Honestly, yeah, her kit could have been better. I would propose a system where, in contrast to normal bursts, Ei can activate the burst even with at least 15 energy out of a limit of 45, and she loses 5 energy every 2 seconds the blade is active while in combat, plus 5 extra ticks from a full Resolve meter, for a total of 20 seconds, during which more energy and Resolve can be acquired through landing attacks in an identical fashion to how Weekly Boss Shogun gains her super form quicker by damaging you. Out of combat, the energy does not diminish for the sole purpose of being able to look cool with the sword. This change to her kit would help keep the previous idea of patience, waiting not just for the burst to be available but for the Resolve meter to fill, while making Ei a lot more canon-accurate

@@ppro_gamer7 you mean his story quest? Because in that instance you had the rest of your party. However, here, you can only play as Ei, and she, story wise, does not lose even once. Another instance is Wanderer's trial at the end of the sumeru interlude quest
