Good video, just a few corrections though. There is no such thing as "grandfathering" in a business. For some businesses, accessibility may not be readily achievable, or they can prove that they don't have the money to make it accessible. They cannot say for example, that the building was built before the passage of the Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990, and therefore are exempt. Also, July 26, 2021 is the 31st anniversary of the ADA, you may want to mention that on that day. Keep up the good work! PS- with regard to your friend being locked out, he or she if they live in Connecticut may want to call Disability Rights Connecticut or the Connecticut Fair Housing Center for advice on how to handle that so that it does not happen again. Do not fear living on your own, if you understand our rights and responsibilities, there is no reason why you cannot live how you want to live. Easy? No. Possible? Yes.
