Egyptian trance DJ's are the best! Aly & Fila and Hazem Beltagui are taking over the trance scene with their subtle, pure and emotionally uplifting sets. I wish I could hear Hazem play for six hours! Massive set!
Yeah you're right, the Armin Van Buuren of 2009 would blow them out of the water indeed. I'm less a fan of the big room house thing Armin does, and I don't like the mega events. Trance should be in a club.
+After Shock I respectfully disagree. As long as Hazem Beltagui keeps making these awesome tracks weather original or remixed, trance will stay alive... underground.
+After Shock You are going according to popularity. Yes Hazem is not well known, but that doesn't mean that he cannot be compared to top DJs. The quality of his music puts many ranked DJs to shame. The main reason Hazem unpopularity in my opinion, is because he has not developed crowd connection on his live sets. Once he starts getting people to jump you'll see his ranking go up. Right now he is more like a mad scientist in the lab making amazing music. That's just my opinion.

Hazem is a magnificent EDM artist. Definitely my favorite. He just keeps getting better each song and remix he makes. I am happy to have found him at an early stage of his career, and wish him much more well deserved success.
