No DJ gets more out of using every button and knob on the mixer and CDJ than Roger does...he's mastered it for sure. He literally manipulates the sound on every track he plays, he's definitely earning his paycheck each and every nite he's booked to play
the absolute shame of it is the setting. look at all those "hangers on" shuffling around him in the box, being there just to be there. none of them seem to appreciate what he's doing.

Roger Sanchez was one of the last DJs to play in South Beach Florida before the 2020 PLANDEMIC Shut down. He played at Tree House. At the time they City Mayor was debating stopping ULTRA and all the WMC Hotel pool parties. Obviously the decision was HELL NO NOT THIS YEAR!

If all you’re doing is beat mixing from one track to another then fair enough, the skill is in the mix and a lotta folks see sync as cheating. But sync opens up a whole lotta possibilities, like using 3 or 4 decks with loops to create layers of sound, almost like remixing on the fly. Roger Sanchez is known to do this sometimes. In this case I don’t reckon it’s so bad. The guy can obviously mix so if you’re judging him purely on his ability to match a beat.. well that’s kinda missing the point IMHO. John 00 Fleming gave a great write up of this issue on his FB about 12 months back, really good insight as to how a DJ/producer sees it from their perspective. Check it out.
