Why Data Lost from ArcGIS Layers? Best Solution Line

Files with the extension . mxd are ArcMap document files. MXD stands for Map Exchange Document. Only products related to the ArcGIS suite produced by Esri can read and open MXD files.

I have problem I lost some extension files like ( .sbn , .sbx ..) and my layer wouldn't open how I get it back

The .sbn and .sbx files are spatial index files used by shapefiles. If they are missing, you can recreate them.
Open the shapefile (.shp, .shx, and .dbf files) in the GIS software. The spatial index files will often regenerate automatically when you save the layer.
