this is the SECOND guy to come on the show the same year as louis and say they could’ve had 1D success and i completely understand where they’re coming from. However, i don’t think they understand that just being given a slot on the x-factor guarantees success. the boys were just the total package at that time for music, they had the voice, the charm and the looks. i also think bringing up 1D doesn’t help their case, it just sets a standard for them to now out perform 1D to prove their point... they are just setting themselves up for failure

That is true. But Liam Payne did try for the second time on the X Factor and look at him now. Jade thirwall too! She tried out 3 times for the x factor. She won it with her girlband and is now in the most successful girlband atm
That would be kinda frustrating, imagine being sooo close to possibly being in one of the biggest bands of all time and not realising, then your life just going back to normal and they go INSANELY famous (not saying they don’t deserve it) I would be so heartbroken
I liked Tom. I believed in him and I thought he stood a chance of going very far in the competition. He actually had a very good voice. Like Robbie said, "It all boils down to song choice" and if he chooses the right songs, he would be unbelievably brilliant.
