Good question! Indeed, in TGA, there is pulmonary-mitral continuity. So, yes, the mitral valve is at risk in the translocation procedures. However, in the Nikaidoh procedure, the posterior pulmonary annulus is kept in place and used to fix the translocated aortic root, so the mitral is at less risk. While in the double-root switch, the pulmonary root is also harvested and translocated to the RVOT, in this case the mitral is even at higher risk. Nice comment 👍
