Hi guys! In this video, I'm roleplaying as Miss Honey from Matilda! I've actually received a fair number of comments on my book related videos comparing me to her, which is... so flattering haha. Here's hoping I did her justice!
It's also been like... 15 years since I've seen the movie or read the book, so forgive any canonical errors. :)

Sarah would you please consider doing a bedtime story reading for us? You know .... old-school kids fairytales, Cinderella, Rapunzel etc etc? I love these stories but I've never had anybody read to me at bed time ever in my life. I'd really really appreciate if you did. Thank you. Love.

Your teacher vibe is always on point but my goodness Miss Honey is a perfect fit and the sort of teacher I think we all wanted.
I had an amazing English teacher in HS who introduced me to Dickens, Hardy, and other Victorian authors. This was her area of expertise.

Matilda was one of my all time favourite books/movies when I was a kid. I only wish I had a child of my own to pass it on to them, maybe one day lol.

What a great video yet again Sarah! The nostalgia of reading Matilda and watching the movie has come back to me because of this video. The older I get and the more I revisit the movie, the more I realize that it’s a good thing Matilda was a good kid and had a teacher like Ms. Honey because if I was in her situation and I got superpowers, I would’ve gone full supervillain. Like I know the movie is already kinda dark but it could’ve been MUCH darker

Wow not only are your medical roleplays are incredibly believable but now u can add teacher to that list as well i thought ms honey was the best teacher from any movie i saw as a kid also side note if you haven't alreay may i suggest you watch movie called gifted from 2017 i just saw it last year and felt like it had an adult version Matilda feel to it i think you might like it
