I can understand his feelings, but there was a danger that if the GOP sued and the case went to SCOTUS, the potential nominee not being already on the ticket would mean the candidate was dead in the water. She has been voted for, as VP, already. So there’s that.

Former staff have said she refuses to take responsibility for delicate issues and then wrongly blames staff when things backfire. Staff have felt mistreated by her.
