The patriarch is probably the most inconsistent boss in the game; you either wreck him before the first heal or face all 3 heals and probably not win unless you don't chase after him. I don't think I've ever seen someone get him on the second or third run away
I tell you now, there is NOTHING BETTER in this game than taking this guy down with the RPG-7, and shouting "one in the pipe" while doing so. Love a little bit of irony.

Corners are your friend. Though I will admit, he's the hardest boss in co-op because a lot of times teams get themselves killed and then the last 1 or 2 players simply don't have the ammo to deal with him. Hence the advice of "decide whether you are going to chase or hole up and wait for him to return" rings true, and is something the entire team must decide on (especially in a six man crew)
Yeah, the Stoner is a fantastic weapon, as long as you have Tactical Reload. Otherwise, it's a bit too slow to reload and cumbersome to use, even if it does hit like a dumpster going at Mach 10.
The patriarch in kf2 is a fucking joke compared to the one in kf1...but i really like his new design in kf2 its awesome...i just wish they would increase his damage and movement speed to be more like in kf1...
milansta96 well if you follow the lore he has mutated more and sense he is more bulky-ish so it makes sense why he’s a tad bit more slower. But as for his damage im not sure I usually play on hard or suicidal so idk

I imagine it has to do with proximity and damage dealt, could you make some content on this topic if/when you have the time? For example: does healing affect aggro? Do different types of damage cause more or less aggro, what about bashing etc,etc.
I actually managed to corner him in a single area with my teammates and we managed to kill him in less than a minute. He didnt even get a chance to get away and heal xd.
What I usually do is cover him in c4 as much as I can and wait until zed time to detonat them to do extra damage or when he runs aways with a short life

Berserker is a favourite of mine, too. I'm a big fan of Firebug and Demolitionist, too. My middle mouse button is a bit naff, so I can't reliably parry, unfortunately.
I tried a few different layouts, but there aren't any free buttons that I can readily reach for parrying and alt fire. I mean, it's sometimes reliable, but sometimes the mouse is just complete shit. Probably because its wireless, and because it's fairly old.
I recently tried out SWAT, used the Kriss for, like, five seconds and pretty much loved it instantaneously. -that, and I found a bloody good skin for the Kriss on Steam Workshop, so that's always a plus.-
What's your secret to having smooth gameplay! All mt games with nothing running the backround have little micro stutters. Using 1080 strix 8 gig Vram, i5 9600k 5 ghz cpu and 16 gig ram! I feel like these older games I should run totally fine at 1440p medium to high but it just always stutters! I'm a task manager freak and always eliminate what I can! Any help from anyone would be grateful!
the patriarch is the most ridiculously hard of the bosses. He heals pretty much no matter what. Has a complicated hitzone, and his ranged attacks all practically 1 shot. I'm talking about on suicidal with 2 players. literally always insta kills one of us. Its fucking annoying because we get this boss everytime as well, every fucking time. any other boss is fine, hans is easy, fleshpound is easy, abomination is fucking ez. not this fucko though. mostly struggle with the insta kill machine gun. less than 1 second before he starts shooting, then you just die even with a max level medic healing you.

There’s one vulnerability you missed, a level 25 Sharpshooter with the AMR-99. My Sharpshooter is level twelve and playing solo normal I can kill Volter with around six shots with the damage perks.

I always find Patty to be a crapshoot on high difficulties. He does so much damage with every attack, and can melt you in seconds.
Use map geometry, renders him fairly useless. Always be close to something you can run/hide behind. Break LoS as often as possible.
