Kid Buu's power is basically fat Buu's, but unleashed in a manic fury with no regard for anything. Fat Buu is theorised to be slightly weaker because of the good Kai's influence, either by directly affecting his power or making his personality more, uh, jolly?, but they are in the same power tier.
Meanwhile Super Buu is noticeably stronger than fat Buu. Gotenks' base was supposed to be stronger than fat Buu, and after his training his SSJ is somewhat stronger than Super Buu. Ignoring the training Super Buu should roughly be 50x stronger.
Tl;dr Super > Kid > Fat.

Also, Kid Buu would be considered more dangerous since he's pure. We all know that fusion is the sum of the fusees, just look at Vegito impaling Buuhan with his finger beam, Goku would never do that, Vegeta on the other hand... Then it's safe to assume Kid Buu+Gohan+Goten+Trunks+Piccolo would make the end result less evil than Kid Buu alone, but stronger in battle power like all fusions do.

Geekdom I like the video and have a question when you do these types of debates do you actually go back and read the mangas and anime? Because in the anime if you watch the Buy saga Shin clearly states that the original Kid Buy was the strongest and that the West East North and South Kai's were far beyond SSJ3 Gokus level and they all lost to him. The story also goes on to say that When Original Buy absorbed South Kai he became weaker because he lost a lot of his evil and hate. Also Kid Buy has all of Super Buus abilities . +Billy Williams Yeah, that one's a little more tricky, but still if you think about it, super buu is more or less equal to ssj3 gotenks, while kid buu is more or less equal to ssj3 goku. Yes ssj3 gotenks is stronger than goku. It was implied that ssj1 gotenks could take fat buu. SSJ2 goku can't mess with fat buu let alone ssj1.
+cmpnaruto That's the thing. To my knowledge it isn't implied SSJ1 Gotenks is equal to Fat Buu. Just that Gotenks could/should be able to defeat Fat Buu which Goku could also do. What form Gotenks took is never mentioned. Then multipliers that aren't in the manga are given as evidence for regular super Buu Gotenks and Gohan being much much stronger than kid Buu and Goku. I wanted to know if the manga corresponded that theory.
I have always viewed him that when he is Kid Buu that he is extremely dangerous due to his unpredictability and his lack of remorse.

Im ok with Buuhan being the strongest. Kid Buu will always be my favorite Buu though. Ever since I saw him on the cover of DBZ Legends (PS1) as a kid, I couldn't wait for the anime to catch up so I could watch him.

Its amazing to me that this is still a debate after all these years. Buuhan was the strongest since he had the power of Mystic Gohan, Goten, Trunks, and Piccolo on top of his own power. Kid Buu was the most dangerous because he was completely unstable and destroyed planets and killed people for the hell of it with absolutely no inhibitions.

Judging the villains' power levels by Goku's confidence is indeed the smartest way to go about it. What we know about Goku is that he doesn't take fights he is absolutely sure he will lose (Cell, for example). Goku's judgement of who he can handle in a fight is consistently correct throughout Dragon Ball and he is never "over-confident" about his skills. So yeah. Kid Buu is weaker than Super Buu according to Goku and we can trust his judgement.

But miraculously SSJ3 is suddenly strong enough to do what even vegito couldn't, and buu is stronger?? Your slippin man. Do better.

+Vlogiicz becuse you're wrong, that's why. buu became weaker when his pure evil energy was tainted with things like kindness and other positive emotions. since when he first appears his evil energy has already been tainted at some point absorbing gotenks and gohan makes him stronger because the energy he gains outweighs the fact that it further taints his evil energy. however that does not mean he would have gotten stronger if he was already kid buu when he absorbed them. goku and vegeta couldn't beat super buu base form because they we're inside his body which gave him a huge advantage. the desicion not to fuse again by goku and vegeta was based entirely on pride and not at all on whether or not buu was stronger or weaker then before. it's pretty obvious that kid buu toyed with his opponents and probably could have killed goku in an instant. the whole idea that kid buu was more unpredictable and therefore more dangerous is also ridiculous, buuhan was capable of the same level of unpredictability if not more because of his intelligence. in fact i'd say kid buu's action's are much easier to predict (basically rampage, destroy, repeat)

Kid Buu decimated the entire worlds with simple a finger zap and his massive signature move, the Planet Burst that pretty much makes him the most powerful and dangerous version of Buu to have ever existed.
I actually never thought Kid Buu was strongest. That said, I think even Mystic / Ultimate Gohan would have some trouble because he was cocky and Kid Buu would have just destroyed something before Gohan could have done anything.
If nothing else, SSJ3 Goku wouldn't have been able to do ANYTHING if Buu was still Post-Gohan absorbed Super Buu
Traditional fiction dictates that the prime antagonist must be the most difficult for the protagonist to defeat. Take Batman for example. In spite of him fighting numerous villains, many with powers greater than his (Clayface, Bane, even Darkseid and Doomsday), Batman's greatest enemy is the Joker. Joker has no superpowers whatsoever, but his extreme sense of cunning along with his psychotic nature makes him the one person Batman could never ever bring down permanently.
So in Kid Buu's case, although he is weaker in terms of Battle Power, he is also the most violent, which makes Kid Buu virtually unpredictable in battle.
Bruce Lee's criticism of martial arts prior to founding Jeet Kune Do is that every martial arts technique requires it to be performed by a specific sequence, which makes the technique less practical to use in real-life fight situations. Knowing the katas for example mean nothing in a real-fight if all your opponent has to do is throw a knife at you when you least expect it.
So Kid Buu is the most unrestrained version that will fight and destroy by any and every means necessary. For Goku, this means he will have a difficult time predicting Kid Buu's moves and form counter-attacks. Fusion won't work simply because Kid Buu is psychotic enough to attack Goku and Vegeta before the Fusion is even completed.

You do realize there is virtually no way Kid Buu and Super Buu would ever fight each other because they are essentially the same person, right? So your argument is pointless between the two.
Yes, if Vegetto was still active, then it would be a curbstomp because of the huge power difference between him and Kid Buu. But Kid Buu already knows that and won't allow a second Fusion this time around and would definitely prevent Goku and Vegeta from doing so.

Kid Buu is not the strongest version of Buu, but he is the most evil with no inhibitions. For example, when Buu absorbs someone he also absorbs part of their personality making him not as dangerous and more hesitant. Moreover, between the fight of Goku and Gohan/Ultimate Buu, SSJ3 Goku was not able to compete against Ultimate Buu, but SSJ3 Goku was able to fight kid Buu

GODOFAWSOMENESS1 The supreme kai’s were supposed to be taught this by their previous supreme kais or masters. That’s why Shin the Supreme Kai from universe 7 got scolded by Gawasu for not knowing about the potara time limit in the manga.
Choloscience Shin the supreme Kai didn’t know about the time limit until the goku black arc, and they didn’t fuse again because they thought it wasn’t necessary to beat him, besides they wanted to beat him with their own power this time.

I have never understood why it was so perplexing for people to understand this. Like do you guys really think vegito would have any trouble with kid buu. Granted he toyed with buu han too, but buu han at least made vegito try when he started doing that barrier thing. Plus kid buu isnt even as strong as super buu. Kid buu got stronger absorbing the strong kai, but that form is below super buu. Who beat ssj3 gotenks who is stronger than ssj3 goku who is on kid buus level. Kid buus heart is just pure evil so hes the most willing to instantly go 100 destructive force. No banter, toying or even battling first just full on planetary explosion cuz he can. This does not mean that super buu isnt stronger, just more willing to hold back.

I don't get that Kid Buu is the strongest argument. If Kid Buu is stronger than Buuhan, why would he even need to absorb anyone? The Supreme Kai he absorbed couldn't have been stronger than Super Buu or Vegito.
The same argument can be made of why Super Buu absorb the South kai unless you're telling me South Kai is as strong as Gotenks. Don't think so. As Buu absorbs more, he gotten weaker. This is evident when Super Buu was able to easily overpower Fat Buu. Kid Buu was well acting like a kid. The assumption would have to be made that Kid Buu was able to overpower Super Buu. Supreme Kai was terrified. He even told Goku and Vegeta to fuse again.
Goku stated no we tried that and it just didn't work out. We will try to beat him on our own. This why you should treat Anime different from Manga.

@@ultrawweman7265 The point of absorbing someone is to not only inherit their best traits, but to also get stronger. That's why Kid Buu absorbed the South Kai. He got bigger and stronger, but less pure. I get that absorbing some characters won't be super beneficial to the new body(The Grand Supreme Kai and Piccolo without Gotenks), but technically speaking, the more bodies collected, the stronger the body should get. Buuhan was so strong that Vegito was the best option to beat him. Taking away Gohan, Gotenks, Piccolo and Fat Buu should have made Kid Buu return to what he was before he started to absorb people. Unless he retained most of the power Buuhan had, there's no way Kid Buu should be stronger.
Goku and Vegeta would have still fused if they truly believed that he was stronger despite their pride and understanding that Kid Buu isn't composed of anyone else. If Kid Buu was legitimately stronger ss3 Goku would have been finished way sooner.

Also, the descriptions of Buu's power made it seem (IMO) like he can access infinite amounts of power from some unknown place... like another dimension, or something. That said, I think the ideas being portrayed were the limitless potential of children, the slippery slope of innocence & power vs. corruption.

My thing was always the fact that supreme kai was so petrified when Kid Buu resurfaced. He wasn’t that scared of any of other forms of Buu like he was with Kid Buu. I get the “most dangerous” thing but the other forms of Buu were going to terrorize the universe too.

Vegeta did the same thing the first time he fought goku. Has absolutely nothing to do with the universe not even hurting the planet. My input - I always assumed that Ultimate Buu (Gohan + others absorbed) had the highest actual power level, but because he had so many different folks absorbed, he tended to hold back and fight in a specific manner, whereas Kid Buu was simply the most dangerous because he was the most volatile, the most ruthless, and the most brutal. What he lacked in power level, he made up for with impulsive, yet wicked techniques, being nearly impossible to read, and a complete disregard for honor/fairness/etc. Kid Buu was simply the more effective killer, because Ultimate Buu usually wanted to play around - it took Vegitto to push him over the edge.

Super buu (specifically gohan absorbed or Gotenks for the brief period) is obviously the strongest of all forms. However, he had logic due to said absorptions, when kid buu, the pure buu, knew only destruction and chaos. Why he was the most "dangerous". Hand a dictator a nuke, he won't use it until he is benefited from it. Hand an angry child a nuke and they'll use it within seconds without a thought.

If you mean at the Majin Buu vs. Kid buu fight, yes kid buu is stronger. However, Majin Buu had Kid buu inside him when he fought the Z-fighters and other members. He, I would assume, is weaker without kid buu, the primary buu, unless for some reason it made that form "weaker" from absorbing someone, which has never happened in the series.

Super Buu and Kid Buu is analogous to a trained animal and a wild animal. A trained animal (i.e. Super Buu) could be bigger, faster, and stronger than a wild animal (i.e. Kid Buu), but a wild animal is more of a threat to your life. Super Buu contains more intelligence and therefore can be somewhat reasoned with (to an extent), but he also experiences things like pride, which can be exploited to defeat him. Kid Buu runs solely on impulse, therefore making him more dangerous. So Super Buu probably has the higher power level, but is more tame, while Kid Buu is more likely to attack and destroy things on a whim; and I think this is the best way to think about this concept of "which Buu is strongest".

Final Form Frost Well first off the Fat Buu vs Kid Buu was a longer fight. Evil Buu was stronger then Fat Buu but not by that much.
Where as Kid Buu dominated Fat Buu. Yes Fat Buu got in 2 or 3 hits. However this can be attributed to two things. #1 a lack of intelligence on Kid Buu Part #2 Fat Buu showed far more intelligence in this fight then in the fight against Evil Buu.

Something not touched up on is the interviews, Akira Toriyama was asked why he makes the more child like forms the strongest and they use Frieza and Kid Buu as examples, he doesn't tell them that Kid Buu wasn't the strongest he instead explains why he made child like forms the strongest, also Toriyama said in an interview that no one could ever accurately sense Buu's power, so no one knew how strong any of the forms really were

Without Gohan absorption that is and reason they weren't too keen on fighting on earth was because it was more fragile than planet they fought on. Earth has been stated to be so fragile that it can be blown up with power level ki 300 blast, which was concern even when they fought against perfect Cell.
Now in new planet where the final battle took place, Goku could go all out without having to be concerned about his surroundings so he didn't need to suppress his blasts or be careful what he'd aim for.

2. Kid buu absorbs the only kai he struggled with and becomes super buu
3.Kid buu absorbs the fat kai and becomes Fat buu which i think made him stronger? Or weaker??
4. Fat buu gets so mad that is evilness popped out of him which is stronger than him..?
5. Evil buu absorbs Fat buu and becomes Super buu

Pure Boo can fight for much longer than Ssj3 Goku without getting tired because he has an insane amount of stamina. In the Viz version of the manga Goku does state that Pure Boo wasn't taking the fight seriously but he didn't mean because he was much stronger than him, he couldn't keep up with Pure Boo enough to power up to full power. Goku stood zero chance against any form of Super Boo. i think it goes without saying that Pure Boo is not the strongest.

How is this even something people are talking about? Goku says he could have beat kid Buu if he had went all out from the start, Goku couldn't touch super Buu with Gotenks never mind with Gohan absorbed, they had to fuse. Goku wouldn't have fused with Vegeta if he didn't need to, he is a saiyan he wants to beat everyone himself. Buu with Gohan absorbed is absolutely more powerful, however base Super Buu I would imagine was weaker than Kid Buu. Even if he wasn't, Kid Buu was more unpredictable and unrestrained than Super Buu was.
Goku told Vegeta that they'd have no chance against base Super Buu. Goku felt confident against Kid Buu and later claimed he could beat him at full power. Vegeta agreed. Manga statements.

And at the end he states " I know your stronger than me Buu, but this is more than just my power it's everyone's so I cannot and will not lose".
Goku was lying about how powerful SS3 was to Vegeta just like he did to piccolo. Notice how even when they are losing inside Buu, Goku only goes SS2. Goku was "playing psychologist" trying to get Vegeta to agree to the fusion dance.
Honestly, you can argue that *technically* the manga doesn't explicitly state that absorbing *both* kaioshins weakened him (just Daiokaioshin). But really, Toriyama wouldn't write in that line about Buu's power going up rather than down if he didn't intended the next form they fought to be stronger.
It also makes no sense because in the manga, they don't say that Super Buu > Fat Buu. "Super" Buu is just more evil and has a more slender combat-ready body. Buu splits evil from good, the evil side wins and eats the good side because the evil side "got most of the power when they split", the total power is the same, he doesn't get stronger.

When *all* Kai influence is removed by yanking out Fat Buu, Buu is forced to rely ENTIRELY on his own power and Goku and Vegeta notice a huge spike in power. Buff Boo was never a form in the manga. It was a filler scene in the anime. That power was entirely Buu's pure, unrestrained power. That was all Kid Buu.

Fat Buu is referring to the first Buu we see. He still has evil within him, but for now the good side takes control, which makes him weaker. Buu when he's evil or angry is far more powerful than good or passive. When Fat Buu splits, it's said that the Good Buu takes 40% of the power, and Evil Buu the other 60%. If Fat Buu is roughly SSJ3 level, then Good Buu is just about SSJ2 level, while Evil Buu is somewhere in between.

Kid Buu actually does a better job fighting SSJ3 Goku than Fat Buu did. Keep in mind that this Goku now has far more control over SSJ3, can summon it on command, uses less ki, etc. At the beginning of the Buu Arc, SSJ3 was almost useless, but is now viable for longer. Still, Kid Buu mostly dominates the fight, so that shows how strong he is. The Grand Supreme Kai is no longer weakening him.

Super Buu is simply on another threshold from Kid Buu. He was on par with SSJ3 Gotenks (even holding back as we would learn later), in which Piccolo states just SSJ Gotenks surpassed SSJ3 Goku. Considering Base Gotenks did a better job against Fat Buu then anyone else, I doubt he needed all that 50x multiplier just to surpass Goku. SSJ3 Gotenks is bare minimum 10x stronger than SSJ3 Goku, if not much more. Both Super Buu and SSJ3 Gotenks casually broke spacetime just by screaming and powering up. All SSJ3 Goku could managed after 5 minutes of screaming was just shaking the planet. Kid Buu did that by casually screaming. Not to mention, even at the end of the Buu Arc, Goku was confident that he and Vegeta combined had no chance against Super Buu. This was a stronger Goku with better SSJ3 control, too. Super Buu still stomps, and by measure, stomps Kid Buu, too. Think of Super Buu as the evil version of Fat Buu. He still has all that god power within him.

When Super Buu is roiding out into the terrifying Ultra Buu, Goku and Vegeta are visibly nervous and tremble saying he's twice as big as before. They couldn't even beat Super Buu at any point, nonetheless this monster. However, when he shrinks into Kid Buu, Goku and Vegeta are confident again and laughing at the little scrub. Why do you think they did rock, paper, scissors? Kid Buu was emanating so little power that Goku was confident enough to allow Vegeta to fight Kid Buu by himself. Even when they learn Kid Buu was holding back and more akin to SSJ3, that's still less impressive than the previous Super Buu, nonetheless Ultra Buu. Don't forget that Ultra Buu was caused by Kid Buu absorbing the South Supreme Kai - a warrior as strong as himself that fought for hours, and Buu's fusion is multiplication, so Kid Buu x South Supreme Kai = really f*cking powerful. This number HAS to be more than the minimum 10x multiplier from Fat Buu to Super Buu. Probably a lot more. Unlike with the Grand Supreme Kai, we are never told Buu is weakened by this man, so he just got stronger. I like to think whereas Fat Buu represents Buu taking on Grand Supreme Kai and his benevolence, Ultra Buu is consequently Buu taking on the South Supreme Kai and his rage. Whereas Fat Buu can make himself bigger and fatter, Super Buu can make himself bigger and stronger. Super Buu and Ultra Buu might actually be the same form, just Super Buu unleashing all his power and losing control when the only thing weakening him (Daikaio's pod) is cut from Buu's brain.

The reason I put Buuccolo above Ultra Buu is that he starts with the much stronger Super Buu as a base, rather than Kid Buu, plus he has Goten, Trunks, Piccolo, and everyone else he absorbed from the Lookout (plus all the cities he ate). Once again, Buu's fusion is multiplication, and while comparatively weak, little things like these add up. Not to mention, Buuccolo resembles Buutenks more than Super Buu, and retains the intelligence and skillset from before. While his raw power is up for contention against Ultra Buu, I can guarantee his a far smarter and more skilled fighter, on top of likely being more powerful.

Considering that Ultimate Gohan CURBSTOMPED Super Buu, and then Buutenks turns around and HUMILIATES Ultimate Gohan, that is a double threshold in power above Super Buu. While maybe not as much as a leap between Super Buu and Ultimate Gohan, Buutenks is undoubtedly still more powerful than Gohan, maybe as much as 10x or more. Not to mention he proves to be far smarter and more skilled with an endless array of devastating techniques and the lust for battle. Buutenks, at one point, wrecks Gohan with ONE ARM. He literally flies in front of SSJ3 Goku, stops in midair, and purposefully turns around to fire at Gohan just for the hell of it. He proves that Goku couldn't hurt him anyway, and proceeds to wreck Goku as well. Buutenks was confident and capable enough to trash both SSJ3 Goku and Ultimate Gohan at the same time. Him being this strong proves that Buu's fusion is not addition, but multiplication, because considering Super Buu = SSJ3 Gotenks (roughly), two SSJ3 Gotenks wouldn't have scratched the surface of Ultimate Gohan. Instead, they make a mockery of him.

Buuhan is logically by far the most powerful form of Buu. SSJ3 Goku is a joke by this point, the same guy who a few episodes later struggled for his life against the FAR weaker Kid Buu. Considering Ultimate Gohan CURBSTOMPED Super Buu, and by measure, SSJ3 Gotenks as well, Super Buu fusing with this being would make him far ECLIPSE the power of Buutenks. Plus, he still has Goten, Trunks, Piccolo, Z-fighters, etc., fused within him too, giving him their intelligence and skills and techniques. Hell, even with the unfused Gotenks, Buuhan can still use Gotenks' techniques like the Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack (now improved version). Even better, unlike Buutenks, Buuhan doesn't have to worry about a fusion running out, so he can fight forever. Buuhan is easily the strongest Buu, plus intelligence, skills, moves, and permanence.

Kid Buu is not stronger than Ultimate Buu. I'm mean even South Supreme Kai was stronger than him physically. However if you where to pit the two against each other, Kid Buu would still win. Kid Buu has something that the other Buu's don't have; actually it's more accurate to say that he doesn't have what they have, flaws. As to where you have the other Buu's that exhibit emotions that would leave you thinking about outcomes or circumstances, worries or fears, this Buu doesn't have that. In fact I don't even think he can fathom those emotions. He acts purely on his instinct to destroy. And once more he never needs a reason to kill or destroy. He brings a whole other meaning to the phrase loose cannon. And I've noticed that this Buu regenerates faster, his Ki is practically unlimited and his stamina recovery is extraordinary. While the other Buu's do have similar traits, its no where near the same level as his. So in terms of power level compared to some of the other Buu's he is weaker, but he excels in everything else. The problem with the other Buu's is that they've been diluted with the absorption of other beings, they're no longer Pure Majins. I guess that's why some call him Pure Buu.
So south Kaioshin was stronger than him yet nonsensically :

I've watched a few of "Geekdom101" videos and although I find them very entertaining, I believe that he as well as many of us have read too much in between the lines, that we have broken down and dissected DBZ more than the creators probably thought us die hard fans would. Although many things we have suggested (many with logical/plausible probability) the fact is the creator did not state many of it so it's not real. Just enjoy the show man and recommend the show to the next generation. DBZ is one of those cartoons that should live through the times.
I think when kaioshin says kid buu is the most troublesome he means that in this state, buu's natural properties are at their best, as in, whenever buu absorbs someone, his natural features become diluted. While he may not have as much raw power as super buu, he recovers and regenerates better, as well as his pure form restoring power he may have lost while absorbing people. I think his ability to absorb might be more of a survival mechanism. Also, kid buu is dodgy and playfull. He can stress out his opponents by fooling around, being unpredictable. He reminds me of luffy from one piece. Very difficult to fight against, smarter than he seems, insane endurance, and the best at a battle of atrittion. He is indeed better than the other buu's at the things that make him buu.
That's another debate that needs to happen. Who stinger between Goku SSJ3 Goku or Ultimate Gohan?

As a fan of both the manga and the anime I feel like this debate has always left out one of the major points that was made throughout the arc. While Super Buu with Gohan absorbed was the stronger as far as power levels, Kid Buu was the toughest version of Buu to battle against. It's hinted throughout the arc that Buu in all forms other than Kid Buu was constantly fighting two battles both internally and externally. Up until the moment Kid Buu spits out Fat Buu at which point there was no longer an internal conflict allowing him to be focused solely on what was in front of him. This is why Kid Buu was the strongest form. It's not always the fighter with the highest power level that is the strongest.

I see Kid Buu as the most pure form of Buu; the form he was born into, all (or most) of his latent techniques and abilities aren't as honed, but he's more familiar to them.
So instead of absorbing abilities and powers, or making them up on the fly, Kid Buu is most familiar and comfortable in that form.
