I own two American made Breedloves. Absolutely love them. I own a pursuit (Chinese) model as well. I am about to pull the trigger on one of these. Thank you for your review
"Designed in Bend, Oregon and crafted in China" is the way Breedlove rocks. The craftsmen ship the completed guitar back to Bend, where every guitar goes through a final setup and inspection before being shipped out to dealers. I was impressed with Breedlove's straight-pull headstock(s) so I bought a blowout priced Pursuit Exotic Concert E Sitka/Koa in 2020, then in early 2022, a number of B-stock demo Jeff Bridges signature and non-signature (same specs but for the name, inlays, and gig bag) guitars appeared on the market, so I bought a non-signed version given to my SIL for last Christmas, which was a more open finish and we were both wowed by the warm, open and inviting tones it produced. Naturally, I had to pick up the B-stock demo signature model from Nate Burkhart, my Sweetwater Sales Engineer, and it seemed to have more of a gloss finish (similar to the Pursuit Concert), and will likely take more time to open up in comparison to the similar guitar of my Son In Law. I just printed the Guitar Portrait from the Breedlove website, which provides all the specs. Thank you, Shawn. (Fretboard Inlay and Logo Plastic; Nut/ Saddle Bone [[ China) Incredible price points for an all-solid wood guitar! These will likely be restrung with Santa Cruz Parabolic Tension strings from Sant Cruz Guitar Co. well before the Elixirs wear out, since we've been impressed with the intro set I gave to a fellow tech team member, who installed them on his Taylor 814c. Santa Cruz Guitar Co. spent ten years of R&D to produce these strings, individually EQ'd so each string rings out distinct from the others. Last weekend, he told me he'd found the Santa Cruz mediums (for his dreadnoughts) on Amazon, but ordering from SCGC was cheaper and he's developing a relationship with the company. (The set of light Parabolic Tension strings that I saved for my Cole Clark Angel out of the intro offer set of three, means that I'll be ordering more...)
Yesterday I purchased the Discovery S Concert CE Edgeburst African Mahogany Breedlove from Sweetwater. I sprang for the plek set-up. I cannot wait to get my hands on it. I pick them up all the time in my 2 local stores. It was a contest between this and a Seagull. but price point and "BANG FOR THE BUCK" won out. This is actually the best vid I have watched on Breedlove yet. Thank you for a good production.
@@ShawnPerryOfficial the guitar arrived and sounds and plays awesome. I don’t know how much the plek changed it but it’s amazing action. I’m a little upset with Sweetwater as the fret bottoms are still sharp and it’s supposedly finish checked. I have spoken to two people. One said I would get 100 back so that could take it locally to have done. Yet no $ back yet.
Be careful w that African Ebony. Extremely extremely susceptible to humidification damage. I had a $2300 Taylor made of African Ebony and it split wide open overnight. Same happened to my uncle with a different African Ebony guitar. Esp one with no gloss on the back.
Yellow bellied or hoary? I've seen marmots on sand beaches of the islands in Prince William Sound, Alaska, and across Idaho and Montana. It would not surprise me to find one taking refuge in the Breedlove Shipping Dept., UPS or FedEx.
jeff bridges was good in star man a pretty good actor, dont know why he would need a signature guitar tho. And his name on the frett board,,,no like,,,,ICK
Its not his name it says (All in this Together) ...while I don't know the full story on it , It benefits rainforest conservations ...I don't know if Jeff Bridges is directly involved with the charity or he just works with them and donates. Like I said i'm not tally sold on the inlay itself. I like the meaning behind it. and the guitar was on wicked sale...so I grabbed it!
I appreciate the contribution to the conservation org but never in Hell would I buy a guitar with a message written on it. I don't need to be preached at. Way too woke for me.
Thanks for demo and information. I just bought one while watching your video.

Awesome man, thanks so much for the info on the guitar
Not all are from China. Legacy, premier, Oregon series, and the custom master are made in the US

Great video I just picked one of these up myself. You have a new subscriber, keep up the god work.
Excellent. I just got one!
Good choice!

If you open the box before 24 hours have passed a marmot will jump out.
...I see that as a feature, not a problem ;)

He has a new hit show where he is a retired assassin, and he is a guitar player with a band...like the earth?
