Shinguuji is the best V3 boy, I don't care what other people say. The way he's so cool and smart, plus his cultural anecdotes, made me fall in love with his character immediately. I adore his interactions with Saihara and his small anthropology lessons are really interesting, they made me want to research all the stuff he mentions during the game! He's very stimulating intellectually. I know why he's so hated, and I do not condone his actions at all. But since he's just a fictional character, I still enjoy everything about him.
I already said I do not condone his actions! I could never try to justify them, especially the incest (murder is... pretty much normal in the Danganronpa series lol). I generally like to dismiss it as him being completely mental and delusional anyway. My point is that he does not exist, so it's not like he committed these crimes for real. I can still enjoy the good aspects of his characters, like his cultured mind and general sharpness.

An anthropologist's work should never be purely extractive!
