How much does YOUR bag of rocks mean to you?
I'll let my bag of rocks answer that question.
Bag of Rocks:
Rocks!
Yes!
Exploading Quad Jumper is cool and all but 2017 is a year when we got 75183 Darth Vader Transformation
For 2014 I would say star destroyer because you can. There’s a little knob on the back that you can pull and it moves the turret all symmetrically I think that is much better than the droid gunship
One thing I've always wondered is: do kids actually like spring-loaded/stud shooters? I can't help but feel that if we had those when I was a kid I would have just found them annoying.
I personally never used them when playing with lego, I only liked them if they had a fun mechanism to activate them
When I was a kid me and all of my friends really hated them and rarely used them. The only thing I could ever remember really doing with them is making like Lego guns with them.
I mostly disliked them cus my home (at that time at least) was really small and spring shooters and especially stud shooters would shoot out their ammo and that piece had a high chance of basically being gone forever.
Yeah, never really played with them (the sticks that you push). But i found the pieces to be quite useful and versatile
As for stud shooters, i see no redeeming quality, and its even wayyyyy easier to lose
I grew up with them and I’ve always loved spring loaded shooters. Stud shooters, I’d take them or leave them.
I do want a video about play features from 1999 to 2013!
man i did miss out on a bunch of cool sets between 2015-2022, i got back into lego last september
10:21 im really impressed, holy moly very nice idea
One of the best 2013 play features is the Z-95 headhunter bombing missile
For 2023 I would say the second place definitely goes to the T-6 for its wing
I have the carbon freezing chamber. It uses the same mechanism as the Darth Vader transformation set.
Oh really? I didn’t know that. I have neither of them. 🤣
@@crazydog1750 I have both. If you ever need a video demonstrating a feature on a set that you don't have, you could put out a community post asking for footage of it.
My choices for 1999-2013 (from an outsider's perspective who only has pictures of these sets in the old visual dictionary):
2013: 75017 Duel on Geonosis- You can make Yoda flip around just like the movie (this set I actually do have, it is a clunky mechanism, but it works).
2012: 9515 You can reenact the Malevolence's ion blast with one of the first repeating Lego shooters.
2011: 7956 Ewok Attack catapults stones at the scout trooper. Finally the youth can engage in the ecstasy of public stoning!
2010: 8089 Wampa Cave actually shoots Luke's lightsaber towards him.
2009: 10195 Obviously picking up an AT-OT with a drop-ship is awesome
2008: 7675 AT-TE Opening up a panel hiding a concussion missile automatically launches it.
2007: 10178 An AT-AT that WALKS WITH A MOTOR (Coolest feature in ANY LEGO STAR WARS SET)
2006: 6211 A mechanism is built along the spine of the Star Destroyer just for the purpose of removing Vader's helmet.
2005: 7257 Mustafar Duel set that not only allows you reenact the fight without holding the figures, but also has light up lightsabers and collapsable scenery.
2004: 10131 The droid brain of the Tie-D is removable (it was a slow year)
2003: 4479 Though it has appeared in many sets, the mega cannon on the Tie Bomber is so comical when it's behind cute little bay doors.
2002: 8010 Darth Vader has arms that can move with levers on his back.
2001: 8007 C-3PO that falls apart when you press the center, referencing ESB.
2000: 8002 Droideka that pops up after it rolls (2nd coolest feature in ANY Lego Star Wars set).
1999: 7161 Gungan Sub is completely divisible and has three separate engines that can be applied as escape pods.
All very respectable choices. For 2013 though I personally would pick the HH-87 Starhopper and its speeder launching mechanism, and for 2011 I’d pick the bounty hunter gunship’s transformation feature.
@@crazydog1750I’ve been never heard of them, so you’re probably right.
Bud is just biased to the ghost
What do you put for 2023?
You pronounce caramel wrong
Eh, most everyone I've ever known pronounces it wrong, too. 🤣
i like your videos ❤
