I'd become so disillusioned with music recently, and found it really difficult to find some new and interesting music. Well, this isnt new, but its restored alot of my faith in music and reminded me not every piece of music is another autotune fiasco
Picture shows more recent lineup. Keyboardist 2nd from left wasn't in the band at this point, and it was his joining that influenced their sound towards the dance-oriented direction (i.e. from Hummer onwards).
Japan was on that mask grind WAY before the rest of the world was (even though a lot of people don't wear them. It pisses me off more than anything. People are so selfish. Even if you think you'd be fine with covid, other people aren't. Including myself since I have a heart condition. Wear a mask to at least help people from getting sick and literally DYING)
You named a good few but theres many different styles of it. Example The bullet proof tiger, Them roaring twenties, Stage kids, riding the diplodoc, the littlest viking, Pele, cougars in the workplace, ghost and vodka, and LITE. There all instrumental and bands. Bands like Bygones By- (memebers of HELLA and Tera melos), City of ifa its a more harder math rock sound. Then theres a softer sound like Colossal and Marquette.
Then theres band like Alta, Native, The Reptilian that blend in Math rock, Emo, Screamo and some post hardcore influence which they have the newest sound to the math rock genre as of today and lastly there the kind like Foals, The cast of cheers and El ten eleven, and girlfriends which they all have thay upbeat dance punk influence. Realizing math rock is a great genre to blend into any of the other sub genres or genres itself
@abrahamisagreatman Quite sutre Mears originally started the band. And, even if that's not true, I still think Mears should be on the pic, and not Yannis.
Listen to Math rock. I don't mean like minus the bear and that bullshit but like them, roaring twenties, cougar in the workplace, clever girl, Auto! Automatic!!, the bulletproof tiger, the littlest viking, stage kids. Should give you more faith
Can Foals make a B-Side collection already
Yeah! They should re-release the single, but also re record it aswell and get Andrew back in lead singer
The drums make this song. Jack Bevan is an incredible drummer and tight af here. Amazing. Needs a re-release.
Fave song in the whole world.

Gotta Love Foals! Even though most of the time I can't understand what they are saying.
Just so everyone knows. This was from a single when they had their old singer Andrew Mears of now defunct 'Youthmovies.'
I love foals now, and I love this, and I love The Edmund Fitzgerald...Oxford Genius's
finally a math rock song
Mi favorita de Foals para siempre.
I think the song name is something Bill Hicks says in his just a ride thing. Awesome!
Inexpressibly amazing.
this is amazing, love this math style, reminds me of the band Rooftops
there will always be good music if you look. search and you'll find

I wish they would release this track as a b side on streaming and itunes man! I wonder why they havent released it.
I swear, the sidebar always makes my day
before my girlfriend does.
@fprule1 Yeah he was. It was Andrew Mears from Youthmovies and Pet Moon singing
On that covid mask grind before it’s time

sounds like something you can find in a fifa/pes video game ! love it
Thank you for the lyrics, yeah I know the best bands usually do :(
@JonnyBoy99890 I remeber hearing this on their myspace before Yannis joined the band. Its still sounds brand new
BILL HICKS Y'ALL: look up "it's just a ride" by the aforementioned. you'll be like "oh!!"
Bill hicks brought me here

Oh, oh no, oh yes, oh my, oh...
@fetmabebis Yannis has always been in the band.

Why isn't this on any of their albums?
Foals started being met in public in the album "Antidotes" when Yannis appeared.
They should release these songs on a b side album for unreleased works like these,
this is rock of the future ! :L
Where can you get this song??
wish I could lyrics to this
There were Foals, pre-Yannis?
Are they really Foals? Is there any any possibility that they are Youthmovies?
The singer is from yourhmovies, but one of the guitarists is definately Yannis and
@abrahamisagreatman Quite sutre Mears originally started the band. And, even if that's not true, I still think Mears should be on the pic, and not Yannis.
0.52 THIS IS MUSIC.............
Ohh I'm a bit confused.. Would you mind telling me, why Andrew Meats singed in some songs? Was he the lead singer before Yannis? :c
Yeah he was but then left soon after to work on another project and so, Yannis took over.
I prefer Yannis, he's voice is so special.
math
you know, foals..
@JonnyBoy99890
if you can't find good music anymore, your looking in the wrong place
If you guys like this check out lines in the sky
Better quality on my channel , btw guys this is an amazing song
Sorry, my computer auto corrected Mears as well. Im not sure, I would presume so? I don't mind his voice, but i prefer Yannis'.
This is Youthmovie Soundtrack Strategies, not Foals
+Ella Lloyd Andrew Mears went on to form YSS after he left Foals; this was the music made when he was still in Foals...
Finnbar Frank Jain Okay :)
Ella Lloyd :)
***** Oh thanks bro :) how do you know all this though? Do you know any other information about the bands formation as well? :D
It really isn't, but well spotted that Andrew from YMSS was the first Foals vocalist.
Listen to Math rock. I don't mean like minus the bear and that bullshit but like them, roaring twenties, cougar in the workplace, clever girl, Auto! Automatic!!, the bulletproof tiger, the littlest viking, stage kids. Should give you more faith
thank youuu
So weird to hear Yannis' voice like this
it’s not him, it’s andrew
wish it was yannis though!
This is great but I prefer Yannis's vocals to Andrew's
This sounds alot more like the band Colour than it does Foals.
Bill hicks brought me here
sacate un lado b
When Andrew sings it gives me a bjork vibe. i honestly prefer Andrews voice to yannis but they're both still good
Tim Jacuzzi yes in the very very beginning of their creation. Yannis stepped up to sing after Andrew mears left
Woah almost forgot about this comment. It's mad to see how far they have come and I finally got to see them live!
I love both their voices, they should really release all the b-side tracks
Category: Autos and Vehicles wtf?
yaya it is. just with andrew meats instead of yannis.
Ahh this sounds so wrong without Yannis' vocals :(
This is not Foals :/
it is
It is
Andrew Mears is a top singer....Better than Yannis for me
don't talk ill of yannis
Not sure Yannis should be on the pic. This is back when they were Math Rock.
Yannis was the Guitarist before he became the lead singer- so it fits that he is on the pic
The keyboardist shouldn't be there,
This isn't foals....
