Hi enjoyed the vid. Stayed there several years ago when it was called dreams. Thinking of returning. Enjoyed the enclave section, particularly there was a small bar at the far end of the pool section just before you reached the corridor which led to the restaurants. Nice seating and the bar man used to serve great drinks. I believe it was called the preferred lounge. Is it still there? Thanks
Thank you for your comment! Yes the preferred lounge is still there, just off of the adult bar section. We loved this lounge as it was air conditioned and relatively quiet. The extra snacks on offer at all times of the day was a perk too.
It is a very nice resort. It seems low season so it is not so full like at Christmas. Therefore quieter. But even in high season when itr's full it's still nice. Congratulations.
Couldn’t believe how empty it was - we went during UK school holidays so expected it to be a little busier but still in their off season it was very quiet.
Great video! Just wondering if there are a lot of organized events going on during the daytime such as DJs/music by the pools or dance/foam parties. Did you find the resort to be energetic overall? Thank you
Hello! Yes during the day there was lots of organised activities and lots to do. We mainly did bingo, water aerobics in the sea and waterpolo but there was so much variety going on. During the evening it wasn’t very lively. Adult side entertainment was usually just a singer accompanied by some instruments. The family side had proper productions on but we didn’t enjoy them. It would have been great if they organised more lively evening program - we would have loved to get up and dance! There was a silent disco one night.
Yes we stayed in the premium adults part of the hotel. You get access to an extra pool on the adults side if you are premium and you can also go to the premium family pool but we didn’t. The pool in the adults area for non premium guests is still brilliant so don’t let it put you off
We didn’t see any seaweed, the staff kept the beach so clean. There was plenty of loungers on the beach when we went in August - the hotel didn’t feel overly busy but this is because August is the off season for the Dominican Republic. Honestly, we don’t regret this hotel in the slightest. The mix of the waterpark, the adult areas and the vast choices for food were fantastic. The only thing I would say is the entertainment in the evening wasn’t great in the adult area for adults. It was very mellow which we enjoyed. I’d also reccomend going Encave because of the extra access to the premium pools and the premium lounge was a great quiet area for drinks and snacks - was also air conditioned which was ideal.
Can you explain that whole system to me please(adults only, premium) I really don‘t understand. Can I also use the premium area if I have only booked the adult part? Or do i have to Book the premium part extra to use the premium area? Another question, can i use Both Pools Like the premium and adult part when i only booked the adult part?🥲 Please help me i‘m very lost with that system😂
No problem, I really recommend you join the hotel’s Facebook group as there’s lots of threads explaining this a lot better than I can. The hotel is split into two: adult hotel and family hotel. Each of them has two pools - one premium and one standard. So there are four pools total at the hotel - two of which is premium. If you book only adult area, you cannot use the adult or family premium pool but you can use the adult and family standard pool. If you book adult premium, you have access to all four pools - adult standard, adult premium, family standard and family premium. Hope this helps!
