This a flock of rooks, you can tell the difference between them & crows & ravens by the grey / white base of the beak. They are also bigger & with more gravelly, deeper caws than crows, but not as big or gronky as ravens. ✌
Aww towards the end you can see the disappointment as they looked at the others who got food and had the question of "is that all of it?". That shows their intelligence even further. They do have feelings. And some crows don't get food as much as others. But they're the ones who will also notice the ones who look more fed and follow them to where they're eating better.
The social dynamic between each of these Corvid family members i always find EXTREMELY interesting too watch. These birds never cease to amaze me. I've been in the avian field now for nearly 30yrs having "hands on" experience with everything from Warblers to Birds of Prey and Budgies to Macaws. And of ALL the groups of birds i've worked with the Corvid family is my favorite. Simply because of their sheer intelligence being able to use tools like the Hawaiian Crow. To perfecting speech as Common Raven's are quite capable of doing and their clarity on par with the best parrots.
Great to meet another corvid lover .In Berlin we have the hooded crows and as with you the rooks call in .They are all amazing birds .Liked and will have a look at your website . Corvids and are all amazing .As is your video :)
i just found this and i want to shout out a huge thank you from tucson, az, usa..that was fascinating. i feed one crow and a raven but your feathery family is amazing. !
WOW !!!! SUPER AWESOME video of beautiful crows enjoying their feeding. Love the crow sounds too. I wish they would come to my yard this way, although, I've managed to get the attention of one or two at different times. MAGNIFICENT AND TOTALLY INCREDIBLE BIRDS. ❤❤😍😍👍👍
Very orderly for the most part. The families of crows and ravens that I feed are orderly ss well, however the ravens will always jump to the head of the line 🤣😎👍 Great video...Thanks😎👍
Wow! That was a great video. It was interesting to see how wary these birds are how fast they cleaned up on a pile of peanuts. I have some crows that stop by and eat food left out for my pigeons. It's a huge contrast, black crows and white pigeons.
They are very cool to watch like this. I have never seen crows with the white beak before. Beautiful. I have a leucistic crow that I feed in a park near my house everyday. I believe she is a female. She loves eggs the most. I do some hard boiled for them and she steals the show hahaha. Beautiful murder here :) Love from Canada BC Chilliwack!
I played this video with my dogs on my lap, and one of them got all excited when he heard the crows cawing! He tried to see where the crows were that made the noises. He knows the sounds they make from hearing them from his yard, and tried to find them out there!
Those are rooks and their range stretches from Europe to East Asia, the ones with the black beaks are either ravens or crows depending on size. You can see a couple crows scattered throughout the video but in this one, they are mostly rooks.
Ravens are cool and very smart. Love Germany! Hope you have a nice Christmas? Happy New Year too! 2018!! Make more videos with Ravens please. I can watch and listen to them a long time.
Signe de grande convivialité sociale partage et respect de chaque individu Chacun son tour -. Preuve d'une très grande intelligence ! Ils sont très nombreux ici à Paris .
I’m trying to attract crows in order to deter hawks. I’ve lost 3 chickens to hawks, and have a small group of crows that have started chasing them off, so I want to keep the crows around.
I feed the crows cat food that my finicky felines won't eat. Mostly single protein foods. Rabbit, chicken even a bag of cat food that was alligator. They love it!
So nice you are feeding those birds this is meritorious act keep it up..Just i have seen a video before this one i.e. "outdoor life" was shocking 😢where a man was killing innocent bird by his gun
People in the comments keep saying they are crows. They are not. Look at their round shaped tail. They are ravens. I feed ravens in our country and they act similar.
ive been feeding a family of crow for the last 3 yrs here up north of quebec city these babies recognize my car they see me from theyre perch sometime street lamp few block away then fly right to my feeding spot one thing notice on this video is why theyre beak whitish look like some kind of fungus ????
You don't have this species in Canada. They're called "rooks" and are European. The white part is a unique marking of theirs. We have crows (short beaks all black) and ravens (bigger with more hooked beak) and rooks (white patch on beak) as well as magpies which are not in Canada.
Grear video of black crows and rooks!☺ In Poland black crows are extremely rare - I saw 2 in Hel Peninsula - that was so exciting!😊 We have hooded crows, so it's easier to tell the difference😉 Was the one at 4:22 a hybrid?
They all look like rooks to me, the one at 4.22 probably a juvenile with some leucistic feathers caused possibly by protein deficiency can be seen often in corvids, so feeding them nuts is always a good thing. ✌😎
I have a bird feeder with a lot of different birds but no crows. There are crows in the area but rarely do they come close to my house. What did you have to do to get them started coming to your property?
The ones with the fleshy beaks are called rooks. There are a few crows and ravens but the majority of the ones you see here are the rook family that was hanging around nearby for the winter.
I love crows I feed them at work, They do an awesome air show. Thanks for feed them. Los Angeles
Great footage !
I could watch them all day.
Love from USA. 💙

These are neither crows nor ravens, but ROOKS. Anyway they are amazing.
well only moved left and right never diagonally?

Awesome birds! We feed a family of 30 daily, they are so smart they recognize us and our car LOL! Few say HELLO!
same! my family has about 15 crows or so. theres a fresh little baby one this year he's so cute!! one of the crows says "ohhhh"
i feed a small family peanuts too, but my parents dont like it too much :(
@@Angela-kp8un Tell them about crows and how SMART they are. They remember faces too.
😂 That’s awesome
gorgeous birds :)

My neighbourhood crows (hooded crows) would never leave with just one peanut...
I like how you can see them then fly over to the road, probably to crack the peanuts, then return to get another one

MAGNIFICENT AND TOTALLY INCREDIBLE BIRDS. ❤❤😍😍👍👍
Gotta feed them all of the time
The amount of peanuts in that pile was deceiving. They each got many second helpings 👍
Form an orderly line! Lol bless them 💕
Definitely a pecking order.Crows are fabulous.
Very orderly for the most part.
The families of crows and ravens that I feed are orderly ss well, however the ravens will always jump to the head of the line 🤣😎👍
Great video...Thanks😎👍
Crows and Ravens are awesome... it seems like they get less and less afraid of the pile over time
Love crows!! Beautiful video!

I love them too
What do u feed pigeons? And the crows?
In them their is always a leader he feed first then others in no wise
They each take one and immediately fly off ☺️
Good video, beautiful birds. 👍🏻

I love crows! Thank you for feeding them!
Starting get the 1994 movie vibe "The Crow"
I played this video with my dogs on my lap, and one of them got all excited when he heard the crows cawing! He tried to see where the crows were that made the noises. He knows the sounds they make from hearing them from his yard, and tried to find them out there!
How agile they are 1:32 quick hover over to the left
Even I love to feed the sparrow everyday 👍
The lighter color at the base of their beaks are different than American corvids. In the U.S. they are all black.
Those are rooks and their range stretches from Europe to East Asia, the ones with the black beaks are either ravens or crows depending on size. You can see a couple crows scattered throughout the video but in this one, they are mostly rooks.
Those birds are rooks which are related to crows.
I was wondering....
Rooks are a type of crow
I am going to try that, see what I can get. I have a lot of squirrels. We'll see.
Crows are such big birds.
Love crows feed them all the time they love meat trimmings
The crow shows up like a boss. Late, but not at all intimidated by the rooks.
I believe that "crow"is actually a immature rook. They can look like a crow until they lose the bristles on their beak
Ravens are cool and very smart. Love Germany! Hope you have a nice Christmas? Happy New Year too! 2018!! Make more videos with Ravens please. I can watch and listen to them a long time.

Very nice

A Magnificent Bird, Especially when you become friends with it.
At first I knew they were ravens but then I saw their tail feathers and now I just don’t know
Have they brought you any presents?
Классные грачики.
My cat Marc just went behind my TV to catch the birds in it.
they're not eating it that fast, probably hiding nearby
So nice you are feeding those birds this is meritorious act keep it up..Just i have seen a video before this one i.e. "outdoor life" was shocking 😢where a man was killing innocent bird by his gun
U just leave seeds on the ground and the rooks come and eat them, Right?
People in the comments keep saying they are crows. They are not. Look at their round shaped tail. They are ravens. I feed ravens in our country and they act similar.
There is a bit of a mix. There are a couple crows...the rest of the ones with the flesh coloured beaks are called rooks.

@@FenixForever we do have magpie here also but they mostly live in forest we dont see them in city
and thank you for the information about the rook
I wonder what part of Germany this is, it looks very... ex-Soviet.
Why does it even matter. DDR used to be pretty great in many aspects, even though media brainwashed you to believe the opposite.
But what do you feed them?
Do they leave you little gifts as a thank you?
Yeah some tickets to the bahamas
They are smart because :) Ravens use 1. Class Lufthansa, no way for cheap Ryanair.....! Enjoy Bahamas ;) Best Regards from 63739 Germany
K P you need to do that for at least one year so they can do that
I had a crow drop a Twix candy bar wrapper at my feet one day. I feed them everyday. They love dog chow.

Are those crows?
Yes
I want too feed them too what they need ?
They love peanuts in shell, meat. In the video are peanuts.

Why?
A group of “ crows” is called a murder. Why I have no idea.
are two crows attempted murder? and too many crows massmurder?
