Hi Ray took bike out today unbelievable it was smooth fast great on corners. I said to my partner I'm only going half way round the estate I was out for an hour. Roads I've had really bumpy it rode over like a magic carpet can't hear nothing. With wheel being heavy than the 750wat the rear spring works perfect. I got to 36mph my throttle could go a bit more it was cruising. I could have been on all day if I coud. The only problem is mudguards they need extra splash ends. I've got some plastic left from the sides upgrade which I'm still diong. When a bike runs like that it makes me want get stuck in and finish the job. Next job is the seat. I might get 40amp controller I'm sure on PAS it has throttle and peddle so if I'm on one my throttle will be do same speed as peddle my other bike is like that it has 45 amp controller. With battery in bike it doesn't give much room to put every thing in seat to go in that compartment I'll see. I mean one part of this road is really bad I was dreading going over I slowed down to 28mph I couldn't feel a thing no noise whats so ever great
@@RayHenry100 Hi Ray there is a country road there's a bridge called spuggy bridge that's were I aimed for it's quite steep on one side I can't ues PAS because of that up grade I'll be diong so I was on throttle it went up same speed didn't even drop because it's a 1500wat motor can you imagine the power I have with 2000wat 45amp controller on that bike in top gear I can't peddle on that kit because the motor is very quick. This bank is quite steep you see if you have the speed it wous drop of eventually but that doesn't happen strait away. If you up grade to 1500wat like mine it's anough power to take most banks on and of course your battery will drop on voltage so will bike that happens to any ebike even 72 volt 8000wat top speed 78mph I've had all them bikes Ray. Don't forget let's say on my kit I've git throttle all the time when display is on 0 1to 5 is for PAS only on my other bike if I put it on 2 my throttle will only go to that setting so does my PAS so really it's like having a clutch to achieve that a upgrade on controller 40amp to 45amp has that facility. But PAS on peddle only means you can go high speed and your legs go slowly and you still have throttle to add to make more speed up. This road I was on about its really bad it's pot holes not to deep but enough to make ride hurts your back it went over like a magic carpet it brought a big smile on my face and a good feeling. These panels for side difficulty in bending around frame so I'm cut strait down from top to bottom then I'm making thin border to same shape as full panel stick and about five pieces then go around with trim then fill middle in again so it will be proud. When I'm finished I'll make a video. I'm a bit slow now because my legs hurt like mad. I wait till I have a good day because with pain I can make mistakes. I'm going on amazon to see if I can get some flares for mudgauds my back had a fee wet spots on I hate that with me things have to perfect well the best I can get it see you later os get a 1500wat kit if you join the blue wire it sticks speed to 18mph that's the law for all the bike is 1500wat thay can't do a Sam thing as long as you peddle

@@chukislukis Hi, the way I installed mine did require some drilling holes in the bike frame, and installing Rivet nuts. You would also need 2 tubes and an aftermarket motorcycle bike rack.
@@chukislukis Hi I’ve not been as careful with washing and cleaning this bike I have to say. When I do I just use a damp soapy microfibre then dry it and go over with another microfibre with Mr Sheen or similar, being careful not to get any on the brakes. I’ve not had to touch up the paintwork re scratches etc so far. But for minor scratches would probably buy a Matt black can of spray paont. Discharge some into a container and use a very fine brush to touch up scratches. Hope this helps,

Thank you. You get extra range from 30 to 60 miles, but unfortunately, no extra speed or power. With the extra 20Ah battery I only need to charge the bike once a week, so much less range anxiety.

When on pedal assist 1, every time I break on this bike the throttle stops also & I have to bounce the bike down to get it working again I think the issue I’m having is the pedal assist system but the problem is when I turn the pedal assist completely off the throttle doesn’t work at all. It becomes a regular bicycle. No longer an E bike
Hi , Not sure about the issues re pedal assist 1. I routinely use pedal assist 2 which is throttle either immediately or when you start to pedal. Pedal assist 0 is operating correctly ie no throttle/ motor engagement. I’ll try out Pedal Assist 1 next time I’m out and let you if I have the same issues.

Very nice!!! But a bit of advice get rid of those stock tires , and get some Veemotor Huntsmans . I had those tires on my bike a sharp piece of wood stabbed right through the back tire and flattened it instantly. I got the Huntsmans on front and back now, their like Tank tires, and I filled it with armordilloz it will probably never get a flat again!!!
Hi Ray what happened I sent message that I had a idea for a lock using battery lock it was a failure it's the headset metal I think it's spring metal that's hardto drill. So after the that message you didn't reply and I've put a few videos out normally you comment. Are you OK and bike have you had problems or are you chancing bike style again upgrade to bigger motor. Hope things are OK
Totally agree. I just repaired ( replaced inner tube) on a puncture Tuesday following an encounter with a .75cm tack. I’m sure I would have had more if not for the Slime. I’ve now got my eye on some Michelin City Grips 2’s 🙂
@@RayHenry100 Those are good tires, I found and purchased Pirelli mandrake tires for my bike. Best money I've ever spent. Tires are super straight, super thick and roll so smooth plus they're cheaper than the actual ebike rated tires which are over priced and garbage. I recommend you check them out.
Hi Ray I didn't no you made video. By your bike is compact but it is looks the the biz when I menshoind about damping front suspension legs your idea is better then you can see what's going on I would of thought of that after I done the first idea that's tippical with me sometimes I do something then look and say to myself g I d I shoud have done it that way. I can tell you love the bike I recommend upgrade motor 1500wat I've done my mine on the stand it's 46moh so I recon on road it will be around 37moh or more depending on weather and riders weight I'm 11stone 8 lbs so that's OK. Like video you have packed your bike and it looks entirely different. I did mension on one message watch the police for all it's 750wat it's looks more powerful than that. A 1500wat will be very quick and much more silent so it make riding the bike more pleasant abs also nowing you have that extra speed. I'm going to firm seat up and raise that pvc to 3ins and shorten krank arms buy inch and a half so that's four and a half ins higher so I'm inch and a half short my other bike from krank to saddle is 7ind higher so to achieve that height with this bike that's the best I can cumes up with at the moment. If I had a welder I would fabricate the height using tube then put seat back that would give a higher distance to peddle in comfort. But good job winter is best time to improve bike because of weather. Like the wheel covers but dirt collectors good job Ray😮

So no kudos to me for my take on your great suspension solution😊 I did have a cop car follow me last week but I styled it out and ignored them and they didn’t stop🤣 I covered over the hub specs with some black tape before I put the rim covers on making it impossible to get the hub info, and ‘try’ to ride slower than my Lycra clad folk. Your 1500w upgrade looks really good!! And when the weather permits I’m looking forward to your road test. I’m sorry to say around 13 stone ( I don’t know how that happened🤣), and the Bafang geared drive 750w delivers 80NM of torque but the 1500w does higher speed but ( and correct me if I’m in error) the 1500 direct drive around 70NM, for my hill climbs. So I’m torn on this one. Add to this finding a dual motor Bafang 750w front hub kit is also proving ‘Interesting’
Yes the seat height issue is a challenge. The extra height would , I think, be balanced out visually by a tank bag? Do let me know the source of shorter crank arms as I also be making that mod. If it’s the seat back bag search “motorcycle tool bag” in EBay for the best price and Amazon for the speed of delivery. On the side panels. Yes ‘version 1” are a bit soft but holding their shape and ply would be far more durable. You menshoind to take bat out before doing a job I had to leave battery in to try my new kit out but I shoud put on dyde stand then pull it over so back wheel isn't touching ground it would not have happened no arrow on magnet sellers fault. Sorted suspension leg used 4x4 wood then rapped a towel around alot of times then hit with a heavy hammer working fine now when I press down on suspension and when it comes up puul on handle bars no clunk. Pvc panels coming to day amazon 3mm thick very thin I'm using cardboard as a template to make sure it fits then cut pvc to that size. I'm going to have a border about a inch going all around I'm using half inch beeding to strenthing sides and for base so I can screw my controller inside make a door like other bike finish with carbon fibre stick on roll uesd on other bike. I noticed you have alot of dints in your suspension legs you can gaters on amazon I think they are cut down middle fix with super glue comes with the kit. I seem them last year I've got them on other bike but I put them on before I put forks to gether. I think weather is changing slightly milder so I can try bike out. I like the headlight higher not sure to do mine. Amzon always say when you buy it will arrive at 10oclock cones about 5oclock at tea time. Well there's no hurry. I'm thinking of up grading controller to either 40amp or 45amp wivh I can do on 1500wat and I've got a spare battery and holder 52v 20amp so I will have same power as other bike more or less. Even a 1000wat kit with upgrade controller and battery well I've 30mph and wheel is lighter in weight

So by transfer the controller from seat middle compartment itcwilmbe empty so I will keep kit in there and a 12v pump that runs on 12v fix pucture where it happens save walking or transport them rubber plugs work great used them on car tyres serpose to be illegal alot of people use there safe on a ebike. Can't wait for pvc in mean while I'm making cardboard template after I have a coffee. I'm my own boss so I can take my time best to get it proper

The Idpoo does have quite low peddles for its seat height and it’s not a very comfortable bike to peddle I’m 5.7 so I’m looking to do the same.

Side panels - Fabricated using wire mesh to shape, epoxy resin to stiffen and covered in water proof vinyl cloth. I might do a video if I make some more.

You’ll need some light very flexible wire mesh, a pair of scissor, epoxy resin, cloth, and vinyl covering material and a stapler. I’ll provide a list of parts from Amazon. It takes a few hours and I’ll do a step by step video soon😀

All I can say is it has to be right for you. If you’re tall this bike will be cramped so if you try to get a test ride first. Good luck.
I’m surprised you didn’t have an INNOVV K6 or Cycliq Fly12 on the bike.
These were a bit too expensive for this project and I wanted the screen to use for its rear view.
Very nice!!! But a bit of advice get rid of those stock tires , and get some Veemotor Huntsmans . I had those tires on my bike a sharp piece of wood stabbed right through the back tire and flattened it instantly. I got the Huntsmans on front and back now, their like Tank tires, and I filled it with armordilloz it will probably never get a flat again!!!
Hi Ray what happened I sent message that I had a idea for a lock using battery lock it was a failure it's the headset metal I think it's spring metal that's hardto drill. So after the that message you didn't reply and I've put a few videos out normally you comment. Are you OK and bike have you had problems or are you chancing bike style again upgrade to bigger motor. Hope things are OK

Totally agree. I just repaired ( replaced inner tube) on a puncture Tuesday following an encounter with a .75cm tack. I’m sure I would have had more if not for the Slime. I’ve now got my eye on some Michelin City Grips 2’s 🙂

Those are good tires, I found and purchased Pirelli mandrake tires for my bike. Best money I've ever spent. Tires are super straight, super thick and roll so smooth plus they're cheaper than the actual ebike rated tires which are over priced and garbage. I recommend you check them out.
Hi Ray I didn't no you made video. By your bike is compact but it is looks the the biz when I menshoind about damping front suspension legs your idea is better then you can see what's going on I would of thought of that after I done the first idea that's tippical with me sometimes I do something then look and say to myself g I d I shoud have done it that way. I can tell you love the bike I recommend upgrade motor 1500wat I've done my mine on the stand it's 46moh so I recon on road it will be around 37moh or more depending on weather and riders weight I'm 11stone 8 lbs so that's OK. Like video you have packed your bike and it looks entirely different. I did mension on one message watch the police for all it's 750wat it's looks more powerful than that. A 1500wat will be very quick and much more silent so it make riding the bike more pleasant abs also nowing you have that extra speed. I'm going to firm seat up and raise that pvc to 3ins and shorten krank arms buy inch and a half so that's four and a half ins higher so I'm inch and a half short my other bike from krank to saddle is 7ind higher so to achieve that height with this bike that's the best I can cumes up with at the moment. If I had a welder I would fabricate the height using tube then put seat back that would give a higher distance to peddle in comfort. But good job winter is best time to improve bike because of weather. Like the wheel covers but dirt collectors good job Ray😮
Hi Colin, glad there was no damage to yourself when the motor ‘kicked in’. I can’t image how shocked you would have been. I’ll be sure to disconnect the batteries when I’m doing the upgrade. So no kudos to me for my take on your great suspension solution😊 I did have a cop car follow me last week but I styled it out and ignored them and they didn’t stop🤣 I covered over the hub specs with some black tape before I put the rim covers on making it impossible to get the hub info, and ‘try’ to ride slower than my Lycra clad folk. Your 1500w upgrade looks really good!! And when the weather permits I’m looking forward to your road test. I’m sorry to say around 13 stone ( I don’t know how that happened🤣), and the Bafang geared drive 750w delivers 80NM of torque but the 1500w does higher speed but ( and correct me if I’m in error) the 1500 direct drive around 70NM, for my hill climbs. So I’m torn on this one. Add to this finding a dual motor Bafang 750w front hub kit is also proving ‘Interesting’
Yes the seat height issue is a challenge. The extra height would , I think, be balanced out visually by a tank bag? Do let me know the source of shorter crank arms as I also be making that mod. You asked me if a link to a product I’ve used can you remind me and I’ll send it. If it’s the seat back bag search “motorcycle tool bag” in EBay for the best price and Amazon for the speed of delivery. On the side panels. Yes ‘version 1” are a bit soft but holding their shape and ply would be far more durable. Hi Ray you sent same video I seen other day. You menshoind to take bat out before doing a job I had to leave battery in to try my new kit out but I shoud put on dyde stand then pull it over so back wheel isn't touching ground it would not have happened no arrow on magnet sellers fault. Sorted suspension leg used 4x4 wood then rapped a towel around alot of times then hit with a heavy hammer working fine now when I press down on suspension and when it comes up puul on handle bars no clunk. Pvc panels coming to day amazon 3mm thick very thin I'm using cardboard as a template to make sure it fits then cut pvc to that size. I'm going to have a border about a inch going all around I'm using half inch beeding to strenthing sides and for base so I can screw my controller inside make a door like other bike finish with carbon fibre stick on roll uesd on other bike. I noticed you have alot of dints in your suspension legs you can gaters on amazon I think they are cut down middle fix with super glue comes with the kit. I seem them last year I've got them on other bike but I put them on before I put forks to gether. I think weather is changing slightly milder so I can try bike out. I like the headlight higher not sure to do mine. Amzon always say when you buy it will arrive at 10oclock cones about 5oclock at tea time. Well there's no hurry. I'm thinking of up grading controller to either 40amp or 45amp wivh I can do on 1500wat and I've got a spare battery and holder 52v 20amp so I will have same power as other bike more or less. Even a 1000wat kit with upgrade controller and battery well I've 30mph and wheel is lighter in weight

Hi Ray I forgot to mention I'm buying two good tyres and tubeles kit. It's in back of mind getting a puncher. So by transfer the controller from seat middle compartment itcwilmbe empty so I will keep kit in there and a 12v pump that runs on 12v fix pucture where it happens save walking or transport them rubber plugs work great used them on car tyres serpose to be illegal alot of people use there safe on a ebike. Can't wait for pvc in mean while I'm making cardboard template after I have a coffee. I'm my own boss so I can take my time best to get it proper
