You, sir, are the only reason why my little brother is still alive since he broke my headset. Thanks a lot, it's pretty fast and effective. Science is indeed magical xD
@@mujavirmusthafa8084 No, my headset is a JBL one, but it broke in the exact same spot as the one in the video and this method worked perfectly. It's easy, fast and long lasting
Mate, thank you thank you thank you. 💛 You're a real lifesaver. I used liquid super glue and afterwards I used my nail file to sand the surface and make it seamless and you honestly can't even tell it ever broke. I'm incredibly happy, you made my day and saved me a few hundred bucks.
I use my head phones quite a lot. So I absolutely cracked it when my daughter carelessly broke my headphones. Was just about to buy a new pair until I saw this video. Saved me some good money. Thanks champ!
OMG! It works!!At first Ive tried use superglue apparently it won't work, but then i try this trick and my plastic headphone combine so tight and firm! Thank you for sharing this!
Thank you for the tips. August 2018 I bought my jbl Bluetooth headphone 2 months after I accidentally broke fell down not too high hips level from the ground. And then i went to harman house service centre. Asked them to fix.. and leave to them. 10 days after give feedback. That not part of the warranty. I was so disappointed and wanted to throw... instead of keeping. then this feb 2018. I searched in TH-cam on how to fix my broken headphone. Found your video. I did what you did on your video. And I'm so happy to say that it works and the bond its so amazing and awesome... Thank you.
I watched this video a year ago, and had put off trying to fix my headphones until tonight. Finally tried it out and it worked perfectly!!! The mix gets hot and puts off a fume, but it did the job. Thanks!
This trick solved the only issue i have ever had with my favorite gaming headset Triton from Madcatz. I wish i had known this before my 5th replacement over the years
Thank you man because i accidently tossed my headset and snapped. Tried to fix it with just super glue didn't work until i found this. I also need baking soda the whole time but thanks man really thankful that I found this

wow what a great tip i tried it today on a pair headphones that were going to be thrown away but I tried i was like holy cow it works it's stronger now than before
Thank you so much for this great DIY video! Literally saved me from $40 of headband replacement. My headphone is black so the cement quite noticeable. But I don't mind it, at least I still can use my lovely headphone. Loved ♥ from Malaysia 🇲🇾
ooo bro , its just not less that a life saver. I had broken my uncle's bluetooth head phone when he was out. Though he gave me little scolding, yet it is still in use . Thanks a lot AGAIN!
I will have to give this a go with mine, one side broke at the band at the side. They are only cheap Sound Republik one's from the reject Shop(Australian Chain) but they sound pretty good.
can you mix the baking soda and glue to create a plastic epoxy and then apply the glue mixture or is it necessary to layer to two parts like shown? I have smaller delicate parts. The way you did it is more like a micro plastic layered weld. Does it get hot? my broken piece pivots on a post and folds on a pin. A fixed joint may be the bet solution if I can't find a replacement part JBLE55BT broken pivot .
OK Great video, snapped my headphone band by taking it off a dumb way, and it was no longer hugging my head to make it sound proof. I fixed it with your solution! Thank you! The only thing I would comment is you def need some FINESSE to not get superglue everywhere and just hit the spot like MakeIT101 did.
One side of my headphone was half broken.... while watching ur video I broke the other half.. I hope this trick gonna work☺☺ It worked😊(within10 secends)
Comment and Question: Great fix! I've tried twice to fix my blue tooth headset. Didn't hold either time. Third time with the correct ingredients - ready for it to work! Question: Can I use Loctite Superglue Gel? I recently bought two little vials.
Will this work for headphones that has that closing part? My left headphone is attached to a wire and the thing that was holding it together is like a container closing. I can just snap it back, but once I try to put it on, it automatically snaps back and I was wondering if this will work.
started out 99% sure it was a scam but since i couldn't think of anything else to do i tried it out. it doesn't work that well... IT WORKS BLOODY AMAZING *edit* it's 3 months later, and the headphones have broken again. in the same place. BECAUSE THE BOND WAS TO STRONG! WHAT?!?!
Dude im watching in Oct 2019 and i broke my headphones this morning on the plastic bend wanted to cry!. I first tried super glue with tape and it just broke .. But after watching your vid it's sticking now and im so happy rn im almost crying with joy (as opposed to sadness)! THANKS MAN!
Thanks for sharing your video for fixing my headset it works but my problem is that my headphone is jammed by the superglue so can u please make a video that can remove superglue on the headset
I need to try this with mine, they are only a cheap pair, and I thought that was the reason why, but as I have seen even the more expensive ones break as well. The superglue looks like the ones I get from the Reject Shop, 6 or 8 tubes for a few dollars.,

Will this work if it's the hinge that allows the sound part to swing in that broke? Pulled it a bit too hard and it popped off
That’s crazy amazing, I buy my headphones and the second day I seat on it, it’s broken just like yours the same part. Will try the same

I think this will work with any plastics, time to fix trim pieces in. Car.ty for the idea.
But will it resist a large head?

Loctite Superglue Gel is Ethyl cyanoacrylate based, should be no problem.

I used yeast powder on my teeth set, and it worked well.

Can i use mighty bond
Super bro my headset is prefect fit thank you 💪😄😄😍😍
Thank you very much. It's really worked.👍
Very creative. Is there a solution for headphones whose band snapped in half? There will be no base to glue the band too, in this case.
Cut out a flat piece of stiff plastic and glue them together. Hopefully that will do the trick.
Thank you sir ...it 💪 u are so clever.
started out 99% sure it was a scam
but since i couldn't think of anything else to do i tried it out.
it doesn't work that well...
IT WORKS BLOODY AMAZING

it's 3 months later, and the headphones have broken again. in the same place. BECAUSE THE BOND WAS TO STRONG! WHAT?!?!
how can this be a scam
@@splashstrikestore there's this one channel - maybe you've heard of it - it's called "5 minute crafts". that's the kind of scam i was going for

Hey Brother
My headphones are broken from upper side where it bands can this works there??
Please tell me...
Maojor Missing my headphones..😣
Great content, mate!👍
Please, can baking powder be used in the case of the absence of baking soda?
Not sure about that, you may try on other surface to see if that work.
Alternative for superglue ?
Fevikwik/Anabond ?
Any Cyanoacrylate glue should work.
can I do baking powder instead?
I have never tried using baking powder, the bond might not be as strong as baking powder consist only about 1/4 of baking soda.
goodshit andrea. i had misread,i was literally bouta try out with b.powder. ha.not todaay universe
Can I use cocaine instead?
don't waste ur coke on this... instead of baking crack... bake your headphones, sorta
what will happen if i use those super glues that are not the liquid ones?
This is crazy it's amazing 👌thx
A W E S O M E ! ! ! Thank you!
THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU'RE MY LIFE SAVER!!! Now I don't need to buy another headphone.
The broke place has a wire passing from side so will that hurt the wire ?
You are not going to cut wire, glue will most probable not going to hurt any wire.
OMG bro thank you so much i love you
Can I use fevi quick...?? Please kindly answer

when it's actually working: i'm a fool

Can i use flour instead of baking soda powder?
@Niel Senpai ... Do you have a dollartree? Baking soda is $1 dollar.
No, God please, No.
Can use feviquick instead?
Yes
Thank you dude! Fixed mine !
Would this work with gorilla glue as well?
@Le Darkside Le .... Isn’t gorilla glue pretty expensive though? Just get some $1 super glue down and $1 baking soda at the dollartree.
