I recommend you to check out iKON's Killing Verse which was released in 2022, you will be in shock with their raw vocals and rap, I promise you.
Ah iKON, the little group that could. The most unloved at YG but imho the most loved by their fans. I saw them in concert in Dallas and to say they give great fan service is an understatement. Bobby literally gave up his chair for me (I walk with a cane) and guided me to it to make sure I was okay. A moment of kindness that I will never forget. ANYWAYS, my favorite iKON song is the one I heard first, Killing Me. This song Love Scenario was so popular in Korea that elementary children were banned from singing it in school. Suffice it to say that almost every GEN Z child knows every single word. The 7 members of iKON: B.I. - former leader, main rapper, and producer. He left the group after a drug scandal (with T.O.P's snitch girlfriend) and is now a solo artist. No iKONIC (fan name) ever gave up on him and in a way our support helped him to come back to the industry as a BOSS. But that's a story for another day. Jay or Jinhwan - oldest member, Main vocals, sometimes called Prince Jinhwan for his good looks. Serving in the military currently. He's the Taeyang of iKON. BOBBY - Main rapper, only idol winner of Show Me the Money rap competition and one of the most loved idols in all of KPop. To prove, he announced his marriage and his girlfriend's pregnancy and not a single iKONIC demanded he quit KPop. There was a complete lack of scandal. If Bobby's happy, we're happy. He recently performed his first solo concert and his lives sound exactly like his recordings. He's definitely the most consistent vocally. DK or Donghyuck - Main Dancer, subvocalist and subrapper. He's the dancer of the group and Bobby's baby brother in every way that matters. He also used to choreograph a lot of the other teams at YG and is particularly close to Lisa from BlackPink. Chanwoo or Chan - Subvocalist, maknae and actor, he starred in several famous KDdramas as a child and joined iKON after the group had been training for several years in their second survival show. (They lost to WINNER in their first survival show. Totally worth watching) He also hosts a TH-cam channel that is mostly about game play and sports. This one is their most popular song especially loved by the general public but ikonics would argue this would not be among their favorite tracks, music wise but maybe its also because we've heard this a gazillion times and grown out of it. This one's much more chill and mellow than their usual sound which leans more towards hiphop but its an easy to listen track. Most of my personal favorites from them their discography dont have MVs and like bigbang, i would recommend you watch their live performances rather than their music videos if theres any. I would leave the recommendations for other songs to my fellow ikonics but i hope you would react to their DINGO KILLING VERSE. its a show where they sing a medley of their songs so it makes a great start in acquainting yourself with their music style.
