Thanks for the shout out we really appreciate it. Glad you enjoyed these. We saw them on a TV show and had to stop. They are kinda expensive but very good for a treat sometime. Looking forward to seeing you guys soon again. Tell Gentry we are glad he enjoyed our video means a lot coming from him.😎😎
We agree - they're definitely pricey but were good. We saw y'all's video and then watched the show "Somebody Feed Phil" where they were featured. We hope to see that Bobbie has a Happy Mother's Day.
Thank you, PT_II. We really enjoy traditional donuts but the layered donuts was fun to try. We hope that you guys are having a great weekend and hope that Penny has a Happy Mother's Day!
Thank you guys! We didn't think that they were anywhere near as good as Donut Country or Donut Palace, but we didn't think they were terrible. It's definitely not a place that we would visit on a regular basis. We hope that you guys are having an awesome weekend.
I have never seen a donut with layers like that. They do look delicious! We are always on the lookout for good donut places. This one seems to have some unique donuts. Hope we get to check it out sometime. Thanks for sharing this review!
You can never go wrong wit ha good chocolate icing donut with sprinkles. These donuts are really light and airy with all of the layers. Thank you so much. lol, Brent gets that a lot whenever Henry and Brent are side by side. We hope that you're having a great weekend, Shawna.
Love donuts wow nice sugar high delicious my sugar just jump alot of points ty 4 doing amazing video keep up the amazing work XOXO again Jennifer happy mama day ❤😊🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much, Gail. John and Bobbie are terrific people and always so kind. Thanks! - Henry has asked if he could help several times and we're going to start making it a more regular thing for him to be included in the intros. We hope that you're having an excellent weekend.
See you’re wearing a Cleveland, TN lucky dog hat! Cleveland is only a 20 minute drive from us. Those donuts look great. Agree with Jennifer that looks like too much icing. We want all those 100 layers!
That's so cool that you're only 20 minutes away. One of my college roommates started building guitars in college and now builds them for Lucky Dog. They make some awesome guitars. Coincidentally, we traveled through the Chattanooga area yesterday and drove back through again this evening. We hope that you guys are having a great weekend.
Hey Brett - I was thinking of you specifically this past weekend when I got some Eli’s BBQ & the next morning several Golden Hands Bakery donuts up here on East Side Cincinnati! I discovered at Eli’s a new wet hot sauce they recently added next to their only BBQ sauce on hand. At first it was ‘WOW’ firecrackers in my mouth but I got use to it with the leftovers the following day. Golden Hands has this amazing Apple Fritter I tried for the first time. I usually just get a glazed twist & a chocolate cake but somebody brought over to my house Saturday morning a box of their picks. Next time you come up this way you should try out these two spots.
Thank you for the recommendation, P J L We just looked up Eli's and Golden Hands. Both places look amazing! The pictures of the BBQ sandwich with slaw looks like it would be incredible and the apple fritter at Golden Hands has us sold. Thanks again for the recommendation - we've added both places to our list of places to try. We hope that you're having a great weekend, P J L
They were very good and the layers made them light and airy. We enjoyed that they included the Bible Verse as well. It was a nice touch. Thanks so much for watching, Tawna. We hope that you're having a great weekend.
Their paleo donuts are a phenomenal and suitable replacement for regular donuts. I follow a low carb/keto lifestyle and their paleo donuts are an absolute God-send. My LOML (love of my life) will order 6 donuts and eat them over the course of our stay in Nashville. She raves about their Purist and Vanilla Cream 100 Layer donuts. We are planning a trip to Nashville in September with our friends and she is already planning her order...I'm sure she's written down her notes in her travel-planning notebook. Another couple of places to check out in Nashville if you love burges are Stock and Barrel and Burger Up. Stock and Barrel is a place we will go to multiple times in an effort to try every single burger on the menu and Burger Up has phenomenal food and outstanding service... As a matter of fact, we've never had a bad meal in Nashville.
That's really neat - we had no idea that they had paleo donuts here. The vanilla cream sounds like a good option too. Thanks for recommending Stock and Barrel and Burger Up. We haven't tried either one of those but added them to our list of places to try. Thanks again! We hope that you guys have an awesome trip to Nashville this upcoming September and that you have a great weekend.
Wow! I love the fact they look flaky and airy, but they were also kinda dense too huh? Gosh they looked good. Great job cutting them in half and letting us see inside instead of taking a bite. I don't think it would've given the same perspective. Yummy yum! 🍩🍩🍩 The boys... Sigh, I just love em. 🩵🩵 (Does Gentry deal with headaches? He looked like my middle when he was waiting patiently for his try to the donuts but I saw him rubbing his head and squinting. Reminded me of our 3rd son who had to go to Vanderbilt for treatments of migraines ages 10-15 and then he just sorta "grew" out of em Praise God🙏🏻.)
That is so accurate, they were exactly as your described them. They're not our favorite donuts in the area, but then again, they don't serve the traiditonal cake and yeast donuts without the layers here. Thanks so much for your kind comment about our boys. Wow - that's incredible that you caught that, Julz. Yes, Gentry does suffer from migraines and similar to your son has had many doctors visits for treatments. His pediatrician is hopeful that he may also grow out of them. Since he's been receiving treatment, his migraines are not as bad or as frequent but they still occur from time to time. We're praying that is the case and it's very encouraging to hear your story of your son eventually growing out of them as well. We hope that you have a wonderful Mother's Day tomorrow.
@@EveryDayIsSaturdayTV ohh, I know the heavy heart you have when dealing with a baby who's hurting. I will definitely be including y'all in my prayers! One thing that may help is...a year into all the testing, we discovered while going through all of this was that he's allergic to blue food coloring. Once we discovered that, it was a game changer. Didn't illuminate the migraines but seriously minimized them and you REALLY don't know how many foods have blue (or yellow) food coloring in them until you have to know. It's crazy. We stayed away from anything blue, green or purple because of it. I swear he lived eating oatmeal and yogurt for three years lol. If you haven't already, which I'm sure you have seen an allergist, but maybe have him checked for food coloring sensitivity. Couldn't hurt. Happy Mother's Day to you too!!! 💐💕
Brent, those donuts looked so yummy and delicious! And really enjoyed your video! I love maple glazed donut really looked really yummy! As always loved the boys responses! Looks like the boys had fun on the playground at the end.
Thank you so much, Carla! The boys definitely had a blast with the playground and they really enjoyed their chocolate donut with sprinkles. We hope that you're having a wonderful weekend, Carla.
I agree with Jennifer. I am not crazy for frosting, or any sweet filling. I do like a fruit filling in doughnuts, but not sweet. I think it overpowers the taste of the doughnut. These looked good, but in my world, nothing beats a Krispy Kreme! YUM! Hope ya'll are having a great week and God bless!
A warm Krispy Kreme donut is always amazing. These donuts were not our favorite in the area but they're by no means terrible. It was difficult for us to compare them to anything else since the layered donuts are in a league of their own. We hope that you're having a great weekend as well, Cathy. Thank you so much for watching. God bless
I know it! Time needs to slow down. We were looking at videos from last fall and it's crazy how fast they're growing. We hope that you're having an awesome weekend, Sean. We've been busy filming down in Georgia this weekend - we thought that traffic was bad on the weekends in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but Atlanta traffic.....Yikes!!
We're the same way - we don't really enjoy Dunkin' for their donuts but do enjoy their coffee. Nashville has some great donut shops in the area (Shipley's, Donut Country, Donut Palace, and Project Donuts). We didn't feel like this place stacked up to the competition but it was hard to compare them since the layered donuts were almost in a league of their own. We hope that you guys are having an excellent weekend so far.
@Every Day Is Saturday Yes Dunkin does have great coffee..I also deliver a sweet tea to Tara at work several times a week 😄. We got to know some Cambodian immigrants who ran a couple of doughnut shops here in town and theirs were just incredible. I myself have been trying to stay away from the stuff that tastes good though. Another LeConte hike coming up in a few months..lol..
Yum ohhhhh
Another fun video. The donuts looked great. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, Don. We really appreciate that and hope that you're having a great weekend.

Nice video as always. Donuts looked good. I love J&B in the Hills. Watch them almost every day.
As you should.
They have a terrific channel and are even better people - they're so kind.
Awesome video, really glad yall liked it. We have tried 2 locations and multiple times but still have not found anything we like. 😢😢
Thank you guys! We didn't think that they were anywhere near as good as Donut Country or Donut Palace, but we didn't think they were terrible. It's definitely not a place that we would visit on a regular basis. We hope that you guys are having an awesome weekend.
