You don’t have to waste the juice in the lemon. Squeeze the juice to use it in your food and use the skin of the lemon to clean the faucet or stainless steel cooking pots and pans
I've read that before making your bed in the morning, you are supposed to pull the blankets back and let the sheets be exposed to air and ideally sunlight. This helps to dry any sweat and kill any bacteria that would like the slightly damp, dark sheet.
Yes for sure. You should ALWAYS pull your sheets back and let your bed air out for several minutes while you are getting ready for the day. Your skin sheds cells during the night and we often perspire (sweat). Another reason to let your bedding air out.

But I find that I get out of bed, pull the bedding back so it can air, and then go get myself ready- shower, dress, hair and makeup or whatever you do in the morning. Then I make my bed last as I leave my bedroom. It’s usually 30-60 min depending on what I have to do. Then I’m fine to make my bed. I actually learned this from my mom (who was so wise) , but I’ve read about it too.

I use a dish brush instead of a toilet brush. Because of the angle of dish brushes makes it easier to clean under the rim. Also I use Murphy's pil soap spray on my faucets to get a great shine.
The toilet paper vacuum attachment is the hack I never knew I needed!! 🤯 Thanks for sharing! The new background is cute but your home background is like your signature!
The best cleaning tip I’ve tried is a system called the Light n Easy Steam Mop System. It is a steamer that does floors but also has a hose attachment with many different heads for scraping, scrubbing, wiping walls and counters etc. I had an art studio cleanup to do and the steam scraper made it so easy, the steam just blasts apart every kind of sticky, glued on, clay and pint and everything. I used it to clean some gooey dried junk out of the fridge. It does floors like sparkling clean and best of all it’s sanitizes! I was able to clean practically every surface in my house with JUST WATER. after you steam the surface you just wipe off the residue with a cloth and it’s sparkling clean. I love the thing.
I'll be ordering the window cleaner. Our windows just won't come clean no matter what I've tried so hopefully this will do the trick. Your videos are the best!
Glad you shared the vinegar and towels hack. I have been doing that for years. Soap is very difficult to get out of towels. The drain for our washer drains into our sink directly and the extra rince is still SOAP - even with using vinegar and extra rince. The laundry shop owner in our community told me that years ago, it the worst for their equipment (towels and laundry soap). This was before HE machines. But today washing towels with 'all' HE detergent, the last rince was still soapy. Thanks for sharing!

I am loving the lamp shade and curtains hack! I've been using a wet cloth to dust my lamp shades. I won't be any more. I also have to mention the cup holder cup cozy. I love it. So my nightstand is on my right side, I like to lay on my left side and watch videos on my tablet or read books on my Kindle and I'm always having to reach back for my water bottle or my cup. I use a roller on my lampshades; it does work well. Using a lemon for hard water spots on faucets and water knobs, though, is too expensive. All that is needed is either a damp Mr. Clean sponge or a damp microfiber cloth. Sometimes, a dry microfiber cloth works fine if the spots have not built up too much. Great hacks. Thanks.
When dusting your lamp shades, on some of them you can get a microfiber cloth and lightly spray any kind of dusting spray on you cloth and whip the dust off. In our house, I believe in my vinegar. I use it in the wash, scrubbing floors and other ways also. I also keep vodka, in the bathroom. Yes, I use it for cleaning also and washing my hair. Mirror hack - you can also rub hand soap onto the surface of your mirror and it will do the same. Stays fog free for an eternity. I renew it 2-3 times a year and instead of washing my mirror I do a quick dry-rub, if needed.
