one thing i only realized just a week ago is that you can shoot missiles over obstacles by using the citv. just turn on aim mode to shoot the missile and then turn it off after firing to get more downward range of motion and this will let you sit behind cover and lob missiles at enemies

I once got to play this thing on single-cap Kursk, the southwest one in the wide open field. Went hull-down on the cap, just let off missile after missile after missile... in a full down-tier to 6.3. It was the single most satisfying battle I'll ever have in it, and it felt like cheating. Even got a cross-map HEAT yeet too.

Honestly it’s worse than the BMP-1. While the missile has more pen, the amount of situations where that helps at that BR is negligible but the lower speed is much more harmful
@@Valaritas I once had to make a desperate attempt to launch the missile on a Leo1 in front of me... and it just flew over his turret because it couldn't fly downwards fast enough.
@@laisy961 Well you could technically overcome that by aiming down at the ground and "hope for the best", but that's not that accurate and the BMP-1P's don't have to bother with the Konkurs.

@@oiermontero2310 Lots of stuff is not just being rendered on ULQ, stuff that would block your line of sight on higher/normal graphics settings so it is/was sort of an in-game wallhack because it allowed you to see people that you shouldn't be able to see. So this was put in to _not_ render vehicles you "shouldn't be able to see".

The late tandem missile is much worse than it seems, it has no depression so close courters firing is impossible, it is much slower than the konkurs missle and does less damage, pen is superior but thats it, the steering of the missle mid-air is like its gliding on ice and has no responsiveness, the konkurs missle is much better and steers like its a 30g r60. Also, the konkurs mod for the other bmps remove the auto-loader with makes it soo that a skilled crew can the the reload down to sub 6-second reloads on the main gun. The zbd is imo the worst BMP-1 in the game.
Justin, I noticed you didn't make a video on the EBR 1963 when it came out, would love to see you cruising around the battlefield with the less biased baguette. It's really fun!

As an only youtube viewer that has used twitch a lot in the past, I would say youtube is a good idea for high quality videos and streams, and twitch is better for audience interaction in some ways. TH-cam streams do work about as well as twitch streams so try it out, get familiar, and see which you prefer.
I didn't even know it had a tandem missile. I always thought it was just another copy pasta BMP-1, and I wasn't going to spade a 3rd one, plus it's not a vehicle I like very much. If not for that sad non existent line up I'd actually give it a chance.
The "lineup" is not that bad really, I brought the ROC M48A1 and the PRC ZBD86 along with the Type 62. But of all those the Type 62 was by far the most fun one, I'd almost recommend playing the chinese TT for that thing alone.

Speaking of non-existent lineups, while you're playing lower BRs, why not play the STRV 74? With a massive 1 vehicle in the Swedish 5.7 lineup, you will easily overwhelm the enemy from the sheer amount of respawns you have.
wow at 11:18 that su 122-54 kills you but that tank wasn't even rendering in till you got killed or that SU-122-54 is super fast compared to the BMP-1 i mean ZBD86 but i really dont think so. I watched and put it in slow motion and that SU wasnt even in the view of the side of that building they shot from at eleven 18 and not even at eleven 19 or until 20 when they killed you and then it shows the SU coming around the corner so thats a bit weird. Sorry but that doesnt make sense seeing how fast you were going and that SU shooting at you and killing ya.
The Missile at its BR is honestly worse than the BMP-1P's Konkurs because it fires at an upward angle and flies much much slower. The additional pen even hardly matters in uptiers because there's still few vehicles with ERA that you fight as China and then many of those that do actually have ERA don't quite offer enough protection to withstand a Konkurs. "tandem" is just a buzzword that triggers people in WT and big pen numbers always do as usual.

It's still a worse BMP-1, virtually no vehicles it faces have ERA, and its speed is far worse than the BMP-1's missile.
