Five Stars, Penina Tiafau and Punialavaa were Groups I grew up listening to because they were my parent's favourite singers. I remember all these songs being played on records and having them blasted through the house while we did our chores, when the extended family came over and the oldies played cards or even when we had family faafiafiaga in the lounge. I remember the card games room always cloudy with cigarettes and laughing at how today you can't even smoke in your own car. I also remember these songs blasted in the cassette player in the car when we went for drives and we didn't even have to wear seat belts back then, in fact, I remember babies being carried on the lap of whoever was sitting in the passenger seat in the seat of the car lol! Those were the good 'ol days!!
