a LOT in just few hours opening a chess book! (i don't say it with malice or anything, just observation) (and BTW, i see Mark more of a 2200, maybe is FIDE elo is old. Or he's just playing total chill and not at 100%)
Buddy came through and beat the whole crew 😂😂
1:38 the look Duck gave the camera hahaha
that evil smirk on mark's face!!!! that is i think the first time he smiled.
ive noticed dave never exhales the smoke
@@ijustwanttocommentfugoogle3839 no the smoke is made of Dave's mustache
He also apparently likes to smoke the filter too. I just kept thinking... Put the damn thing out Dave! Drove me crazy. Lol.
see him now in 2020 he aged fast. he has more white hair
I’m loving these FM Mark games. Keep em coming!
When he starts slamming his pieces and the clock, too funny 😆
1:38 **Record scratch** **Freeze frame** "You probably wonder how I ended up in this situation"
Time to bring the big guns out....
GM Lazer
hahahahhahahaha. Was expecting you to say Butcher
Dave is smoking the filter xd
its so passive but effective, makes it look so simple
Dave needs to relax so angry .
Mark is easily grinding all of them :( Thanks for the Dave game!
Dave is such a baby. Everybody needs to be completely silent during his CASUAL game. And no, it was not "holding".
I mean he's always respectful for other people's games. Everyone else who played mark almost had silent games. Dave gets on the board and they start to clown him.
Imagine if this FIDE master trash talks.
This is why in Russian school of chess learning chess starts with learning the end game :)

His clock flagged, he wasn't talked into resigning.
It was time.
Dave with his little bangles on his arm bless him, shame his anger management isn't as feminine
The only thing with Dave's game that struck me a little off was bringing his king up into the battle.... Something about it seemed too risky, any thoughts guys?
I could just
Imagine what the GMs would do to them. Gg Brooklyn Dave
Took Dave forever to start pushing the kingside pawns to breakthrough he had a double rook and queen battery but he’s playing on the queenside 🥴
Someone needs to buy him another cig. Nvm a coffee
Mark the silent terminator.
Why did the fide castle king's sixde?
B/c Dave's pawns blocked all possible attack
_ Camel king size ? _ No, castle king side ...
Dave needs to quit smoking.. Filters that is 😂

Dude Dave needs to step away from the board he's so pissed off.
I thought both players were too slow in taking real estate with their pawns in the early game. FIDE man again too cool for school in the end.
Why should we take particular notice of your thoughts. You ranked 2200 or above? A chess professional tutor?

Hey droceretik
Butcher vs. Mark, make it happen!

Why did he resign? Out of time?

The final position isn't "holding", Black has ...Bc2 and will nab the Rook for free.
Someone should've told Lazer to shut the hell up! Geez
Is Daves hair color natural?
relevance?
Mark must be 2200 usfc and all the other are close to 2000.
