The real question is, is this the first playthrough or ng++, a lot of these "one hit build" videos only apply to the first play though.
that maybe be true, but in NG+1 or 2 you can just soul flay like 3-4 times in total, so doesn't matter since they are completely stunned when flayed :D
I've seen so many player attacking me with many clickbait builds, got absolutely destroyed with my makeshift build (also I am bad at pvp not my kind of thing, I never go voluntarily) I'll try this build and see if this is legit good in +1 and above or just another one of those 100+ level showing +0 bosses
By NG++, your stats allow you to play any way you like.

I one tapped the rapturous huntress mini boss with this setup on ng+1
Dual Bloodlust Swords or Grinning Axes with Shon runes and the eye of bloody pilgrim + the 2 eyes that give each 25% soul damage annihilates everything. (using the ring of infernal devotion and the night's fire ring plus the pendant of infernal oblation). Buff this with infernal weapon and you ignite enemies in 1 attack.
It's amazing seeing a bosses health bar go from 100% to 0 in one hit.
So it seems there's a bug when you use Soulflay that multiplies the damage by A LOT. I had a non upgraded Orian Preacher Hammer and used the Radiant Weapon buff. When I soulflayed a Bulwark enemy (the armored guy that two-hands a spiked mace, I did 2200 damage, killing him instantly. While my weapon has 100 damage.

Light reaper swords are way better then the Queen Heads Hammer. At 40 Agi. And 25 Inferno my Attack power is 631 but you could swap Agi and Inferno since they both scale the same

There is a inferno great sword that have 2 scale A (stg & inferno) and idk why no one use it
The pale butcher eye is 100% bugged. It has a chance to just 1 shot any soulflayed enemy and youre using spells that hit multiple times almost guaranteeing that happens.
Who cares? It's almost exclusively a PvE bug since you can't actually attack an enemy invader's soul after soul flaying them. If it's bugged, I hope the devs take a long while fixing other things other than this bug cause it's such a minor thing that players can have fun playing with in the grand scheme of things.

Im doing my second playthrough with am inferno build and dual wielding the lightreaper swords amd im doing 2000 dmg on a charged heavy.. they both have a base damage of like 850 and their moveset and speed is in my opinion way superior to heavy hammers..

I'm dual-wielding the Lightreaper Swords, too and while a Heavy Hammer build is still charging the heavy attack I already killed the mob.

@@AxlDope i just finished yesterday that isaac paladin quest and itvwas supposed to unlock the lightreaper special attack, but its not working for me. I have the swords updgraded to +10 and nothing. Did i miss something or do you have the same problem maybe?? 😅

@@francistabasco1318 yeah i just realized it when i googled the bug. Dammit i started the game yesterday after the patch and unlocked the ability only to find out it doesnt work anymore 🫥 i first thought it might be because ive been using the swords from my previous playthrough so i even got the swords from the current playthrough and upgraded then both to +10 only to find out it didnt work 🤦🏽♂️
Guys its not a bug
The game tells.you in the beginning when you soulflay an enemy and attack their soul you will deal more damage than you woul normally. Now maybe the amount increased is bugged but dont misunderstand you are supposed to do more damage to their soul regardless of what is equipped
Dual wield is most viable when applying a status effect.

I cannot say for sure but I think its flat damage, not scaling with stats

Umbral is bugged. Everything does 100x damage right now.

Does this build still work like this I know there’s been alot of changes and updates to the game?
No it doesn't I just switched to inferno in that spell it's only $2,000 with my if no it doesn't I just switched to inferno in that spell it's only 1000 damage even if I upgrade my catalyst to the best one in my start to maybe 99 even that I can tell the same damage he did I think this is an exploit or maybe glitch
My harrower dervla crossbow does 102k
I wouldn't be surprised if it's not a bug. With the eyes you get +50% damage to soul and you can hit the real body at the same time.
It's definitely a bug and it's not just spells.😂

Always referring to a rune that is only available at the end of the game is strange. Or is this just me
right. bros like this will help you use this weapon early game but that items found at the end xD
If you mean crafters rune, you get it around mid game.

Didnt bother watching the whole video because i want to make my own builds and do what i can without minmaxing off youtube videos but i just HAD to stop by and say there aint no way in HELL that mistress of hounds would have 95,000 hp let alone have any hp leftover after such a hit. I get its a thumbnail but at least make it believable 😂 good work though

This reminds me of the Dark Souls 3 machine gun bow glitch, however to setup a build around that is much more complicated as you need a late game item lol
