My grandfather who was a missionary for 50 years with my grandmother in Vietnam from 1924 to set 1974, when he was in his 80s he said he didn’t understand RIP… He said he needed rest here but when he got to Heaven he was going to have plenty to do exploring the universe and having great adventures. It’s hard to imagine that Carmen is gone… Almost 40 years of listening to his music and it’s hard to imagine that he even got any older. I know I got older but I figure everybody else stays the same. Praise the Lord that we have forever with Jesus.
Soon, soon we will be together in the presence of the Lord. Thank you Carman for standing tall in the anointing of God. Missing such a precious soul. 🙏🏼
IMO Carman was the greatest CCM entertainer when it came to live performances & music videos. His movie The Champion (not to be confused with his song or music video of the same name) is my favorite modern Christian movie.

This brought back memories of when carman did the mission 3:16 contest for youth churches the church I was in word of life pastored by lance wallnau came in 3rd man that was an awesome time.
Carmen there a lot of people who are going to spend eternity in Heaven because of your witness for God. I’ve survived a stroke, sepsis and cancer all by the grace of God. When I found out that I had cancer, my 1st thought was, Please tell me that you have the wrong person or the wrong diagnosis. Within a few more minutes of talking to them, I know that they had the right person and the right diagnosis. So my 2nd thought was, OK God how do we get through this together? My faith was in God that I was going to survive. I’m still alive by the grace of God. I’ve got more people to talk to them about what I’ve been through so they can put their faith in God so that when they die they will be in heaven for ever too.
We can preach Jesus as the son of some unknown God until the hounds come home. But Jesus Himself said that no one can come to Him unless the Father draws that person - John 6:44. So until people come to understand that Father God is Eternal TRUTH, the Great Creator of heaven and earth, (a Spirit) and the One and Only Spirit who is LORD of all lords and KING of all kings; and that this Spirit who is TRUTH has a spirit of His own which is Eternal LOVE; how can anyone hear of Jesus and acknowledge that Jesus alone is TRUTH and LOVE, Father and Spirit in His One and Only Ever Begotten bodily FORM - the Christ - God Himself in flesh - the Messiah? They can't! We cry for revival but do we really know how to beat Falsehood the devil at his own game? When people deny or doubt the existence of God or proclaim any false name as God, simply clue them in that they recognize reality. They will either see and believe or they will see and lift their weapons against the One True God and Eternal Life - 1 John 5:20. And the division of the sheep from the goats will take place. So we must learn to not just preach Jesus but to preach God and His Christ, if we wish to be truthful witnesses - Isaiah 43:10-11. God bless ya C-Man.

I only known about a week or two. I remember watching this video when I was 15. It use to come on every Saturday.
