I've watched this movie many dozens of times now and some individual scenes well over a hundred times now, none of the humor even slightly wears off. Definitely the most quotable movie of all time IMO too.
I love the little things you barely notice the first few hundred times, like the guy on the far left almost falling over when they're dancing on the broken table. I adore that one knight constantly spinning on one leg too, brilliant scene, brilliant song.

It's a testimony to just how brilliant and ahead of their time Monty Python was. This was made in 1975 and it can still make you laugh. Much like horror, most comedy usually doesn't hold up past, I dunno, 15-20 years? This was made almost 50 years ago and I laugh just as much now as the first time I saw it. They really were brilliant.
That cat is consistently getting beaten up throughout the movie. The old lady that Arthur and Belvedere say "Ni!" to was beating the cat against a wall when they approached her, and the same character was in the Bring Out Your Dead in the scene doing the same thing in the background.

It's probably just me but Camelot always looked kind of cozy inside. The lighting makes it seem like it's a dark and sealed off from the outside world but the abundance of torches and activity gives the impression that nobody feels like a hermit there.

Everybody who has the chance should go visit Doune Castle. It's one of the two castles that can be seen in this movie (the other one being Castle Stalker, which is privately owned and only open to the public sometimes during the summer).
Imagine being one of the chickens on this shoot. You're minding your own business when you suddenly get bused into a castle and tossed around by singing, dancing humans. Then it's back to being a chicken. Weirdest day ever.

A subtle joke seems to be that although they are the Knights of the Round Table, they don't actually have round tables......
There called that because a round table has no head, so every Knight of the round table is just as important as the other one.
