I had a Fusion in 2008, I took a shower on the 3rd day, I drove 2 weeks afterwards. I was home alone 90% of the time so I had to do things for myself.

You are such a blessing, I'm going in for back surgery in 1 week, and I'm so worried about coming home and being on my own. Thanks for a ton of great things to do or buy to help with post surgery.

Thank you soooo much for your videos. I have surgery for L3 - S1 in 6 weeks and your videos are the clearest and most comprehensive of the many I have been viewing. Your presentation is amazing and I really appreciate the additional women’s point of view. Glad to see your amazing recovery immedtiate post-op, few weeks and few months, as well as 2 years in your other videos. They are all so helpful and I wish you the best of continued good health. I can’t thank you enough! ❤❤❤❤❤

How are you doing since your 3 level fusion surgery?
I’m going for the same surgery as you in 2 months and looking for testimonials.

So true about to be discharged from hospital after L3 - L5 back fusion the worst part is learning how to walk again.

Practice getting up from bed without bending your back. You must slide or roll and swivel your feet to the floor and then bend you knees. This is very important as you wint be able to bend normally after surgery. Practice sitting up from a chair as well or eating from a coffee table and kneeling in front of it. This is much easier on the back because you can keep it straight.

I had my neck fused, everyone is different but I want you to know my experience was no pain, just total relief afterwards. I am now about to get L4-5 fused next week, I am scared but after having a couple experiences when I could not walk for a week at a time and ending up in the ER, I am ready to get better.

You do not want to ice for more than 20 minutes at a time!! serious necrosis of tissue can occur!

The constant ice machine isn't ice cold. It is meant to just be cool without burning.
