@Anna Pagnin i certainly agree that bigbang was inspired by their predecessors but my point is, all the artists that followed after bigbang were literally formatted after them, not after their predecessors, even in their female counterpart group 2ne1. They solidified the yg signature in terms of the image of yg, not to be only musically known for hiphop, but also in other fields which their predecessors did not tackle like their fashion, haute couture , trendsetters, even their scandals. It was only when bigbang started to have scandals that the whole company got the “druggie company or criminal company” nicknames. The whole yg image is heavily influenced and shaped by them not by by their predecessors is what im tryna say.

BigBang instroduced me to KPop, I got really obsessed with them when I started my journey back early 2017. Unfortunatelly I was a little late since I missed all of their live performances and shows. I had a big crush on Taeyang as well and T.O.P. As of now they are still one of my favorite groups and respect them artistically. They were unique on their style, music and personalities. I personally can say they opened me the door to Kpop.

Another Fun Fact about them that nobody in this comment section has said is: They were the Group that invented light-sticks, light-sicks is an object that lights up that fans can purchase when they go to their idols concert. Seungry got himself into some scandal over prostitution via his night club so who knows what their future holds. And yes, Taeyang’s Eyes, Lips, Nose is epic and is sung by many idols including BTS. Another good one is Ringa Linga by Taeyang. GD and Taeyang Good Boy is FIRE! So is GD and TOP’s Zutter. Just check out their entire MADE album, I think you’ll love it. It wasn't his night club. He was a 10% shareholder through another holdings company. He only dj there once in awhile because the actual club owners wanted to use his celebrity status to promote the club. He had no part in the management of the club or what went on there. He was never charged or even called as a witness for the club incidences. The whole club scandal got blown out of proportion by misleading click bait titles from the media.. As for the prostitution thing, the prosecutor's key witnesses all testified in court that he had nothing to do with it and he was not aware. He had a party at his house and the people he invited to the party brought prostitutes that he was not aware of. He didn't even know those ladies were prostitutes. He even offered to call a taxi for one of the prostitutes when the party was over because he thought she was a friend of a friend. Literally everyone who were involved testimonies in court cleared him of that. The court proceedings just occurred a couple months ago. All the court records and testimonies are there as public records for anyone to read.

I've been a massive fan of BigBang for 10 years. They are amazing in and huge personalities. I keep waiting for a new song to disappoint me and they never do. G-Dragon is my Bias.
Bigbang is the manual of kpop boygroups starting in 3rd gen. their success is what drove agencies to produce more kpop groups. Their rapper-vocals lineup is, obv, what the newer bgs followed. They redefined what a boygroup should be and is still the yardstick upto now. I am confident to say that There is no single kpop idol now that has not sung/listened to a Bigbang song. Kings of kpop. Live stage monsters. They do ballads, rock, pop, funk- anything under the sun. Name it, they have it on their discography.
BigBang also got me into kpop and are still one of my all time faves. I think you guys might enjoy them since they have a different era and vibe going on in their music. TOP (my second bias to GD) is a pretty good rapper, from a non rappers humble opinion. You make like some of his solo songs or many of the group's solo work. I'm not sure where to start for recommendations but the comments section has plenty of good ones 👍🏼✌🏼 This was fun, thank you for giving them a listen. 😄
Omg the First Kings of KPOP!! 😱 BTS themselves looked up to BigBang SO much and basically in their days they were THE group that took all the awards, views and all. Bigbang then went to serve in military and came back about a year ago all but in between they’ve had some brutal scandals so for now they’ve said they will be back but still nothing concrete. Bigbang to this day are YG’s best music producers and they were also the first ones to crack the non asian markets. GDragon especially is a legit genius, he is just crazy good at everything he does. So much respect for what they’ve achieved throughout their careers to this day. Check out their slower songs like Looser or TOP’s and Gdragon’s ZUTTER 😱🔥

Please check "fxxt it" by BIGBANG and their live performance is absolutely good. one of the members still in the military now. their last comeback is in 2018 with the single song "Flower Road" without any promotion cause the 4 of them are in the military. Their latest full comeback is Bang Bang Bang Era, or The album called "Made". Now the leader rumored is preparing a new comeback. BIGBANG is still existed but on Hiatus right now. Before COVID they are planning to make a comeback at Coachella 2020.
BigBang has very diverse music and all members have solo songs too . Leader G Dragon ( is actually a translation of his real name) writes and produce most of their songs and when I say he does that I mean he is involved from start to finish , you dont see 10 other names listed next to his on songs. To give you an idea how big BigBang is, before military service they were last active in 2017 and that year out of the biggest 10 concerts tours 4 were BigBang . Nr1 was a BigBang group tour and nr2 G Dragon's solo world tour with solo tours by Daesung and Taeyang in top 10 too In 2017 GD alone sold more tickets than BTS tour. If you put together the group and their solo tours they sold around 2.5 mil concert tickets in 2017 and in 2015 their group world tour was saw by 1.5 mil people

Omg, BigBang are the OGs and that’s how I got into KPop! I miss them and hoping they’ll do a comeback soon. They were supposed to perform at the 2020 Coachella but then Covid happened. Yes, they were already at their peak with Fantastic Baby (a must) in 2013 when BTS were just debuting. My bias is TOP, the one with the cowboy hat 🤠
And yes, having Paris (their choreographer) on a leash this day and age would be extremely controversial. Please react to Loser and Bae Bae by BigBang next! Their last album is called Made and these tracks are from this album. It was back in 2015. GD did some solo stuff, so did Taeyang. Seungry got himself into some scandal over prostitution via his night club so who knows what their future holds.
And yes, Taeyang’s Eyes, Lips, Nose is epic and is sung by many idols including BTS. Another good one is Ringa Linga by Taeyang. GD and Taeyang Good Boy is FIRE! So is GD and TOP’s Zutter. Just check out their entire MADE album, I think you’ll love it. I find their sound a bit more mature compared to BTS.

It wasn't his night club. He was a 10% shareholder through another holdings company. He only dj there once in awhile because the actual club owners wanted to use his celebrity status to promote the club. He had no part in the management of the club or what went on there. He was never charged or even called as a witness for the club incidences. The whole club scandal got blown out of proportion by misleading click bait titles from the media.. As for the prostitution thing, the prosecutor's key witnesses all testified in court that he had nothing to do with it and he was not aware. He had a party at his house and the people he invited to the party brought prostitutes that he was not aware of. He didn't even know those ladies were prostitutes. He even offered to call a taxi for one of the prostitutes when the party was over because he thought she was a friend of a friend. Literally everyone who were involved testimonies in court cleared him of that. The court proceedings just occurred a couple months ago. All the court records and testimonies are there as public records for anyone to read.

Bigbang is the manual of kpop boygroups starting in 3rd gen. their success is what drove agencies to produce more kpop groups. Their rapper-vocals lineup is, obv, what the newer bgs followed. They redefined what a boygroup should be and is still the yardstick upto now. I am confident to say that There is no single kpop idol now that has not sung/listened to a Bigbang song. Kings of kpop. Live stage monsters.
They do ballads, rock, pop, funk- anything under the sun. Name it, they have it on their discography.
BigBang also got me into kpop and are still one of my all time faves. I think you guys might enjoy them since they have a different era and vibe going on in their music. TOP (my second bias to GD) is a pretty good rapper, from a non rappers humble opinion. You make like some of his solo songs or many of the group's solo work. Omg the First Kings of KPOP!! 😱 BTS themselves looked up to BigBang SO much and basically in their days they were THE group that took all the awards, views and all. Bigbang then went to serve in military and came back about a year ago all but in between they’ve had some brutal scandals so for now they’ve said they will be back but still nothing concrete. Bigbang to this day are YG’s best music producers and they were also the first ones to crack the non asian markets. GDragon especially is a legit genius, he is just crazy good at everything he does. So much respect for what they’ve achieved throughout their careers to this day. Check out their slower songs like Looser or TOP’s and Gdragon’s ZUTTER 😱🔥

Their latest full comeback is Bang Bang Bang Era, or The album called "Made". Now the leader rumored is preparing a new comeback. BIGBANG is still existed but on Hiatus right now. Before COVID they are planning to make a comeback at Coachella 2020.
BigBang has very diverse music and all members have solo songs too . Leader G Dragon ( is actually a translation of his real name) writes and produce most of their songs and when I say he does that I mean he is involved from start to finish , you dont see 10 other names listed next to his on songs. To give you an idea how big BigBang is, before military service they were last active in 2017 and that year out of the biggest 10 concerts tours 4 were BigBang . Nr1 was a BigBang group tour and nr2 G Dragon's solo world tour with solo tours by Daesung and Taeyang in top 10 too In 2017 GD alone sold more tickets than BTS tour. If you put together the group and their solo tours they sold around 2.5 mil concert tickets in 2017 and in 2015 their group world tour was saw by 1.5 mil people
