My first car was a 1961 Chevy Impala SS. Of course back then it was only a few years old. Mine was not decked out like this and it was WHITE so it was still really sharp, but it had seat belts and A/C which were both novel items back then. This car had enough of the same features that it brought back some great memories. I was an idiot kid and blew the engine so I sold it to a friend who put a 454 in it.
It is really great to see this car and these guys always have the nicest cars. My personal favorites are the 1967-1971 42? CID engines by all the BIG Three automakers back then...
