T15 is a great grandstand. When we go we make sure we are somewhere between halfway and the top. You can see so much of the track from T15. So long as your above the fence line pretty much anywhere is decent there.

I prefer section 18 over the lower number sections! The audio is much better because the sound bounces off the back wall so you end up hearing a lot more of the commentators
Thank you! We are in New Zealand and considering going to COTA in 2024 with an F1 Experiences ticket that includes the T15 grandstand. Seats will apparently be in the "middle rows". When you were videoing from each row I presume you were standing rather than sitting? Thanks

That sounds so much fun! Any section of turn 15 is good! I think somewhere between 8-14 would be ideal but the more important thing to consider is the row. The higher row, the better the view. The seat prices do reflect this.
Do you know if there was a local radio broadcast of the race? I'm going this week to the MotoGP race and was curious if I need a radio or if the local PA was good enough to hear the race. I love the video, I just happened to get Section 15 for my first COTA race!
Don't waste your time or money with the radio broadcast.. Local PA in section 15 is great! (Other grandstands not so great.) Hope you have a fun motoGP weekend!
Somewhere around $500 for the weekend ticket for one of us. But parking is where they get you... If there is any way possible, try arranging a motorcycle because transportation in a car to and from COTA is a nightmare. I had a motorcycle and paid $40 (vs $300) for parking and didnt have to spend hours in traffic.
I went in 2022. There might be a line, there usually is, but you just pay an entry fee ( Around $20?) and up you go. They have certain times of the day when there's something happening at the tower so there will be a ton of people there.
Yes! Turn 12 you're just getting hit in the face by the sun. Turn 15 you see all turns 12-15 but the sun is behind you. Much nicer. And it's a closer walk from the entrance. 😊
I agree! when i was picking out tickets (without knowing what it would look like) i was just so afraid that the higher seats wouldnt be close enough to the action. Now that I know, I def want to sit in a row on the top half of the grandstands

No shade but you're not looking directly into the sun (like section 12)

I think top grandstands section 1 or two would be great. I was row 5 section 2 and the view was great but I think I'd go higher next year if I could.
