Personally I transition to raw by feeding cooked and then on a daily or weekly basis, slowly lower the cooking temp until you don't cook it at all.

raw meaty bones aren't added to my dogs diet. they are my dogs entire diet. I also eat only meat. I don't eat bones. I do eat the meat mostly raw.
