    People in Morocco are not bothered by the sight of pigeon droppings or birds in general. If a pigeon nests in his window, he will feed it and take care of it. If a pigeon defecates on a Moroccan's head, he will wipe it away with a scented handkerchief while laughing.

    Great video ! I'm Moroccan born and raised in Casablanca but been living in Canada for the past decade. Let me tell you something, you went to some places I would NEVER go to especially the alleys in that market. As a foreigner or a tourist, you would feel safe because the locals there wouldn't want to mess with you. However, if you were Moroccan, I don't think you would've kept your camera, your cellphone and your wallet. Sad to say it but it's the reality

      Exactly my thoughts! I'm Moroccan too (female) not from Casablanca but from Rabat (the capital of Morocco and neighbouring city of Casablanca) and just watching him go through the small alleys gave me anxiety. Specially as a female, I could never walk around there. He had no idea of the danger of those alleys because he's a foreigner. He thinks because women and kids are there then it's safe but he doesn't know that it works differently in Moroccan hoods, those women and children are from there so everyone knows them and no one would harm them, everyone knows everyone there and they recognize the new faces so naturally if he was Moroccan who does not belong to that neighbourhood they would have spotted him and he would have been mugged the first few minutes. He got a special treatment for being a tourist.

    I am Moroccan and there is actually safety in Morocco, but sometimes there is no security in one case that could be robbed. And I'm from Casablanca and I know what's going on there because you haven't been to places at night. Because you're a different foreigner. The thief will avoid your theft because Moroccan law does not spare those who will disturb or attack tourists in any way.

Tell it to the soldiers who are told not to wear their uniform in public for fear of attack by the ‘locals’ …

    Heey I was looking for your channel for the past 30 minutes, subscribed now. I want to hear about your views regarding immigration and your other racist views about the "aliens". I am a big fan of you now, just not in a very positive light.
    edit: I will retract that statement I truly don't think you are racist just a bit misguided about why everything is so shit now in the UK. It has little to do with immigration (which is not good unless its in moderation) and more to do with wealth inequality.

    • @GoingGlobull
      @GoingGlobull  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Personally, I don’t care if people think I am racist. I treat people as people. What I think is politically sensible and good for society is not a reason to treat individuals differently. This topic isn’t one for short comments, it’s more for long form conversations. I’ll be jumping on some podcasts soon and I’m sure this topic will come up. These riots were more than predictable, as was the response, unfortunately.

    • @alzaphon
      @alzaphon 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@GoingGlobull I agree that we need to have these long and difficult conversations in order to see different views and reach a resolution. Everyone is so timid and afraid to have these conversations, but they are vital and should be encouraged, not discouraged. I personally do not agree with your views; however, it is important for me to hear and understand your perspective. The governments of the past 20 years are wholly to blame for this mess. Keep in mind that there are reports of foreign interference in the instigation of these riots, so it is not just a domestic issue but also a matter of NATIONAL SECURITY. There are no limits or compromises in matters of National Security, so please be very careful what you say and how you phrase things. Please post segments of the podcast on this channel.

    • @GoingGlobull
      @GoingGlobull  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We don’t have to agree. Our experiences and understandings differ. I’d like to think my channel shows I’m open to have the conversation and I am not afraid to speak my thoughts. I think one thing minority communities do not understand about being white English in England is how restricted we feel about what we can say and can’t. I appreciate your approach it sounds similar to mine. Ill share the podcasts on a community post when its done
