The “taking care of your injury” section was amazing, the whole video was, use different settings to do a roleplay like this one, hiking, you could do a helpful neighbour one, a kid hurts itself but parents aren’t home so you take care of the kid and many more different scenarios like this.

I have that magnet on my fridge. Do something that scares you everyday. Same here, seems like a lot everyday but I’ve found that the scariest things are the things we have to do. Love the kindness of taking care of the injury and talking like friends… I forgot as I’ve gotten older how much harder it is to have friends/make them at least for me…

Being in a new town with nothing I am used to like the beach, ocean trails, dog parks, my friends is hard… if you are still in Mexico I’m sure the culture and language barrier can be difficult as well adding to it making harder to make friends

I’ve been suffering from sleep deprivation for weeks, and on Saturday I was just lying there trying to get at least some nap. Then I clicked on this video and all I could feel was peace and warmth….the next thing I knew? 4 hours of power nap. There’s even no headache following this as I usually do. Lots of thanks girl! The relaxed but engaging conversation is so perfect for distracting me from anxious thoughts. And the crickets and fire crackling, just chefs kiss. I'm also a camping gear geek : ) I would really love it if you started a series out of this roleplay 💚🌈

This is a jarringly lifelike situation. My apartment doesn't have central heating ... I do have a very old dehumidifier that overheats after 5 minutes of being turned on, but that's not the same thing. So if death takes me this winter, the consolation I hope for is that a friend comes along who can at least make sure my last days are bearable, i.e. making sure I don't bump my head on things. It'll be like camping, but inside.

Great video, I really love it! But I do have to say: 100 pounds of weight difference don't matter in belaying? 😮 I've had a girl belay me once who weighed like 40 pounds less than me and we forgot to put in our Ohm and she was struggling like crazy when she let me down after I'd clipped the anchor. It's a good thing I didn't take a lead fall on that one. 😅
Thank you! :) Weird! I belay my partner who is 50/60 pounds heavier than me every time we climb with no problems. To be fair, I haven't had to deal with any intense, unexpected lead falls. But in this video, the viewer would just be top-roping, since they're a newbie :) and I've belayed people top-roping easily over 100 lbs heavier than me! edit: oh and I usually use a grigri! which makes it easier
